    J M Appliance Service
Great experience with James servicing our Samsung washer. James was responsive to our initial phone call and promptly scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was on-time, professional and polite during his visit. James quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, the washer needed parts no longer available, but James took the time recommending some new appliance options which will definitely help us moving forward. We would highly recommend using JM Appliance to others and will turn to James again should we need appliance servicing. :)

    AM Appliance
Called AM Appliance on a referral from JM Appliance (same family). Archie said he could have someone out at 11am on the same day. Archie and Jason both arrived just after 11 and got right to work. They quickly diagnosed the issue and came up with a solution for the dryer vent. They also provided some suggestions on how to keep the vent in good shape. They also looked at the dishwasher and eliminated the typical areas that leak and indicated it is most likely a bad bath seal. They recommended purchasing a new unit because replacing the seal may or may not work. All in all happy with the service and availability of AM Appliance.

Responded to my inquiry on the same day and scheduled an appointment a few days out. Jamie was friendly, professional and didn't waste any time attacking the issue. I would definitely recommend this service provider and will not hesitate to go back, if needed.

    Sears Appliance Repair

The technician arrived on time on the scheduled date. He vacuumed the lint from my dryer and adjusted the feet under the washing machine to make it more level. I did not witness this, this is what the tech told me he did. While he was at my home, he offered me a one year protection plan agreement from Sears for $226.43. Since my washer & dryer were already 5-6 years old, I decided to buy the protection plan and put the charge on my credit card.

The next morning I decided to do some laundry. I noticed that my clothes were taking 4 times longer to dry than usual! I was very concerned that something may had been damaged or altered when the tech had vacuumed my dryer. I called Sears to ask for a tech to come over to look at. The first person I talked to on the phone (John) said that since the technician had just been to my house the day before, this would be considered an emergency and Sears would call me back within an hour to schedule someone to come over that very day.

An hour and a half went by -no call from Sears. I called back and spoke to Michael. I explained the situation, he passed me onto someone else (Andrew). Long story short, I then had to speak to a Cocoa (?), Claire, Sylvia, and finally Maria. Maria stated that all the appointments were filled for the day and no one would be able to come to look at my dryer. She offered me another appointment for a week later. I told her that was unacceptable, the technician was just at my house the day before and now my dryer (which was working fine before he came) was not working properly. She said she was sorry, but there was nothing else she could do. I asked to speak to a manager, she said the best she could do was file a complaint for me. I agreed, filed the complaint with Maria, and was told that a representative from Sears would be calling me 24 - 48 hours later. I have NEVER heard from them.

Still with a dryer that wasn't drying my clothes, I wondered if there could be a blockage due to the movement of the lint as it was being vacuumed. I check the vent on the exterior of my house and discovered the vent totally blocked by lint. My guess is that as the tech vacuumed, some of the lint traveled up through the dryer hose and got trapped in the vent. I strongly feel that the technician should have checked my vent. It seems apparent to me that he did not do a complete job.

I am extremely disappointed in this service from Sears. I am more upset with the empty promises they made to me over the phone. The first one being that someone would come over within the day to check my dryer. The other broken promise is that they NEVER contacted me regarding my filed complaint. I plan to attempt to cancel my one year protection plan - I will never hire Sears to do work for me again!

    Hudson Appliance Center
Repair folks came out 8 times and the cooktop was still not fixed!
Some parts were replace 3 times (transformer) and broke again shortly after.
We were charged for all service visits and for all parts.
We received no assistance in contacting manufacturer to see about warranty or reimbursement for parts.
We had to call Hudson Appliance repeatedly to have parts ordered and to schedule visits.
They never returned our calls. They refused to consider replacing the cooktop. It was a $1500 cooktop that was less than
16 months old and is used very little.
We gave up and ordered a new cooktop at a discounted charge from the manufacturer. We hired our own plumber to
    install it.
We  spent close to $10,000 at Hudson Appliance to purchase several appliances including this cooktop. They were not at all concerned that we were unhappy and were not interested in working with up to resolve this problem.

    Mr. Appliance of Central MA
I wasn't very happy with them. The first guy came and said there is nothing wrong with my dishwasher or with the refrigerator, but there was. There was a problem with my refrigerator and my dishwasher. So I called back and argued with the manager not to send that guy again and he sent somebody else. It took a few days for the manager to get back to me. The second person who came was pretty good. His name was John Paul. He fixed my refrigerator. I wasn't getting any ice, but I still have an ongoing problem with my dishwasher. I wanted them to pull the dishwasher and see what is leaking out. But nobody would do that. They don't want to scratch my floor. Well, my floor is buckling. So, as a matter of fact, I am waiting for plumber to come. I am very unhappy. My dishwasher is leaking downstairs and I spent over 300$ with these people. They were supposed to give some kind of a discount because I was with Angie's, but he did not give any discount. I would not recommend them.

    Automatic Appliance Service Inc
Unbelievable service! My wife's wedding and engagement rings were accidentally left in clothing that went through the wash. Upon realizing the mistake we found the wedding ring in the washer but were not able to locate the engagement ring. We contacted Automatic Appliance that morning and they had a team out to our house within two hours. Bob and his team were able to quickly take apart the washer and found the ring under the drum of the front load washer. They also switched the placement of our washer and dryer. All in all this was a wonderful experience and we greatly appreciate the professionalism and care that this team displayed. Many thanks and would highly recommend Automatic Appliance!

    Southboro Appliance
I left a message on the answering machine late at night, got a call back from the owner quite quickly.
The problem with the fridge was diagnosed on the phone (the coil frosted over so the air was not going through) and a remedy suggested - just leave the fridge off for 24 hours with doors open.
Did as suggested and the problem was solved.
No visit was required and no charge has been made.

    Belcher's Appliance
Great Service Department! The folks in the service & repair department are fantastic! I've used them on 3 separate occasions and they are extremely knowledgeable, courteous & helpful. Their rates are reasonable and on two occasions they actually helped me troubleshoot over the phone which easily took care of the problem and saved me the cost of a service call. With this kind of customer service I'll definitely be using Belcher's both when I need repairs and when I'm in the market for new appliances as well.  Great customer service and rates for repair calls!
