  • I had a horrible experience here. I feel like a number and not a patient. The front desk staff is rude. I have waited over 45 minutes for most appointments since the OBGYN is on call with the hospital. Their communication is horrible and they have no idea what they are doing. I was told I would have an ultrasound at my first appointment with my Dr - then once my husband and I were there I was told we would not be having an ultrasound. They rescheduled us for another day and the day we came in they said there was a system error and our appointment had been canceled. I will be switching immediately since I am so disappointed. Horrible service and they are a baby factory.

  • Dr Talayero appears competent and the office is clean and well run. The medical intake form and subsequent interview were thorough. Dr Talayero listened to me without judgment, and was calm and methodical.

I don't believe Dr Talayero is the right fit for me, though, as I went to the Marino Center specifically for a holistic ordinary care physician. Dr Talayero is a traditional doctor in a holistic practice - she was not able to prescribe vitamin deficiency tests or the like, and said I needed a separate appointment with Dr Leonid Gordin. A previous holistic primary care doctor was integrated, and was able to handle routine and more holistic things life vitamin and but microbiology tests ( which really are quite scientific and non-woo-woo so I'm baffled by the division, but that's a side conversation) I asked for her medical philosophy and why she chose this practice - the answer I expected was something about proactive wellness instead of reactively chasing symptoms, and how health has mind/body connections. Her answer was that patients at a holistic practice are more involved in their own care, as it's frustrating to work with patients who aren't active in their own well being. Which is a reasonable answer, just not the holistic kind off doctor I thought I was getting. Dr Talayero's manner is not warm. I don't believe she was hostile, just serious and completely disinclined to smile even for routine social interaction - she acts Russian in her approach to smiling. For the typical American (or at least for me!), it is acultural and jarring, and made me feel anxious. I understand that cultures determine that kind of thing but on a subconscious level I did not feel at ease and will likely look for a better fit for my preferences. Someone who likes straightforward no-nonsense medical interaction would likely love Dr Talayero. Fortunately the Marino Center has DOs as well, so I'll keep looking for a warm holistic doctor.

  • She has been going here for about a year. Besides their clinical expertise, everyone is so nice here! It's a large hospital and it's easy to get lost, but people are willing to help. My wife's major physician is Dr. Yvonne Lee.

  • I think the doctors were not overly concerned.  I just felt like they really didn't care like what's your problem or they're not really interested.  They have poor customer service; lack of sympathy and lack of empathy.

  • Dr Dowling and Dr Krazinski are gone and others have come and gone. Dr Vandor has been my PCP for 4+ years. Getting refills is cumbersome. Getting referrals is difficult. Getting an appointment if you are sick is impossible. No follow through. Staff is defensive and rude. They act offended if you ask them a question. I was just told after asking why the same med for BP was being called in without my talking to my doctor because it is still high (he had asked me to call him to see what to do after being on this new med) and was told and quot;well, that is what you wanted, isn't itand quot;. The med wasn't called in and Dr Vandor or any staff have not called me back. It's 4//20/2014. Dr Vandor never calls back.

  • It was easy to make an appointment and the office was run efficiently.  Upon consulting with the doctor at my first appointment, it was decided that I would return for testing a couple of weeks later.  The testing takes time (a couple of hours) but the staff had told me to expect to be there for a long time so I was prepared.  I was monitored throughout the testing and the doctor met with me at the end to discuss the results. Everyone there was very pleasant.

  • I have been under the care of Dr. Mark Weinfeld. He has been very attentive to my needs and has always responded promptly to inquiries. He took great care to make sure that my surgery would be as free of problems as possible.

  • Had been struggling with plantar fasciitis for the better part of a year. With PT (elsewhere), pain was 80% lower, but remaining scar tissue was stubborn and didn't respond. Upon recommendation of my podiatrist, I decided to try Graston Technique. While I was slightly skeptical, I decided to give it a shot anyway -- in lieu of a cortisone shot -- and the results were nothing short of spectacular. After the first treatment, I immediately noticed a significant improvement in function; after just a few sessions, things were so good that Dr. Mui himself told me there was no need for me to come back! Dr. Mui was fantastic; I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, and I strongly recommend him for services.

  • I think she is fabulous. She is a working mother, and she understands real life. If I don't have time to exercise, she doesn't give me a lecture, she just says that I need to exercise more and she leaves it at that. She's great about that, she knows real life, and the stresses of being pulled in multiple directions. She is also both empathic and also no drama and no nonsense. If some medical issue comes up, she jumps on it, but not in an overly anxious way. She doesn't throw me into seventy three tests or something just because I have a complaint. But if there is something that needs a follow up, she ensures that it happens. I liked that combination of no nonsense but very attuned. She follows up by phone and by email, and she will even call me from home at night if there is an ongoing issue that she is concerned about. She is almost always on time, and the office runs like clockwork. I just can't say enough good things about her, I think that she is just a fabulous doctor.

  • Dr. Wong and his staff conducted a comprehensive exam, including allergy testing.  Dr. Wong met with me to discuss the results and a treatment plan.  He took a lot of time with me to explain everything in detail and to understand my concerns.  The treatment plan he has prescribed for me has been highly effective.  I have had minimal allergy symptoms this year.  I have recommended Dr. Wong to several of my friends and colleagues.
