Appliance Repair reviews in North Andover

I ended up hiring the service company my appliance dealer is affiliated with, but Northeast was very responsive to my online inquiry. If I do not have a good experience with the company I hired I will definitely reach out to Northeast.

Wayne came out the same day. He arrived promptly and was very courteous. He told us what was needed before going ahead with the repair. The cost for the parts and service was fair. We were thrilled with his work and would recommend him without reservation.

Refridgerator/Freezer stopped cooling but the lights still worked. Brian pulled the fridge out from the cabinet space and took a look at the electrical boards and saw one was singed. He replaced the board and voila, everything is back to normal. Job well done. Only ding is the price was a bit steep as the board was $180 and the time spent was 1 hour. From the receipt, it looks like he charged $75 for labor and $75 for travel time. Not sure if the cost to commute (15 miles) to the job site is customary. But I'm happy to have my fridge back and avoiding the time/trouble of buying a new one.

Paul was quick to respond to my call and to find time to come by my house. Our front load washer had stopped working and was throwing error codes and unable to complete a wash. Paul performed an initial diagnosis and tried some simple repairs that didn't immediately work. Based on the age of the washer and expected lifespan, he suggested that it would not make sense to spend ~$200 or so to repair the washer when it would likely not extend the life of the machine very long. I definitely appreciated his honesty here! He was then able to make some recommendations about the best types of new machines to look into and where to find a dealer with good pricing (he does not do sales himself). Thanks, Paul!

They're horrible. Sears has a very horrible customer service repair system. We took two months for processing. They're finally having to replace our refrigerator which was brand new because they can't seem to get the parts together to repair it. There's no cost. In the end, we're getting the best result but just to get here was a nightmare. The prices were good.

He told me it was not worth repairing and would tell me that now than after his repairman came out and charged me the service fee. I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism this company displayed and would highly recommend them.

After determining, what was wrong and what parts were needed, parts were ordered and service scheduled for the following day. Wayne's son came the next day, was knowledgeable, professional and very easy to talk to.  Service was performed on gas stove quickly and appliance is fixed.  Turned out the gas dryer part that was ordered was not the part needed for the error code given.  Technician cleaned the unit and checked all connections to make sure the dryer was in working order when he left.  He informed me that if the error code happens again (have used the unit 2-3 times since without incident), I would need to replace the user interface part which costs about $150.  All in all I was pleased with the service and will definitely use A & M again.  Very good experience and nice people.

They are simply very good. They have one particular serviceperson, Bobby, who they send, who is just excellent!

I love their punctuality. If they are going to be held up for any reason, they call and let you know.

The two guys from A&M came over and without any problem, fixed my washing machine.  They had been here previously to fix my microwave and I had good luck with them then so I called them back to fix the washing machine.  They were great - fixed it - very reasonable with the price.  I have since purchased a new washer and dryer set from them and I am very happy with it.

Without knowing anything about my particular installation other than that it had been done 2 years ago, provider stated that my Miele dishwasher's reports of drain problems couldn't possibly due to the plumbing.  Of course Miele repairman said just the opposite.  I'm left holding the bag.  I also asked about fixing a water cutoff valve (Watts Intelliflow) that had failed.  This would involve both electrical and plumbing, which providers advertising implied would not be a problem, but provider said that it would take too long for him to figure it out and that he was too busy.  Call someone else.  Again I was left holding the bag.
