    Integrity Overhead Doors
Integrity was excellent. He was quick to call back (other providers I called did not always return my call) and provided me with clear information over the phone on pricing and opener options. We talked about when he could come and do the work. His schedule was delayed but he was very good about keeping me updated and arrived when we said. The door opener is great quality and works perfectly. I will be needing new doors in the near future and will absolutely have Integrity do the work.

    Reliable Overhead Door
One of the springs on one of my two garage doors broke. I decided to replace both springs on both doors. On the first visit he did not have the right spring for replacement. The following week he came and replaced all 4 springs. Later I noticed that the safety cable did not go through the last loop in one of the springs so I called him. He came back within a week and fixed that. He did not charge until the work was fully done and did not charge for repeated visits. The final price was the lowest among the 3 or 4 places I called and exactly within initial estimate. He was always professional. He always either picked up the phone or called back shortly after I had left a voicemail.

    McCabe's Garage Door
Our garage door experienced issues on a Saturday morning and would not close due to the cable coming unraveled. Within a couple hours, Chris arrived to fix it. He was prompt, professional and did a great job fixing the problem. Will definitely use them again!

    Lynoka Garage Door Service
Service was prompt and friendly.  We had an inspection of two garage door openers and hardware because the garage doors were not staying closed when we tried to close them.
Upon inspection Scott told us we needed new rollers and safety cables for the springs.
I wasn't sure about the rollers though they were clearly wobbly, but the safety cables made perfect sense.
We told him about quirky problems we've had with the garage doors staying closed.
Of course the problems didn't occur during testing.
Scott returned with parts and replaced the rollers and added new safety springs.
During testing after the roller replacement, we experienced the problem that prompted us to call in the first place, namely that the garage door didn't stay closed.
After some further testing and adjustments, he concluded that the Craftsman door openers we had were too old and probably needed replacing;  he explained what could go wrong with older garage doors.    He offered to replace the openers for with no labor fee because he had missed the problem the first time around, which I thought was very professional.  He made some adjustments to forces which have had mixed results.      IMPORTANT:  He did not do a hard sell on new garage door openers, he just suggested that that was probably what was required to address the issue.
Overall service was prompt and efficient.    The safety cable installation was definitely needed, as we've experienced what happens when a spring breaks and you don't have safety cables.       At the end of the day, however,  we didn't get our problem solved for the work, but we did get some improvements to the garage doors.        We will probably replace the door openers in the spring, but they are just beyond the 10 year warranty so I didn't want to rush out and replace them.

Three Masons Professional Handyman & Masonry LLC
Based on good reviews from Angie's List, I decided to call them for various jobs around our home. John came on time for the initial appointment and we went over the list of items to be fixed. Within a few days, I got an estimate from John's office. The estimates were very reasonable compared to some I got from others and decided to go with Three Masons. Initially, they could only schedule me on Jan 21, but I requested them to accommodate me if there were any cancellations. At least, I wanted them to inspect the garage ceiling/bedroom floors for structural issues first to see if any issues.

John was able to do the inspection the weekend before Christmas, it turned out everything was ok, but we noticed there was absolutely no insulation and our bedrooms were so cold.

Luckily, John was able to do the garage ceiling insulation work on 12/27. Our bedrooms were on top of the garage and they were extremely cold. John and his crew installed blown insulation and we could feel the bedroom floors not as cold that night and the following nights - much comfortable now.

Also, John Confirmed they could do rest of the work on 12/30. That was almost a month earlier than originally scheduled. John and his crew came on time on 12/30 to start the work. Different crew members worked on multiple things over the course of two days to complete the tasks. John oversaw and provided instructions to his crew to ensure everything is done right. While they were working, I asked multiple questions on the fixes. The crew answered every one of my questions. At end of each task, they cleaned up thoroughly without any mess. While they were there, based on my request they fixed 2/3 minor things too. Overall, it was very easy to work with them and they were very friendly and professional. I'm totally satisfied with the job and I will definitely hire them for future jobs in my house.

    Len Gibely Contracting
We had big problem! A 20 year old roof that was missing shingles and rotted rake and trim boards. Also, missing clapboards on the house, some rotted windowsills and a major rot/carpenter ant problem around our garage doors. We contacted Len Gibely after reading great reviews and seeing the variety of services they offered.
They did not disappoint! Brian (owner) responded almost immediately to my request for a quote. He spent quite a bit of time and was very patient answering all questions. He wrote up an estimate that day. I contacted him in mid November and after getting a few more bids, I called on Dec 2nd to let him know we would like his company to do the job. He came back and , again answered all questions and brought sample boards of shingles. He explained they were committed to some jobs and their schedule is very weather dependent,he thought they could  start in early January.
Between snow and cold, the job was actually started on March 7,2014, we had been contacted apologizing for the delay.Between the snow and cold, I was surprised they could do it then, our yard was snow covered, snow was still on our roof. The carpenters started first on the garage, Scott (foreman) and John were friendly, pleasant to deal with and extremely particular about their work. Justin replaced clapboards and other trim boards around the house.  The garage ended up being a much bigger job than anticipated, they actually re-built the garage door wall from the ground to three quarters of the way up, new studs, Tyvek, clapboards, trim boards etc. They found an ant nest, and explained certain problems that existed due to poor construction when the house was built. We also had them replace our front steps with composite decking, this was not included in the original estimate. When the roofing crew showed up on the second day, Jeff (foreman) explained they would be shoveling the roof, tarps would be going up and they would be cleaning up any mess everyday when they were done. Brian came everyday to check in with Scott and Jeff and discuss any new details with me. Scott came and worked a full day on a Saturday when the garage repair became extensive and Jeff did as well, to work on the roof. They were great at explaining what they were doing and why. Gutters were re-aligned, that had been installed incorrectly, most of a window frame was replaced and some other trim that was rotted. Some things were added as new issues were found but, I was asked about everything.
In the end, our garage looks great and we love the look of our new roof. The only reason for B grade on price is it was expensive. That said, I do feel you get what you pay for, we don't have a basic pitched roof. We have gables, dormers, farmer's porch and lots of nooks and crannies. We had gotten cheaper quotes for the roof only but, the repairs were so involved, I could not imagine trying to co-ordinate a separate roofer and carpenter. They were meticulous about their work and clean-up. Snow and ice were still around the house, these guys were trying to pick nails out of snowbanks! Brian told me to call once they snow melted and they will come back for a final clean-up. He also had a window screen replaced that had been damaged. We are very satisfied and pleased with the work.

    Shamrock Overhead Door, Inc.
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I wouldn't highly recommend them. They finished the job, but they billed me 3 times on my credit card instead of 2 times because there was additional work and extensive was involved. The total of the whole thing after the $129 was supposed to be $412, and they billed me 3 times $212 on my credit card. I called them and left messages to their people and they said they were going to call me back. About a week ago, I said this should really be dealt with. I left a message and he finally called me back, and he said he's going to get on it and find out what happened. He was also accusing me of just saying that. I said I got my credit card bill if you want to see them. He said he could go to the credit card company and find out. That's a heck of a thing to make a deal with a customer. It took a long while for them to actually complete the job because there were so many delays, leaving the job to get other materials and finding a long time in retrieving before they could get back, and it would always require a call from me to say, Where are you? When are you going to finish this work? The job is not a 100% grade, but it's done. The issue of the extra $212 is still floating up there. The price was reasonable.
