    Lapp, Dr. Mark A
They are top shelf in his office. He is fantastic. I like that he is barebones, get to the point. He is open to collaborating with my other physicians before surgery. He is proactive and is serious about his patient's health. His nurse practitioner and he went over everything that would go on during my treatment. I would recommend him to anybody.

    Glazer, Dr. Paul A.
Surgery & follow ups went well. Was in the hospital overnite, doctor came and saw me first thing in morning. Has good bedside manner, listens and asks all questions posed. Most of pain alleviated with the exception of chronic pulled muscle in rhomboids on right side which the doctor could not guarantee would be fixed. He was informative and helpful when asked questions and also has a good sense of humor. He came highly recommended by a peer who had also had surgery. Reveiwed xrays with me and seems genuinely concerned. The only things I would suggest is that the doctor give Prednisone immediately after the surgery - after 2 weeks I still could not swallow and had to call before this was given - it would have made things much more pleasant had given at time of discharge, and a better idea of healing time. Plate & screws actually went in through my throat and I have a skinny neck! Healing time was said to be 6-8 weeks but it was more like 12 before I could actually go to work. Other than that he was great and I am healing well.

    The Boston Spine Group
I've been going here about 2 years. They are, for a doctor's office, very punctual. With the exception of the receptionist, they are all great people and very easy to talk to. Except the receptionist, its like trying to get through the white house. Dr. Aidlen is an outstanding surgeon. She did a spinal fusion for me 8 weeks ago and I'm already back to work. I feel like a million bucks. She's the first doctor I've hugged!

    Saechin Kim MD,PHD
I was referred to Dr. Kim for a second opinion and really didn't think I was going to go with him because I was very happy with my original physician. I was with him for 5 minutes when I changed my mind and decided to go with him. There was something about his demeanor and his personality, (plus his double MD degrees) that just made me feel so comfortable with him. I saw him on a Wednesday and I was in surgery a week and a half later. He explained the entire process to me, showing me on my mri what he would be doing, what I could expect, going over every risk and benefit. One of the biggest deciding factors was that he wanted to fix everything, I have had 3 prior surgeries and have had multiple herniations and the doc has only chosen to fix one at a time. I was so happy when Dr. Kim said it was ridiculous to go in there and not take care of everything and have to go back in again next year (which is what I've gone through in the past). I went home, called my own physician to get his advice as to who to go with, and he could tell in my voice that I had so much comfort in Dr. Kim that he told me to go with my gut and it would be the best decision because both physicians were top notch. I called and scheduled the surgery. Dr. Kim called me a couple days later to see if I had any questions and to reassure me - what another reassuring touch this was. I was admitted on March 14th, Dr. Kim met me right away before anything was started to go over everything and to be sure that I was comfortable with what I was about to undertake - it was a green light - so before I knew it I was prepped, and that's the last thing I remember until I woke up in the recovery room. Dr. Kim had inserted an epidural for pain management so my pain was minimal, I also had a pump for pain. The nurses were unbelievable. I was taken to my room pretty quick because I came out of anesthesia very quickly. My hospital stay was very positive, I made great strides, a few minor set backs with a temp and low blood pressure, but Dr. Kim and Sean were right on top of every issue. I saw them both every morning. I was operated on Monday, got out of bed on Wednesday, and went home on Thursday (a day earlier than expected) I was released and given excellent instructions for home care as well as making sure I had adequate assistance at home. Sean came in to give me my discharge orders and was so very kind and a little stern about my do's and don'ts and taking it very easy at home - which was nice with my husband right there :) I was pleased with Beth Israel Hospital for the most part, there were some issues but it had nothing to do with my doctor and it was nothing he had any control over. I highly recommend Dr. Kim at 1269 Beacon St in Brookline. I can't even begin to express how happy I am to have so much of my pain that I have been living with for so long taken away, and I am so grateful to Dr. Kim.

    Lapp, Dr. Mark A
I believe he is the greatest spinal surgeon in all of New England. After the surgery my husband was completely cured. There was a lot of potential for nerve damage, but he is now fine and is able to mow the lawn and walk around like nothing ever happened. I would highly recommend Dr. Lapp!

    Bulczynski, Dr. Wojciech
He did back surgery on me over a year ago and it was unbelievable. The office environment is hectic and crowded because there are so many doctors in this particular practice, I have always gotten in on time, the staff is very friendly, very willing to help you, the assistant does everything and has everything prepared for him, they have everything right on the ball, they have computers at their disposal and they're just excellent.

I was very impressed with them. I found everybody there to be professional. The doctor was very good. Their office environment was okay and I did not have any problem with that. Their staff members are very courteous and professional too. Their bedside manner was excellent. I don’t think anybody there was happy communicating with their doctors. Their treatment seems to be working very well. I have not received any bills because it is being paid through the insurance company.
