    Drycrete Waterproofing
We shopped around for a company to install a full perimeter drain for our 130 year old home with field stone foundation after unexpectedly learning our "finished" basement had no waterproofing done beforehand and was a wet, moldy mess. Immediately after contacting Jason we felt much more comfortable working with Dry Crete than its chain competitors. It was obvious in our initial phone conversation that Jason was very knowledgable about waterproofing and that was confirmed upon meeting him and receiving a proposal. Jason directly runs the job from beginning to end and communication was great. He answered any questions immediately and thoroughly, offered to put us in touch with past clients who own similar homes, showed up on the scheduled day and worked with his crew the entire time. Our old house inevitably provided a few surprises on the day of the job (no fault of Dry Crete) and Jason and his crew went above and beyond to remedy any issues and keep the job moving along and ultimately finished on time and at the quoted price. Overall Jason's professionalism and demeanor made this unexpected and potentially stressful project much easier on us and we highly recommend Dry Crete.

    Done Right Services
Jeremy is truly fantastic. We recently purchased a house that was originally built in the 1890s, so we've been interacting with a number of top-rated service providers on Angie's List across different specialties. Even among top-rated providers, his customer focus and expertise stands out.
After I sent Jeremy our inspection report, he spent about twenty minutes on the phone with me talking through the different concerns. He made cost-saving recommendations (e.g., purchase our own dehumidifier and install it - he gave a brand and model recommendation), made a referral to fix our bulk head, and offered to come out and take a look at the other issues I had raised, including taking a look at one of our three sump pumps that was not working.
My husband met Jeremy on site and was really impressed with his knowledge and how willing he was to share his expertise. He walked around our property with my husband, educating him on drainage, and checked out the sump pumps in the basement. Jeremy made observations about what the uncommunicative seller had in place that another top-rated basement provider on
Angie's List had missed (and the other person had quoted us $8,000 to install a French drain, when it was not needed). It also turned out that our sump pump was not broken - the electrical outlet was.
Jeremy did not charge us for any of this, but we will be sending him a check regardless, because he gave us so much value. If we have any issues with water in our basement, Jeremy will be the person we call.

    New England Bulkhead
I had an existing bulkhead and then had a stone patio installed.  The installation of the patio left a trough in front of the bulkhead and resulted in water pooling and draining into the basement during rainstorms.

I called New England Bulkhead to install a new bulkhead on a concrete footing that was above ground level to eliminate the trough.  Henry came out promptly to estimate.  We scheduled and rescheduled (due to rainy weather) and Henry accomodated each change.  He said it would take parts of two days:  first to pour footing, second to install bulkhead.  He and Lonnie were right on time both days.  Work very professional.  Cleanup complete.  A piston hinge on the bulkhead door was faulty and needed to be replaced....Henry back in two days with replacement part.  Bulkhead works fine.  I would use them again and recommend to anyone.

They originally sent a guy to do an estimate. He stated he would send us a report of what he found along with the cost. We never received that report. Now they call us all the time and tell us that they can beat the price on the report we never received. I have repeatedly asked them to quit calling me. I am not happy with the deal or the service.

    Value Dry
He came and went to work, performing measurements and explaining his plans for my basement. He gave me an estimate for $7700.00 to do the work (which was about 4 times as high as everyone else for what seemed to be the same fix to my problem). I asked him to provide an itemized quote so I could understand what the difference in cost was for, and he said he wouldn't do that until I signed a service contract. I told him to get out.  Also, the "fix" that he provided didn't actually fix anything, but merely isolated the leak and pumped off the collected water.

    B-Dry System M/E Inc
not only were they very professional....they were very nice...answering all my questions and even helping me outside to see the drainage system...my house is on a rock ledge and it took many hours to drill the ditch....they were very meticulous about keeping everything as clean as possible by using drop cloths over stairwells and over furniture and even over my car in our attached garage...i am a fussy, meticulous senior citizen and to my pleasure they were perfect........

i did not like the tone or pushiness of the salesman. I had scheduled this visit as a free estimate, and thought that by buying the Angies list deal that i would be getting additional actual services. there were none offered which i found disappointing. i am sure he could have come up with something besides a $7,000 estimate which he tried to badger me to sign.

The whole experience was good. Very prompt responses and scheduling of the work. The work crew found some obstacles but worked around them at no extra cost. The system has performed flawlessly since installed.

Let me start by saying I have never taken the time to write a review before even if I was happy with service. I always think about writing, but then get sidetracked, but Jason and his crew did such a great job I had to. I agree with all the other positive reviews when they say he and crew arrive on time, answered all my many questions without one ounces of frustration or arrogance even though many seemed ridiculous. He was also more then willing to take the time to also explain to my husband as we had different schedules. We own multiple properties and I have used many different contractors, but Jason stood out for his pleasant demeanor and the fact that he is working as hard as all his other workers to complete the job. It is so refreshing to have the owner around to answer questions and problem solve as a project is being done! we ave not had any significant rain since the work, but ave total faith after seeing every aspect of the work that my basement will be complete dry as Jason promised!

It couldn't have gone better.  I have had no water collection, and at one point when there was some water from the freezer failing down there, I called Jason and he was responsive and helpful.  I recommend this company and would use them again.
