Nothing touched it, it is under a covered porch we do not even need to shovel .. wish I could attach pictures here!! Good Afternoon, I had your company come out in May, 2015 to reface my home with a stucco product that was told to me was covered by a ten year manufacturer’s warranty. I called a couple of weeks ago to schedule a minor repair of bubbling / chipping stucco beneath a side door. **Please see attached pictures, as well as copy of contract**. You referred me back to the salesman, Gary Kiosk, who originally sold us on the project. At the time of sale, he stated that there was a 10 year warranty on the product, so I thought this minor repair would be a non-issue. In addition to the repair, which I assumed would be of no cost to us, I indicated that at this time we would be interested in pursuing the brick facing of the front and side steps, (for which we previously received an estimate but did not have done at the time of the original project 2 years ago). Gary had asked me for a copy of the warranty, which I do not have in my possession, and was never sent to me. I have not heard back from Gary after our last text this morning ( my husband also called him and left a message), so I am reaching out to someone else in the company who could possibly expedite the follow up on the status of my repair, as well as the additional project I am interested in pursuing.. I would greatly appreciate a call back. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.. REPLY FROM NEW ENGLAND BRICKMASTER: Very cute note! Apologize for my lack of continued texting, I was driving and then in appointments with no access to any of your paperwork from 2 years ago. A 1/2 hour ago I actually did pull over and text you requesting Jay call me back due to his number not registering on my phone. Just walked in , haven't heard back yet. Please find my email dated 5/13/15. 2nd paragraph clearly states how you get the warranty. The last sentence requests that you forward me a copy for my records. I'm very surprised I never heard back from you when you never received it! I also have an email dated 6/18/15 submitting a Warranty Request for your project. The Supplier dropped the ball, never submitted it. I called the Manufacturer directly, spoke to the Warranty Dept, discussed my issue & discussed yours as well. They explained the Product Warranty is for product failure. I enlarged the pictures for clearer review. Unless the product is peeling on parts of the actual house, it really looks like a man-made issue! Top stair, shoveling snow, scraped the coating off? Kind of like buying a car, backing into a pole, and stating the paint is peeling? I've been instructed to forward your pictures to the Warranty Dept at Dryvit. There an Engineer will determine whether or not it is a Warranty issue. In the meantime, I'll submit your info to get the ball rolling for your written Warranty. More details to follow.   • DM Storrs provided great service, Tim was professional, did a thorough job on he requested repairs and was also neat and clean up after the work was performed. I would recommend this company and will use them going forward for routine maintenance.

  • This was the second company we called to inspect our chimney and fireplace to make sure we were ok to use it (we just bought our house and didn't want to take any chances). The first company spent very little time, didn't even get up on the roof to look at the flues/chimney from above, charged us an arm and a leg to vaccuum one flue, and then quoted us an exorbitant amount to "replace 2 out of the 3 flues", which was apparently an "immediate need". This didn't even include masonry, which the first company claimed they don't do.
    So, we called DM Storrs for a second opinion. They were professional and helpful. They got out ladders and actually inspected the chimney from top to bottom. They cleaned our woodburning flue and charged much less for that than the first company. They told us that our main oil flue was worn, but perfectly ok to use for at least a few more years. They inspected our woodburning flue and said they'd suggest extending the liner but that it was acceptable to use. They quote they gave us was half the cost of the first company and they didn't use scare tactics.
    They also do their own masonry work, which not all chimney sweep companies seem to do, which seems kinda crazy since they are so intertwined! They were also able to give us an estimate to repoint our chimney, which we know we need to do in the next 1-2 years.
    The quote they gave us for both the flues and the chimney were still less than the first company estimated for just the flues!
    If you want a professional and ethical chimney company, you should choose DM Storrs.

  • Matt did an excellent job of giving good design advise upfront and I went with his recomendations.  I received a detailed quote very quickly after our first weeting.  His team arrived to start the work on the scheduled day.  The work was completed exaclty as detailed on the quote and on time.  The quality of the work and level of finish is excellent.  The work site was cleaned up after the worrk was complete and everything was left in good conition.  Overall I'm a very satisifed customer.

  • This was one of the best experiences that we have ever had with a contractor.  From start to finish John was courteous, responsive, and totally committed.  We gave him a photograph of the walkway that we would like to have him build and he delivered.  He initially made some suggestions about the width and the contours and we agreed.  His quote for the work was very good and we accepted it without question.  He also did a few extra things after the quote, like putting a conduit pipe under the walkway, at no extra charge.  Once the work was started he came every day until it was completed.  The finished walkway was beautiful.  The quality and craftsmanship was more than we hoped for.  It was great to have someone like John doing the work.  He took care of everything including a good cleanup.  It was worry free and we would definitely seek him out for our next job.

  • We were looking for a turn-key contractor for our backyard, and were very happy we found Bob at Naturescapes.  He did a great job transforming out backyard into a basketball court and entertaining area.  He installed a retaining wall to split the yard into an upper and lower level.  The upper level now has a 25 x 20 patio and the lower level has a great basketball court.  The final result is great and we are very happy with the work.
