We called on a Friday, and the owner John called back in an hour or so. He was able to come by the house and look at the job that afternoon. He emailed a quote the next day. We talked to three other individuals about the job. One seemed very knowledgeable and had good recommendations, but he never provided a quote. One came by to look at the job five days after we called him and after we had decided to go with John. The third provided a quote in a timely manner, but John's was lower and covered more work. For example, we have a wall, and part of it needed to be removed when the new pipe was installed. John's crew rebuilt the wall, and it looks just as good if not better than before. They started the job on Wednesday, and they were able to install the new pipe in one day with a crew of four or five guys who worked hard to get the job done. The problem arose in January, and we were lucky to have it fixed before the next snowfall. John was around most of the time to oversee the work. A couple of guys had to come back on Thursday to rebuild the wall and regrade the lawn. We had a lot of ledge, and they did their best under the circumstances. It's tough when a sewer problem comes out of the blue, but we're really glad that we called Ieraci.

Bill came out to give as estimate and quoted thousands of dollars less than other companies we'd spoken to. He was very knowledgeable about the issues involved and what would be needed to do the repair. He did not try to replace the wall with mortar and cinder-blocks with a rock facade. He started work the next day and finished quickly.

From the view of company management, the team is excellent. The sales man worked hard. The project manager came to the place everyday and was flexible with minor adjustments. And the response to my requirements was quick. The roofers, the carpenters, and the painters, finished their jobs in a good schedule. The quality of the project also reached a good standard. My roof and windows survived rounds of heavy shower. Up to now, there is no leakage observed. My house is not big. There was concern that the canopy might be too big. But, it turns out to be a perfect fit. Some of my neighbors expressed their interest in such a canopy. That makes my happy. The painters are awesome. They suggested a good color to me. That is grey with a little blue. The whole team is nice and courteous. They worked carefully. Nothing and no men was broken. And my house has a new look. However, the cost was somehow beyond my budget.

E&S are professional masonry engineers. They are good in design, punctual with the schedule, and skillful with the stones and the concrete. The retaining wall is sturdy and survived well from the big trucks of a pavement company. The stairs are wider than before, and more easy for aged people to go up and down. It has a complete new look. The small platform was my most concern. With years of raining, it was no longer flat and not safe. Now, it is filled with concrete. Again, it is sturdy. E&S are enthusiastic with the works. And they are interesting guys. It is really happy to work with them

Ted responded promptly when I purchased the deal. He came exactly when he said he would. He gave me his opinion and showed me various options but I decided I was going to have to wait. His strength is brick work, although I did not want brick stairs. If anyone would want brick stairs, I believe he would be a strong candidate.

He and his team are professional, courteous.  Our home has never looked better, and based on the care they gave our home, we our home to keep looking good.  This was our second time hiring Spiros.  He had done some interior work a few years ago.
Spiros is a professional painter with high standards, and those who work with him have to meet these standards.  We will continue to use SD Painting whenever we have a painting job.

I share my experience and you can decide.

Brand new gutters were installed almost 2 years ago. Last fall we noticed there were so many cuts and holes in the drop edge and when they installed the gutters they didn't replace the drop edge or repair it. I should notice they replaced the roof as well.we contacted them and they said they will come to fix it but it never happened since was winter and after all, the gutters came off of the building during winter.

Couple of times we called them and we asked them to visit and take a look to see why these gutters fell down. They said they don't have any emergency service and they don't do any job in winter. So be aware if you face any problem they are not available in winter.

We found out all fascia boards were rotten and they never mentioned this and they didn't proposed it before installation of gutters .

At the end they said it was act of God and we need to call our insurance.

We had the worse experience with them.

I spoke with a number of painters, all highly rated on Angie's List. John Guarino and ProTect painters provided a detailed proposal and offered the best price. Two painters arrived on time on the day scheduled and did an excellent job of prepping and painting the porch using two colors. Through a miscommunication, some of the cracks on the columns had been left unfilled. When John called to ask if I was satisfied with the job I mentioned this to him and that I could take care of what hadn't been done since it wasn't a lot and I had the left over cans of paint. John insisted on sending the painters back to seal and paint the cracks saying, "I want you to be completely satisfied". They did, and I was. The porch looks great.

He came out quickly and gave and estimate on the spot, however, the first time we used him he disappeared for several weeks and we had no idea when he was going to do the job. That didn't happen the second time.

Excellent! I contacted John in March to quote my project (one of three masons I had quote my project). He was headed off for family vacation the morning after he came over and was able to deliver the quote to me that night before leaving for vaca (amazing!). John was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I had a hodge-podge of walkway photos and he seemed to easily get what I was trying to do with our 150 year old house. I wanted solid granite and brick! And, I was a bit picky about color! The work began a two weeks after we gave John the green light. JD Masonry is a family business ... John's dad and uncle and a bunch of cousins are masons and do the work, which I really liked. I picked John because he was the most on point in answering my questions, which gave me confidence. This was a big project for us! The work began as agreed and the crew was on-time throughout the project. John was very responsive during the project to my emails and questions. We have a small yard, so it was necessary for them to pile up their materials on our grass, and my husband got a bit nervous about what was going on. They did use tarps and boards so that there were no dents in the grass ... and when my husband called John about it, he was very reassuring that the lawn would have minimal damage. Considering how much "stuff" was on our lawn, we were doubtful, but John was right...no major damage at all (considering the cement mixer, the bob cat, giant slabs of granite, all the brick and cinder blocks, piles of sand/rock ... oye!! ... it's a miracle, but they knew what they were doing :)). One thing that is especially noteworthy: I have these giant (!!) puffy evergreen shrubs right in front of the main landing. While I have no love for the shrubs (they are getting ripped out next year, I hope), I didn't want them to be damaged as they're all I've got for greenery in front of the door right now. Well, we discussed having to trim them back a bit as there was just no other way and no place for the masons to work to get the landing in (and I understood), but what ended up happening was magic! I knew they were working on the landing as I was home that day. I didn't want to peek for fear I would be upset with how the shrubs looked ... when I came out, the landing was in and the shrubs were perfectly enact. John's cousin had CRAWLED through the bottom of the shrubs and constructed the wall without cutting anything. Truly amazing ... and above and beyond!!
So, overall, these guys are A++. My walkway and steps are just so stunning! The quality of their work is clear. I wish I could upload photos! Oh, and the stone wall they fixed ... amazing! They put it back together perfectly (it has a rustic sort of look) and didn't damage my ancient peonies that live along the wall.
