Electrician reviews in North Andover

All went according to plan. E/R recommended what fixtures we should purchase based upon room size, usage, etc. We purchased the fixtures from Amazon and E/R installed them all within a few hours. The E/R crew gave us an updated ETA during the install date, arrived when they said they would (within a reasonable allowance for traffic, slight delays at a previous job, etc), and kept us apprised of their status all along the way. The installation went fine -- clearly a little more difficult than E/R had anticipated because of the way the original builder had installed the original fixtures, but no complaints on their part and no price changes. Everything worked the first time -- no rework required. Also, E/R did a great job keeping the work area neat and cleaning up after they were done -- we didn't need to follow them around and vacuum or anything. We intend to utilize E/R's services again whenever we need electricians.

Chase helped out installing an electrical hot water tank. Rich is a true professional. He's honest and reliable. He helped not only install the proper electrical to support the hot water tank but connected us with a plumber as well. We are also working with him on installing a generator. He takes the time to explain options as well as discuss the pros and cons of each option. Highly recommend!

Have you hugged your electrician today? Neither have I, actually (hes happily married), but hes so AWESOME that I want to. Mike installed several light fixtures and ceiling fans for me, upgraded my existing smoke and CO detectors to current standards, installed heat detectors in my garage, and installed smoke/CO detectors in my bedrooms where there werent any. Some of this work was not easy given the way the house was built. Mike took extra care to come up with a creative solution to install the heat detectors that took him longer than expected but required minimal drilling of holes in the ceiling. And when he left, the rooms where he worked were cleaner than when he arrived. His original written estimate which was very fair and reasonable -- was the price I paid for the work, even though it took him longer to finish than I think he originally expected. Mike is professional, polite, and he fixes it right the first time. Im delighted to have found an electrician with integrity whom I trust implicitly to do the job right at a fair price. Ill be using him for all my electrical projects you should too!

Sunbug was recommended to me by a friend who previously used them. I selected multiple vendors to provide bids. Sunbug was the first company I worked with and they were very informative, responsive, and professional. They ultimately won the bid and performed the work. The entire team continued with prompt, professional service. We were fortunate to have a spot open up and installation occurred faster than expected. The install team made sure that my concerns and wishes were met and they did a fantastic job with no exposed conduit or wiring. They were able to use internal existing pathways to run wires from the attic to the basement. Overall, a super clean installation inside and out. The addition of critter guards made the installation even more aesthetically appealing. I highly recommend using Sunbug for you solar installation.

The recessed lights were not installed properly and he later tells me he had never installed a 'Fantech' shower fan before, so he complained about it and took a much longer time to install. The recessed lights were not seated properly and there was an obvious gap between the bulb and the trim of the fixture. When I tried to pull the fixture down to the ceiling line, it was very loose and had not been anchored properly to the rafters in the attic. He also pulled out all the insulation in the attic and never replaced it, leaving a mess. I called Mr. DiGrazia to come back to correct the problem which he agreed to do. He does not return phone calls, so you have to keep tracking him down. He did not show up for the appt. we had set and after I left several voicemails which he did not return, he later told me he forgot all about it. He said he would call me back the following week to come over and he never did. I had to call him yet again. After finally setting up another appt., he failed to show up on time and never called to say he would be late. He was rude when I called to see if he was coming and hung up on me. He showed up over an hour and half later at dinner time and was obviously ****** at me. He looked at the problem and said "You called me back for this?" in a very sarcastic voice. He refused to acknowledge the problem and was unable to rectify in the attic so he came down and put 2 screws right through the can itself to hold it in place at the ceiling line. Not professional at all. He still would not admit that he did not install it properly. He never replaced the insulation as I requested and upon later changing the bulbs the second recessed light unit popped right up into the attic as it was not fastened to the rafter. After having been a naive repeat customer over the years and paid him thousands of dollars for jobs, I was appalled that he would treat me this way. His pattern is to never do things right the first time, overcharging for his time and materials and needing to be called back. He then acts like he is doing you a favor to fix "his" mistakes and lack of attention to detail. Once he even charged me for his return time which I am embarassed to say I stupidly paid to avoid a confrontation. Completely my fault for always giving him the benefit of the doubt and being too nice, but this was the last straw!!! If a contractor is going to argue with you to defend substandard work, he is not someone you want working on your home. Mr. DiGrazia deceptively presents as a nice polite guy initially to get your business but it then becomes obvious that he is quite arrogant, condescending and untrustworthy. When I finally told him I will NEVER hire him again, he could have cared less! I know that this is not just my experience because a friend of mine used him for a major kitchen remodel and was also very disatisfied, stating that he doubled the price he quoted in the intial estimate, after the work was already in progress, gave her a hard time about meeting her specifications and blamed her for damaging her finished walls by cutting holes in the wrong places. Don't be stupid like I was and put up with this very unprofessional and immature behavior. Thankfully, he is not approved for Angie's List and never should be!

It went well. Beth was great to work with and was very professional and responsive. My only comment was that it felt like the price was a tad bit high. Admittedly, I didn't get multiple quotes, so the pricing may very well have been right on.

So many other electricians are busy doing larger jobs - new builds. Glen was responsive, showed up when he said he would, completed the work in a timely manner and did it well. He is very personable and willing to work alongside the homeowner if a job requires it. He is also very flexible with times. Will use him again.

Michael was prompt and professional in the service he provided. He completed the project on time over the course of 2-3 work days and the work looks great. The panel is now wired much more cleanly and looks like a professional job. Michael also left his work area clean at the end of every day and called to give a detailed update of progress. We haven't had any electrical issues since.

We had to get an outlet installed very quickly at short notice for a sump pump. We contacted Juba through email and phone on a Sunday and he answered back immediately the next day. he scheduled the visit at a short notice and did the work very professionally. He was very polite and courteous and did the work very quickly and with great quality. We would hire him for all electrical work in the future.

Great! Michael was referred by my neighbor, best referral I ever got. Came over on a Monday and work was competed on Wednesday of the same week. Great work, Professional, reasonable price, Honest (in fact I gave him the key to my home, meeting him only once). When I got home, the work was completed and it looked like nobody was even there. Love this Guy!! Yes, I would recommend him to anybody looking for an electrician and I will hire him again.
