  • Overall, United Freight provided excellent service. There were numerous delays that were out of the control of United Freight. These include a shipper's truck breaking down on the way to the pickup and having to find another shipper, and delays for the 4th of July and weekends. The car was eventually delivered in good shape

  • Everything went flawlessly. I was hesitant about using a shipping broker, but my son suggested I call Executive. Betty and Melissa convinced me that they could do the job on time so I entrusted my classic car to their care. Rick was the actual shipper/ driver. He was punctual and delivered the car on the day I wanted it to arrive. Mine was one of 6 on his enclosed truck. I highly recommend Executive and the actual shipping company they used.

  • The pickup was as promised, and they made sure to deliver the car after we arrived home, also as promised. And the car arrived in perfect condition--not even dirty (the way it was when it originally arrived in Florida through a different company).

  • This was the most unprofessional, untruthful and deceitful organization I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. I called the last week in November to arrange to have my car shipped to Austin, TX at the end of the year, very beginning of 2017. The person I spoke with assured me that they could meet a 3 day window of January 2nd to January 4th of 2017. The next six weeks were an absolute horror-show. I kept getting told there was no problem, they would have me on the schedule around Christmas to insure that they would meet the window that they had spoken of. When I called the week before Christmas, I was told that I was still not on the schedule, and they were short drivers because many had taken the holiday off(I would think they should have included this fact in their planning). Christmas week, I still had not gotten a scheduled pick-up. The supervisor on the line claimed"You just don't understand how this industry works. We can't guarantee a delivery date or even a delivery window". My car arrived in Austin on 1/14/17, 10 days after the end of the window I had been promised in November. The car rental bill for this period was over $600. The driver who delivered the vehicle, from another company that Executive contracted with, said his company hadn't even seen the "posting" on the industry job available board until January 4th, the end of the window Executive had given me in November!

  • Everything went fairly well, but at the end of the day I had to pay $50 more than the contracted price.  The driver want cash on the barrel and was not aware that the booking agent had committed to the price with no extras.  Maybe it is the nature of this particular business that everyone hits you up for extra money, but I really did not care for that.

  • I had my brand new Chevy Volt shipped from California to Boston by Chip's Transport.  They did an outstanding job of arranging the whole thing with carriers in California. I chose the option of having them clean the car before I picked it up at Chips location.  The car was spotless, and looked just as good as before it was shipped.  I also chose a cash payment option to keep the price as low as possible.  They were good at keeping us informed by email and phone calls.  I called Chips after the first company we hired did not show up to pick up the car, and had to get the charge removed by the credit card company, so I was really nervous.  I saw a great review for Chips on Angie's list, and Chip's service was as great as everyone else had said.

  • Deirdre was at my door early and called inside just to say she was there early and I should take my time.  Deirdre is very nice and clearly has worked with all levels of disabled and ill people.  I'm ambulatory and able to open car doors for myself and such, so she didn't need to come into the doctor appointment with me (though she would've done if asked).  Because my appointment was so far away from their usual area (Newton/metro Boston area), she stayed down near South Weymouth.  So when my appointment got delayed a long time, so was she.  She and I kept in touch with cell phones (so I could alert her when there would be a long delay) and she was able to arrange for someone else to handle her next ride.  She did not make me feel bad *at all* for the fact that my appointment ran more than an hour later than we had estimated.  She took things in stride. 

    I chose to lay in the back seat (it helps me to be horizontal - more restful).  She was pleasant and personable, though when I didn't feel like talking we didn't and it was comfortable.  The car was new and clean and comfortable.  It was comforting to be in competent hands (she didn't need directions, was sensitive to the fact I wasn't feeling well, etc. - which is very different than I feel when I'm in a taxi).  She dropped me at the door.  Since I didn't need or want her to come in with me, she told me where she'd be; we had each other's cell phone numbers to make sure I could call her as soon as my appointment was over (she was 10 minutes away for part of the time).  Since my appointment ran really long, she was back at the doctor's office by the time it ended.  And the trip home went very fast.

    This service was exactly what I needed.  And since I have to go back, I will be using them in the future.

  • The car was delivered without damage, but it was filthy. They promise to wash the car prior to delivery but they never did. The car was looking really grim. When the car was delivered, there was no apology or compensation for the missing car wash. It was very disappointing. They said they would have the car there in 3 days and it was more like 5 days.

  • We would not use them again because we have a different way of dealing with that now. No scratches or dents that I wasn't responsible for.
