    The price was high for what was done and it was not even done as I had clearly requested. The owner's attitude left much to be desired and I did not want to get into a big argument with him.  Ultimately I took it somewhere else and for a much better price had done what I wanted.

    This business owner was contracted in Aug 2014 to reupholster my sofa with an additional two throw pillows.  He promised completion within two weeks.  For eight weeks, he avoided me, lied to me, made excuses, did not respond, his shop frequently closed up. The very few times I did connect with him, he made promises of completion and delivery; dates came and went and he never called.  I was completely ignored and irrelevant as a customer.  Finally on Nov. 3, he delivered my sofa in the wrong fabric and without the two pillows.  He refused to refund my money.  He said he would refund what he spent on material or redo the sofa again.  Being caught between a rock and a hard place (I had my sofa that I did not want now, he had my $1160), I said he could redo it and provided him with the place to get a fabric I wanted as he had no other fabrics that I liked.  He never contacted the fabric place or put in any order for fabric.  Realizing that he was never going to attempt to redo anything, I left messages that I wanted to be reimbursed for the wrong fabric he had put on the sofa in and the two pillows he did not complete.  I have never heard from him. I am out my $1160 plus the cost of another upholsterer to redo my sofa.  I have never had such an experience with a business and certainly don't know how he can totally disregard his responsibilities to his customers.   He has removed his website and Facebook page from the Internet and I am now seeing like reviews from other of his customers.  This business closed at the Chestnut St, Florence address last fall and moved at that time to 55 Rural Rd., Belchertown, MA 01007.  Please, if you want your money and your furniture, stay away from this business!

    He was prompt, courteous and just a generally friendly and pleasant person to work with. He has since returned to fine-tune. The piano sounds better than I have heard it in years! He also worked hard to help me find someone to do some cosmetic work on the piano. I would highly recommend Sean.

    I personally spoke with the owner, and he was very forthright in his product suggestions for my specific need. I was then connected to one of the other employees who proved to be very informed, efficient and courteous completing my order. I will continue to do business with this company, and I am recommending Giguere to my friends and others who are seeking appliance and repair services. Giguere is a rare company in this day when so many businesses neither care for nor appreciate the customer. Bravo to Giguere and its very professional staff. Written by a very satisfied customer.

    The service was good. The item was on sale and they were actually sold out but they found one at another Best Buy store close enough that I could drive to. They did the paperwork and I drove to the other store to pick it up. They gave me good advice. They could have sold me another sand bar from a different company and told me that the sale one was crappy.

    Everything was easy from choice of appliances, information to help making the choice. No pressure. Delivery on time. The only problem was that they do not install, (at least not for counter depth refrigerator) so the appliance is delivered and then installation is arranged by the purchaser. Sales and delivery people were all knowledgeable, helpful and personable.

    I have used Giguere's three times now when my old appliances have died. When I saw the fridge i wanted it was really grubby and they told me it needed a new compressor, so it would take a week. When they delivered the fridge it was so clean that I thought it was a new one. The guys who installed it adjusted and readjusted it for me in my quirky old house, which was great. It is still an older fridge of course, but still: what a deal! (And of course they will take the old machine away, and i use it for parts before scrapping!) I really do love this place, and they don't mind if you ask a lot of questions and you can see the workshops where they do everything. They seem like a really good family business. Incredibly fair prices. I really couldn't be happier.

    I found Sean on Angie's list and he was easy to reach and set an appointment with.  Our first appointment was for him to tune our piano.  We set a second appointment for him to repair a broken key.  Both times he was prompt, efficient and professional.

    Manny's was a really bad experience for me. Manny's lost my beautiful Bosch dishwasher, so I can't get it delivered. Manny's won't return my money, so I can't buy another dishwasher. Manny's management has been unresponsive to my attempts to collect either a dishwasher or money. I have been trying to get this accomplished for quite some time as it is now 4 years later!!

    I was calling them about a year ago, and got to spend time on hold waiting for people who were never available at the times that I called, even if I called at the exact time when I had been told to call back. Clearly, I get the run around from them. My salesperson has been calling management for me - same story, no resolution.

    At this point, I am through asking for the dishwasher. I want my money back. This time around, it's all going to be in writing. Instead of clicking on their links to email them, I copied their address into my own email, so I have a record of my correspondence. This time around, I am hoping that by posting on Angie's list, I can get their attention to fix the problem they gave me (happy holidays!), and I won't have to take them to court.

    and quot;We have to do better... we live hereand quot; has not come true for me. The problem is not with the salespeople, who I have to say, seem wonderful. The problem for me has been the management at Manny's when things go wrong. Next time I buy a dishwasher or other appliance, I will go to other places (look up my other reviews to see my recommendations). A great sales force cannot make up for a total lack of support from management - when the chips are down, Manny's isn't there for me.

    By the way: I rated the price as and quot;Fand quot; because the roughly $550 that I paid for the Bosch dishwasher would have been a good price for that dishwasher, but I got nothing in return, so it was a really bad price!! I could have bought some air for a lot cheaper than that!
