Thye just go out and spend half an hour. I will use them until I retire. It also depends on who you pair up with. My dog likes this person as well. You don't have to worry because they're bonded and insured which is the main thing. The key thing is, she has a key to my house, so she comes in every day. I've been doing this several months now. She knows her well enough that she texted me one day at work and told me she didn't like the way that she looked and took her to the vet.

We have been part of the Canine Magic family for about 8 weeks now and it has been tremendous. We bought the Ultimate Training Package with 3 semi-private sessions and 4 months of group sessions plus an e-collar. Our dog is tremendously improved -- night and day. He is calm, manageable and making progress daily. The group sessions are fun and instructive. The other students, many who have been with Terry and Mike for several years (many have worked with them on other dogs as well) are simply wonderful. Funny, warm and encouraging. We are delighted with the program and feel grateful to have Terry and Mike and the Canine Magic family to call our home.

It was a first-time professional grooming for my little Yorkie, and I was a little nervous about how it would go. From the moment I first arrived, I felt very welcome and they were very sweet and caring to my dog. I knew he was in good hands. I stayed and waited around a while during the time they had him back there for the grooming, and although they didn't have to, they kept communication going with me about how he was doing. At the end, he came out looking absolutely adorable in his new summer cut. In their experienced hands, and their patient loving attitude towards my dog, they were able to accomplish a lot I was never able to do before in an at-home grooming. I was truly amazed. Love these guys, and will definitely be taking my dog back soon.

Jennifer came and spent over an hour with Jake and I and taught him how to "leave it"  She also taught me what to do when he started his naughty h****** behavior and how to reward for good behaviors.  This helped tremendously and his naught behavior became less frequent.  He was recently adopted into his forever home.

I brought my dog - a Sheltie to Dr. Michael Aronson (not sure about the spelling of his last name) at Angel Memorial Hospital located at S. Hunnington Ave. He was labeled as a 'Canine Dentistry Specialist'. This was a disaster - and my dog died as a result! Horrible!!
My Sheltie was (still is) precious to me - she as 15 at the time and her teeth needed a good cleaning.
Her primary care veterinarian suggested that I bring her to a specialist given her age and concerns.
I did Not live anywhere near Angel - but I brought her in and they said I had to leave her.
When I picked her up - she clearly had been traumatized, was missing teeth and bleeding some from the mouth.
I was instructed to bring her home and let her rest.
After a couple of days - she was still 'resting' and not very responsive.
My calls to Angel and "Dr" Michael Aronson went UNreturned!!
I contacted her vet - and ended up placing her at a veterinary emergency center in Wakefield.
My dog had been OVER anesthetized by Michal Aronson - who tried to blame me for HIS malpractice.
The emergency center kept her for days - rehydrate her and explained the malpractice caused a fluid build up on her Heart.
---- And this could not be corrected, treated or operated on. I was told time with her was running out - to take her home make
her comfortable - and try to appreciate what time was left with her.
She died within a couple of weeks and this 'doctor' was on the sociopathic side - with NO sign of remorse.
Angel Memorial was also UNinterested about what had transpired - and Disinterested in preventing this happening to other pets at the hands of this incompetent.
I reported this to some place in Grafton Ma - but turned out they only mediate - and have no power.
So I reported him on his doctor's license with the Board or Review in Boston.
They did NOT disclose until the date of his hearing that he too was a member of this very board!! : (
After I presented clear evidence of his causing my dog's death - they were trying to dismiss it. - Then they claimed
I would need all the vets who saw and treated my dog after and Before her procedure to testify.
I was unaware and shocked to learn that ALL three were present - her primary - and the others from the emergency center --- and they all DID testify against him!!
Yet the board swept it under the rug - NO justice - and at the time - he continued on in his practice.
This was back in May/June 1990.

I wouldn't bring a pet to "Dr" Michael Aronson - to have it euthanized!! I wish there were a rating BELOW an "F" - I would give it here!
--- And I have ZERO respect for Angel Memorial!!

To note: I attempted to hire a lawyer to sue this butcher - but I spoke with experts - and animals - legally were not considered a living breathing irreplaceable create and part of a family.
They were considered an 'object' - an item - and the most damages that could be sought were 'replacement costs'.
I'm sadly sure - it's probably the same way today. I have NO idea how or who could change this. - Maybe you?!

You cannot find a more fabulous group of people like them. I have seen there every single doctor, and I know almost all of their health staff and doctors. Everybody cares about your animal. You are the center of their attention if you are there. They handle crisis very well. I had one with my cat, and spent much time with us, because we needed to make up our mind on what to do about the crisis. They did not give us any pressure. They keep their prices low. Every deal we had with them were excellent. They are way better than anybody else that we have used. There is nothing that I do not like about them.

Finding and working with Terry was a the best thing we could have done as far as dog ownership was concerned.  We had a difficult to control 7 month old puppy who was taking over our lives with her chewing, mouthing, house breaking (or lack thereof), jumping up on the kids, chasing the cat, not coming when called, and basically doing whatever she felt like whenever she felt like it.  I felt we had no leverage over her to get her to do what we wanted despite trying commands, food rewards, etc....  Food rewards were not working as she was not food motivated when other stimuli were present.  At my wit's end, I signed up for Angie's List and typed in "Dog training" and found Terry.  I liked what I read, went to her website, and decided to contact her.  I was a little taken aback by the price of the training but noticed that it was comparable to other trainers.  She was extremely responsive, called me back immediately and we set up an initial consultation with our dog so we could meet her and get a feel for her and her approach.  We liked her immediately as she was warm, personable, confident around us and our dog, and very efficient and helpful in explaining how she worked and why.  We left knowing we would commit to the 3 session program.  The first session is mostly informational which is crucial in the education process as the tool she uses (e-collar) to train the dogs needs to be understood and used responsibly.  She took the time to explain how it works and how to use it before putting it on our dogs.  At the end of the session, we each learned 2 different commands on our dogs, and it worked like magic.  We went home with the task of practicing our 2 commands for the next week until the next session.  Because we were communicating to our dog in a way she understood, with just the right amount of stimuli to get her attention, we literally had a different dog from one day to the next.  She immediately understood that we were the alphas in charge and she stopped mouthing us and chewing what we didn't want her to chew, stopped jumping on the kids and chasing the cat (we also have a much happier and relaxed cat now!).  Knowing someone was in charge and had the capability to reinforce the simple commands made our dog understand her place and her behavior has been terrific ever since.  After three sessions and more commands, we now have a fully manageable dog and one we actually enjoy having with us at all times. We bring her with us everywhere knowing she will behave appropriately and that we can fully control her around both people and other dogs.  It was worth every penny of the price of the sessions and has made us very happy dog owners.  I could not recommend Terry highly enough.

They are great. They do a really good job and have been right there for us. The people are nice. The tech works well with the doctor. The facility is clean and nice and they keep after it pretty well. We will keep using them.

Tony is awesome. When I contacted him I had just adopted two 4-month old puppies, the first dogs I've ever owned by myself. Tony presented himself very professionally at the initial consultation and established an immediate rapport with my dogs. I get a handwritten report of Tony's visit every day. He keeps an eye out for anything out of the ordinary that could indicate a health problem. I have asked for his advice as a new dog owner and he has been happy to give it. Training sessions with Tony are great. He really knows how to get dogs to respond and how to show me the correct ways to train the dogs. I would recommend Tony to anyone who asks.

This is the second time we have used Steven's services and it will not be the last time. Our dogs are much more comfortable at home and we were comfortable knowing that Steven and Karin were taking good care of them.
