Galizia Masonry in my opinion is the gold standard in customer service and work performed. Firstly, every phone call and text were promptly returned. Pietro was right on time with every scheduled phone call, assessment visits and scheduled work. The scope of work for each project was thoroughly explained and changes were easily made on the fly based on our needs and their suggestions. Mario and Pietro were patient with our questions saying how important it was to make us happy. Regarding the work on the stairway, I noticed after a couple days that a small mortar joint needed more attention. Pietro and Tino returned the next day after their regularly scheduled job and took care if it. Regarding the brick walkway, there were questions about the design due to irregularities with the landscape. Mario would constantly check in with us to show what the options would look like. We ended up switching some materials and Mario and Pietro continually called us out to make sure we approved. Each project was completed on time and only with our assurance that we were completely satisfied. They were respectful of our property and left each day with everything neatly in order.

Of 3 contractors selected from Angie's List for consideration only Charles visited prior to providing an estimate. The others based their bids on only photographs. During the initial visit Charles provided a detailed assessment of what was wrong and options for repair, as well as answering all questions. I immediately felt like Charles was someone I could work with. Charles made a second visit the day before the scheduled start to measure a second time. When the day came to do the job, Charles was punctual, personally on-site with 2 assistants. Work completed efficiently, with attention to detail, and the cleanup was like they'd never been there. Strongly recommended.

2 years later, the oven started cracking. It is currently unusable. We asked him to come and take a look at the damage, and he refused to admit that he had ever done the job. He agreed to come out and look at it, but then never showed up. We called him, and he said he wasn't coming. Then he suggested that it was his brother who fraudulently used the company name and did the work, not him. We have the cancelled checks to prove that work was done.

Joey and Sean did a fabulous job working on our house. Their attention to detail was outstanding. They were easy to talk to as well. They found holes in our fieldstone foundation when they removed our deck boards. They filled in all the holes. The best part was no further water seepage into our basement after the repair. Very pleased and will definitely use again in future projects.

Contractor missed the Saturday appointment. I called the contractor that morning, after the scheduled time to see if he was running late, to give him the benefit of the doubt, and left a message.
Contractor did not catch up to me until 9/14 and apologized for missing the appointment and asked to schedule another appointment, which I declined.

Jim was very professional and pleasant. He was responsive to all of my emails before the job started and was dependable. His portion of the job went well and was completed within a single week, as he stated. When I emailed him about a couple of minor issues, a few weeks after the work was completed, he responded quickly and showed up to address them within the time-frame he promised. I'm happy with the end result since my steps look great and I paid less than other masons quoted.
My only complaint is I also needed some carpentry work because of some wood rot on the house. Jim brought in a carpenter to perform the work who was less dependable. He deceived me at the end of his first day, by stating the work was finished in order to get paid in full, when that wasn't the case. Then he actually cancelled on me six times before completing the job. I let Jim know about this when he returned recently to make him aware.
Note: My A ratings are only for Jim and the cost of service includes the carpentry work.

John, Troy, and the team from All Under One Roof are excellent. We are very happy with the outcome of the work and got compliments from all the neighbors about how much of an improvement it was for the curb appeal of our house. During the quote process John and Troy's attention to detail was great and they pointed out things that needed to be done that other contractors didn't - such as replacing the gutters to look "new" along with the siding - so there were no hidden surprises in the project cost. The team worked in a professional manner, and were all nice guys who were on time each day and did their best to not disrupt our day to day lives. The project finished on time and at exactly the cost John and Troy quoted, and we are very happy with the work, so we would recommend All Under One Roof without reservations.

Repairs came out well.  However, there was mortar wash left in my driveway and mortar remnants were left on the finished part of the chimney on the inside of the house. Price was good, quality was good, however the clean up was terrible.

Excellent job all the way around. Ray Martineau is a stone mason with 30 plus years of experience. He transformed a 30' rock wall along my driveway from an eyesore to a eye-catching stunner using Pennsylvania thin stones along with existing fieldstones to create the perfect blend. He added the same PA thin to my circular flower garden. Best of all, he installed a new 35' X 15' backyard patio using Unilock pavers. Our neighbors, delivery folks, and our mailman all say it looks great.
