  • I am not really thrilled with Verizon. They demanded that I convert my landline over to their new digital system, and it was 6 times before they came over. I had to stay home 6 times before they showed up. They didn't have the right equipment, they installed it, it fell down, someone came and took care of it. I had 3 times where they cancelled, and the only way I found out was by calling them. They wanted this equipment put in, and my phone bill is $55 a month.

  • The worker from Verizon FiOS came in, and it was his first day installing cable. They should have had an expert with him. The service is okay. I'm not crazy about them, but they're okay. Shop around first, if you can. Negotiate with Verizon when you talk to them.

  • They are the only available company in the area.  Their service is generally fine; it works most of the time but they are expensive.  I do not know how the other companies charge but I find what I pay every month is a lot of money for the service, especially when I do not have a choice.  What is good about them is that they have a winter price; when I am away for several months, I can put everything on hold without anything being disconnected and that is reasonable.  They are pretty responsive but they charge me extra when I call them when I need; for example when I need internet assistance, they put me on the thing when I get charged all of the month for it.  Their punctuality is good when they come out for anything.

  • The installation itself wasn't too bad with the exception of the lack of Disclosure and Any Explanation of the set up of the email accounts. This was done on Friday, June 22, 2012. Saturday my husband signed into his email account only to find he could not use it . it was Frozen. He couldn't receive any emails, he could send some, but the usual copy that is saved in ones 'sent file' could not be done and a message to that effect was show. Aparently after the primary account of the person who's name is on the account the 'sub-account's' have literally a quarter of the memory that the primary does. I have spent Saturday, Sunday, Monday and today Tuesday on the phone, waiting forever and then talking to people who say nothing can be done. The idea that they make him primary or let him use all the other memory of the other 'sub-accounts' won't work with them and Verizon will do NOTHING. Oh by the way, I am not using Verizon email so my husband is the only email account. To add insult to injury, when we tried to export his Contacts to a different email address it could not be done. Verizon will allow you to import YOUR contacts, but they will not allow to EXPORT.
    DO NOT go near Verizon. They are have No Customer Service, they are not honest and give No disclosure of how things work and once you're over to them they truly don't give a S--t about you!!!

  • The service was free. I have had them for ever. They are responsive. What I dislike about these kinds of services in general is that it always becomes a sales call. It is pretty good, and they are responsive, but sometimes, being responsive doesn't mean that I am entirely happy with them.

  • It works fine and we have been very satisfied for over 10 years. They have been good in allowing us to negotiate rates; as far as I can tell they don't engage in rate escalation like Comcast and other companies. I think the price is stable and competitive. We have had very few problems and when we do have them they fix them. We had one service tech that was very curt but generally they are fine. I will use them again in the future.

  • The phone service includes unlimited long distance, voice mail, and caller ID. It's been great. It's been really trouble-free. The speed is fine. Customer service has been good.
