    Melanie Murphy Interiors
I have worked with Melanie on numerous occasions for several rooms in my home. She was excellent at selecting paint colors, tile, flooring, and window coverings for our living room, bedrooms, kitchen remodel, and 2 bathroom remodels. I also love the Hunter Douglas woven wood shades and blinds that she provided for us. Melanie makes the decision making process fun and easy and guides you in the right direction so that you are thrilled with the end product.

Nilton and his team did a great job on my two bathroom remodels - one was a full remodel of the master bathroom, the other was a new shower and floor for the 2nd bathroom. Pricing was very fair and ProTouch was able to start and finish the jobs before other contractors were able to start. Nilton is a pleasure to work with and plan to use him again for other contracting projects at my home in the future.

Little surprised why they are here on Angie's List at all! Anything and everything they did was to just 'con' the customer. The ultimate deception was that they used my signature on the invoice with the price which was not agreed upon! They just used my signature from the original estimate to what they wanted to charge me! There were some missing links between the salesperson who induced us to sign the contract and actual work. Work was just okay - however, after completing the work, when a faucet had a leak, I was told that the this will not be taken care of until we make the payment of the charges on the invoice that was digitally doctored (fabricated!) Please do not trust them!

    Stone Projects LLC
Use only for Stone work. Unfortunately we let Leo convince us that he could handle the remodeling of our kitchen, master bath, repainting of the entire interior of our home and refinishing of hardwood floors on both the main and upper level of the home. He provided a six week project plan. The project started in October and right away there were problems and he replaced the experienced lead carpenter with his own inexperienced work force which led to lots of issues. Cabinets for the laundry room were not ordered in accordance with our sign-offs and had to be replaced. The kitchen cabinets for the sink run were miss-measured by him by 9" and luckily I caught that in time but there were still issues with the cabinets that he couldn't resolve. The master bathroom cabinets were miss-ordered (only finished on the fronts and not the sides! ) and had to be re-ordered at Stone Project's expense. The project coordination was horrible. At one point he had people doing sanding and construction work in the kitchen and at the exact same time had the painters painting the Kitchen guessed it, that had to be repainted. Also, while putting plaster on the walls for the cabinet pantry, they put the cabinets in at the same time resulting in wet plaster on the cabinets that needed to be removed. The process of attempting to refinish the hardwood floors was a nightmare. After staying at a hotel for a week we came home and found they weren't finished correctly. To make matters worse, Leo's Stone Project employees put down Ram Board to protect the floor.......but they did it with masking tape which pulled off the finish!.....his floor subcontractor abandoned him and he had to hire another subcontractor to redo the floors so we had to exit the house again for another week. Less than 6 months from those being redone and they're already peeling! Anther example of Stone Project's ineptness was that while trying to find a stud to hang a cabinet in the master bathroom they drilled no fewer than 30 holes looking for a stud (and yes they were using a stud finder). He finally admitted he didn't have the expertise to finish the woodwork in the bathroom after months of leaving it unfinished and without electrical outlets. The subs were constantly complaining about his inexperience to us and that he wasn't paying timely. He also kept telling the subcontractors that he knew what he was doing because he had a business management degree from Northeastern. We had paid Stone Projects/Leo everything (some amounts were even in advance of the that we owed him except his 20% holdback and he began demanding the holdback although the laundry room and bathroom were far from complete and we had a three page list of open items 6 months into the 6 week job. He told us we were being unreasonable to not pay him the holdback as they continued to work, but that's the purpose of a don't pay it until the job is completed and that was his payment arrangement. He abandoned the job in March and we haven't heard from him since. We have heard from several of his contractors who were looking for payment, but we showed them that the arrangement clearly had Stone Projects responsible for payments. We are in the process of working with other contractors to get the job finished correctly and totaling up the cost of that and the required rework to be able to take the proper next steps. The stone work came out great and that's consistent with the other reviews but we strongly recommend that you avoid using Stone Projects for anything other than stone work. Go with an experienced general contractor.....we should have!

    Palm Beach Kitchens & Interiors
Couldn't be happier with the end result. Tracy listened to what I was looking for and came up with ideas and solutions and at the same time listened to my concerns. Any problems that arose were resolved quickly and professionally. As someone who has no idea of colors, color schemes, countertops and cabinets I was completely comfortable working with Tracy and leaving it up to her.

Jay and his crew are awesome! We hired them to completely gut and renovate our kitchen. Jay was so patient with use and had a great "whatever you want" attitude. He answered question after question and the results were spectacular.

What can we say? Only excellent on every aspect of our condo renovation. Kitchen and 3 bathrooms were beyond our expectations. Thru Mike, worked with Nick at Bravo kitchens in Melrose. Nick's designs made a tiny kitchen big and open. Chris (carpenter) has the percision and attention to detail and offered many design options. Loved working with him! Everything was perfect from finish to end. Mike and his crew are very talented in each of their respected fields and all were a joy to work with. It was a pleasure working with Mike would hire him and his crew again in a heartbeat! Would like to extend a Very Merry Christmas to the whole crew! Thank you so much. We are so very happy with the finished product. Patti and Paul, North Reading

Scott and his crew Chet and Matt were fantastic. We were on a tight timeline with a baby on the way. We also stayed in the house during the renovation. They showed up everyday on time. They kept things clean/neat with minimal dust. They were efficient, but also really committed to making sure the work was done right and looked nice. Several times they helped us to make the right decisions when we were on the fence about how to do things like leveling our floors since our house is old. They tied the new addition in really well with the rest of our house and gave us helpful tips on how to stay on budget since our budget wasn't huge for the size of the project. We went with Ikea cabinets but added things like higher end drawer pulls and molding to make it look nicer. During the project we got a detailed itemized estimate and timeline with regular updated actual costs. When speaking to friends who did similar renovations they did not get any of this. We came in right on budget and we are loving our new space!

Job was completed before timeframe, every communication was followed through with including phone calls before each and every step of my contract. Mark flew from Colorado just to complete my job because I have used his company and recommended to many family and friends in the past.
