    TKG Services LLC
Amazing results. Tom and Chris replaced a seriously aging wooden deck with a new Trex deck on the second story of our raised ranch. The work included stripping the existing deck down to the joists, replacing the supports, adding a drainage system, enclosing the underside with lighting, and custom balusters and a cocktail rail for the finishing touch. The results are outstanding; not only did they do great work on the deck, but by enclosing the underside they created a new seating space underneath protected from the rain and sun, and it's now one of our favorite spaces to entertain. TKG Services did a great job pricing, stayed on schedule, and responded to all of our questions through out the process. Tom also does a great job up front of visualizing the project and helping you understand options and features. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

    J & L Contractors
These guys did a really nice job. They were professional and communicated really well with me on questions i had for this project. The price was good and the quality of work was excellent. Typically I'm very cautious about hiring people because i don't want to get screwed but J&L communicated with me the whole way through. I've already hired them again for a the next project.

Jeff's crew, including his crew chief Bruno, were consummate professionals. They were timely, polite, friendly and did a good job of cleaning up the site after finishing work each day. The ~550 square foot patio they laid out with pavers looks fantastic - they paid attention to small details in craftsmanship while installing the granite stairway and latticework cabinet under our breezeway, and did a great job in grading the dirt and laying grass seed along the edges. There were no delays in the timeframe they gave us. The job came out much better looking than we could have anticipated and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend/neighbor.

    Len Gibely Contracting
We had big problem! A 20 year old roof that was missing shingles and rotted rake and trim boards. Also, missing clapboards on the house, some rotted windowsills and a major rot/carpenter ant problem around our garage doors. We contacted Len Gibely after reading great reviews and seeing the variety of services they offered.
They did not disappoint! Brian (owner) responded almost immediately to my request for a quote. He spent quite a bit of time and was very patient answering all questions. He wrote up an estimate that day. I contacted him in mid November and after getting a few more bids, I called on Dec 2nd to let him know we would like his company to do the job. He came back and , again answered all questions and brought sample boards of shingles. He explained they were committed to some jobs and their schedule is very weather dependent,he thought they could  start in early January.
Between snow and cold, the job was actually started on March 7,2014, we had been contacted apologizing for the delay.Between the snow and cold, I was surprised they could do it then, our yard was snow covered, snow was still on our roof. The carpenters started first on the garage, Scott (foreman) and John were friendly, pleasant to deal with and extremely particular about their work. Justin replaced clapboards and other trim boards around the house.  The garage ended up being a much bigger job than anticipated, they actually re-built the garage door wall from the ground to three quarters of the way up, new studs, Tyvek, clapboards, trim boards etc. They found an ant nest, and explained certain problems that existed due to poor construction when the house was built. We also had them replace our front steps with composite decking, this was not included in the original estimate. When the roofing crew showed up on the second day, Jeff (foreman) explained they would be shoveling the roof, tarps would be going up and they would be cleaning up any mess everyday when they were done. Brian came everyday to check in with Scott and Jeff and discuss any new details with me. Scott came and worked a full day on a Saturday when the garage repair became extensive and Jeff did as well, to work on the roof. They were great at explaining what they were doing and why. Gutters were re-aligned, that had been installed incorrectly, most of a window frame was replaced and some other trim that was rotted. Some things were added as new issues were found but, I was asked about everything.
In the end, our garage looks great and we love the look of our new roof. The only reason for B grade on price is it was expensive. That said, I do feel you get what you pay for, we don't have a basic pitched roof. We have gables, dormers, farmer's porch and lots of nooks and crannies. We had gotten cheaper quotes for the roof only but, the repairs were so involved, I could not imagine trying to co-ordinate a separate roofer and carpenter. They were meticulous about their work and clean-up. Snow and ice were still around the house, these guys were trying to pick nails out of snowbanks! Brian told me to call once they snow melted and they will come back for a final clean-up. He also had a window screen replaced that had been damaged. We are very satisfied and pleased with the work.

    Silverio Construction Co
All work performed was done in a professional manner and exceeded my expectations for quality and timing. Our previous home and all of our belongings were lost in a fire . We occupied a trailer in the driveway while the house was constructed and Jack Silverio and his associate Cathy Pepe were very determined to get us into our new home by Christmas and out of the trailer! There was never a delay between contractors coming in and on many occasions we had people working on it on Sundays, evenings, and even in the pouring rain! I was very impressed with the quality of work and the attention of both Jack and Cathy to insure that all work was done correctly and that the project was kept on schedule. When it came time to construct the garage, I did not hesitate in hiring them to do that as well and did not even attempt to entertain alternative quotes based on the quality and professionalism of the house project. I would highly recommend them for any construction project from a complete house to an exterior deck. Me and my wife could not be more pleased with the final results of both the house and the garage. The entire process was a very pleasant experience and I felt that we not only go the house of our dreams but some very dear friends as well. Thank You!!

    Bay State Handyman Plus
My experience with Al and his crew from Bay State was really good. He returned all phone calls promptly and even ramped up his schedule to accomodate us.
The first estimate which included everything was over our budget , so Al happily went over each item with us and we eventually decided on our priorities. We knew the back second floor porch needed some work but while checking it out to evaluate the actual condition it was discovered that the subflooring had a hole in it that you could put a size 12 foot through. On our return to see how things were progressing we were absolutely delighted to see how he had rebuilt that drab back porch to an attractive safe and well built structure. He replaced the outdated medicine chest in the bathroom which had a builtin light fixture with a new oak cabinet which did not have a built in light. I remember stopping by one day to look at the new cabinet before it was installed. Andy, one of the crew explained to me that the that because of the way the back of the new cabinet was made it would have to be mounted on the wall in such a way that would be pretty unattractive. Not only that but it could not accomodate a light because of the position of the existing wall outlet.

From day one, I knew I made the right decision. Nick’s attention to detail and quality of work really impressed me (I also went to look at some previous work that he had completed) Nick gave me good advice and looked after all the permits etc. The basement looks great and now he is planning a huge deck for me. I would totally recommend him!
