I had an estimate with the job done the following day! Very professional, and clean. Drop cloths were used and dust and debris vacuumed. Very satisfied and will definitely use them again!

    Rich has been my heating and cooling guy for four years. I was traveling and my wife called to let me know that our water heater had just failed and there was water leaking all over our basement. It was 9:00 at night. I called Rich and he picked up within two rings, immediately told me what I needed to tell her to do, and made arrangements to replace the water heater by mid-day the next day. I can't say enough great things about Rich and his company. The gentleman who showed up (not Rich) was right on time and completely professional throughout. I highly recommend this company.

    We are selling our home. Buyer's inspector flagged lower level furnace as a safety hazard. 18-year old "builder's special" furnace was on its way out. We decided replacement was the best option so as not to scare off our buyer. Technicians came the next day. Used existing venting to save money, but extended exterior pipes to comply with current building codes. Installed CO2 detector and new digital thermostat in order to make the most of the more efficient unit. Gave us Angie's list discount without even asking. Cleaned upstairs unit at no cost and did not charge for first service call. Next day, received pre-filled GasNetworks rebate form and product registration form via email. Very pleased!

    It is very difficult to find a company to service oil fired heating and hot water equipment without having to start a full service contract to buy oil. I called several companies and never got a call back. One company that did answer the phone, gave me a price of $700 to perform the service for both. I understand oil is messy which is why most companies don't want to deal with it. I was tempted to just start a full service contract because I wouldn't find any one. I am getting prices on other things around my house and (3) other companies recommended Palmieri Mechanical. I called and Rich answered my call. Rich was able to send out his guy Mike the same day to perform the service which worked out great. Mike took his time and was very thorough with the cleaning/service. He did not rush through it like some other companies do. He answered all of my questions. He did a very good job cleaning up once he was finished. He even used mastic to seal around where the vent pipes go into the chimney. The last service company didn't do that so I had to do it. The receipt he left was very detailed and easy to read. They even left the print out from the efficiency test. Will definitely use them going forward for all maintenance and service needs.

( he was also nice enough to help me install a proper vent for the bathroom exhaust fan ). Shopping for a new home now if I need HVAC work this is where I will call

    This was just an annual check and tune-up to my central air unit.  Jim really did a detailed inspection and also cleaned the drain line to ensure there would be no back ups when the hot humid weather hits.  I explained to him last year that it had clogged and water ran down the outside of the unit.  He told me he would make sure that didn't happen this year.  He also discovered that the high voltage relay (I think that's what it was) was faulty.  I explained to me what it does and how much it would cost to replace it.  I thought it was a fair price and gave him the go ahead to replace it.  I'm so glad I had this annual check of my system performed, if not, it would have not worked when the hot weather arrives.  
    I was very impressed with Jim.  I felt like he truly cared about the service he was providing and did an outstanding job.  He is a tremendous asset to ARS.  I will try to ask for him by name next  year!

    I had a problem with them. The sales guy was named Duke. First, it was going to cost $500. I said, I'm just renting. I don't think I can afford that. He said, well, how about $400. It just didn't make sense to me. It was for my heating and air conditioning system. So, I called them up and they refunded me $200. The woman I talked to was lovely. I explained everything to her and she talked to her manager and they sent me $200.
    I had used them 2 other times before this. The same gentleman came out both times. Instead of trying to scam me he said, I can't tell you if it's going to fail. It might last you another 10 years, it could break tonight. I think when they see other people they bring in the fear, Oh you might be without heat. I think that if I ever use them again, I would ask for the same gentleman. I would not accept anyone else.
    My husbands friend came over and when he found out they charged me over $200 for a part he said it should not cost more than $10.

    The tune up went well.  I went with his suggestion to have him clean the coils for an additional $206.00.   Dave was very professional,  knowledgeable and helpful.  He actually explained things to me, which I really appreciated.  I spent a lot more than I had planned on, but I feel much better having had this done.
