    Joe O'Connell Electrical Services
Everything went perfectly I'm confident that my house is at or excesses code making it much safer and a lot less to deal with when the time comes to sell. Also Joe and his helper Frankie are both very pleasant and respectable we were very comfortable having them in our house,if the situation had arose I'd of had no concerns about loaning them a key if we couldn't be home on a day the were scheduled

    Robert Pagliuca Master Electrician
Rob rewired parts of our kitchen and living room to accommodate layout changes and a garbage disposal. Rob and his assistant Vinny were on-time, professional, and got the job done right. The work was certainly not cheap, but the result was high quality - I would hire again.

Excellent! Ray arrived and installed the Bluetooth bathroom fan in a neat timely, professional manner! I thought Id be left with a mess because so much insulation came out of the ceiling! He left everything perfectly clean and my kids are THRILLED to have music in the shower! Great guy, would highly recommend.

    HOMEPROS Construction & Remodeling
I contacted five different contractors and only three were willing to come to do the estimate. Among the three contractors who came, one never gave me the estimate despite repeated emails and messages, and the second contractor who came reluctantly gave me an estimate that was so ridiculously inflated that we simply could not afford it. Randy was the only contractor who was responsive and professional, and was very honest with his estimate and most importantly willing to work with us to make our budget to work for our project. The project went well, although it started later than all of us expected due to scheduling issue, but the entire project was completed pretty much on-time still. Randy is a very talented plumber, he was able to somehow connect the plumbing in our tiny new bathroom with very little space to work with. The team did a great job for tiling the bathroom floors, both bathrooms look great. I still do not know how they managed to put the new bath tub and shower unit in so perfectly in the tight spaces, I am just glad that they are good at it. They also gave us good ideas how to maximize our limited space, for example by installing a recessed mirror/medicine cabinet. We now have two tidy and functioning full baths that look great, thanks to the HomePros Construction Team.

    Great Sky Solar
I honestly can't say enough good things about working with Great Sky. They carefully talked us through the process, discussed the pros and cons of various options, explained the reasoning behind all their recommendations, and basically held our hands the entire time. The installation was fast and unobtrusive, the array is great, and when the bank we were working with got bogged down over the holidays, Great Sky was patient and understanding about the delay. I've privately recommended them to a number of friends, so now I'm doing it publicly. They're a great company, and they have really worthy goals for sustainability and environmental progress. I can't imagine why you'd go through anyone else.

    Tendai Furusa Electrician
Tee from Tendai Furusa Electrician was really great to work with. From the get go, he was very responsive to my inquiries through Angie's list and quick to schedule a time to take a look and provide us an estimate. He came out with his colleague and took a look at our needs and offered some suggestions. He got us an estimate the very next day. We purchased the fixtures and Tee purchased the light switches and the flood light. After the estimate, he scheduled a time to come out to do the job with his colleague. He was prompt and on time and the work that was completed was excellent. It is so nice to have all the lights working again. We have some additional work to be done and will definitely be contacting Tee again for all of our electrical needs. Some of the folks I contacted could not even bother to come out to take a look. Tee was awesome. You can tell he is busy, but still took the time to provide excellent customer service. If you need some work done, I would definitely recommend Tendai Furusa!

    SunBug Solar
Website As a web developer, I have to say that the SunBug Solar website is very clean, well thought out and informative. There was only one area I thought they should change and that was on their companion site SunWatchMeter. As of this writing, they have ceased providing this service to new clients, and therefore should not be promoting this on their website. Rather, they should be using samples from their partner SolarEdge, which is the company they now use for web-based monitoring. Too bad, though. SunBug's product was much nicer looking and showed generation vs. consumption. The SolarEdge does what it needs to, though, but it wouldn't hurt making its design similar to their in-house version. Also I would really like to change the installation photo they used, it was taken on a gloomy day and doesn't really show off the panels or the installation well. Lastly, the SunWatch Meter allows guest users to view the production meter, but apparently you can't with SolarEdge. Sales/Evaluation I filled out a form online and they contacted me promptly about setting up an evaluation. Mike Ozog was the sales person, and I could tell from listening to him that he was enthusiastic in regards solar energy as well as SunBug the company. He explained the whole process, was patient with my questions and never once did I feel I was being pushed or led to commit to anything. He checked my downstairs, attic and roof to make sure there were no potential problems and did a shade projection based on our roof's orientation and surrounding structures/trees. Installation Bakhu and his team were scheduled later in November, but we were lucky and someone cancelled their install and they showed up the very next week. The work was completed professionally in two days. Bakhu made sure that I was kept informed of the process. Also I want to give special nod to the electrician who came up with the perfect location for the inverter which kept it out of site and produced the least noise, we never would have considered it. There was one miscommunication regarding the documents which were to have been left in my mailbox after the install. They weren't and there was a little confusion on my part as to whether I needed to get them prior to the electrical inspection by National Grid. But no worries, Matthew brought the papers with him and the inspector was very impressed with the work they had done and signed off without complaint. Nice job! Commissioning Mike came back to close the deal, bringing us a packet of brochures and warranties that covered the components of the entire system. We went over few more questions and also discussed SRECs and the business of selling them. We signed up with SRECTrade and now just need an energy audit from MassSave which we scheduled in early January to finish off the application. Unfortunately, I wasn't made aware of that earlier in the process, which would have allowed me to schedule it sooner.

    JP O'Brien Electric LLP
I  contacted JP O'Brien via e-mail in October 2015 to get an estimate on a small electrical job in our home.  It took 4 days for Joseph to respond to my note but he did and we scheduled a time for about 5 days later for him to come out and take a look.  He did come to take a look quickly and told us he would get back in touch with an estimate.  We never heard back from him again.  I followed up with a note with no response.  It would have been fine if he could have sent a quick note to let us know he would not be able to do the job.  I assumed our job was too small.  From a customer service standpoint, all it would have taken was an honest and brief response.  Very unfortunate as the reviews for this vendor were really high and this is why I had chosen them.

    Peace of Mind Home Improvements

Pierre and his crew (Frank and Richard) are our local Holmes on homes - (a contractor on TV that corrects any and all problems he comes across when correcting what another contractor has done).  Pierre and his employees take great pride in their work..   He made our outdated, blah kitchen our dream kitchen.

Each step of construction was explained and reviewed.  If there were problems, and there were some that could not be anticipated the problem was explained and the solution provided.

Each job that was performed was completed correctly. Unlike previous contractors we've used.  His job completion was timely and his work impeccable.  We have a small  dog that thinks anything on the floor is edible.  Which was a huge concern for us.  Each and every day the work area was cleaned of all debris and his tools and materials stacked neatly out of our way.

Pierre's contractors for plumbing, heating and ventilation were all professionals as well.  When our kitchen was complete he had a lovely lady come in and clean our kitchen.  Just another testament to Pierre's desire to do the right thing.

Would we use Peace of Mind Home Improvement again?  YES!  Would we recommend Pierre Garand and his crew to friends and family?  ABSOLUTELY!  He is a gem in a field of thieves.  His integrity and respect for others is phenomenal.

He's actually going to refinish our hardwood floors and do some other projects in the Fall.
