    Bellows Funeral Chapel
They were fabulous. Bellows made a very difficult situation bearable. They were kind and caring from start to finish. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Allan was professional, patient and kind every time we met. He was able to go back into old records (48 years ago) to find a casket similar to the one we had for our dad for our mom. Beyond words how grateful I am to have such a superlative business at one of life's most challenging times. They made it seamless and I am forever greatful.

    MILLER FUNERAL SVC & CREMATION
It went fine. They were great. They were very helpful. We would recommend them. My brothers and I really liked them. We were from out of state going to Texas and my brother died. Before we even booked them they were really kind. They went into all the details about what our possibilities are. My brothers talked to them more than I did. My brothers told them that they made it all easy for them and unstressful during the sudden tragic death. They were very, very kind and very, very supportive. They were directing my brothers on all the different technicalities and not just during cremation but all about things having to do with death certificate, the process involved and the legalities. They just answered all the questions. The establishment was very, very nicely laid out. They had a nice urn room where we could buy urns or pick out woods. They have many different kinds of rooms for different things. It felt like I was in somebody’s home. It was very comfortable. There were rooms that we could have people in. Even though it was right near the highway, they used their space well. They had a nice little garden area outside which was uninspected. It was a small place but very personable and very homely. They made it very unstressful. We just had the cremation there. They spent so much time with us and explaining all the options etc. They weren’t business like. They were just very supportive of the whole process. The experience couldn’t have been better, excellent. The price was what we had expected. We don’t know how cremations go for but it seems it was cheaper than a funeral. I split it with my other 2 brothers. I suppose it was good. It seemed like a reasonable price for what they did. The quality was perfect. The manager came out when we picked up the urn when the cremation was over. That was very nice.

    FOLSOM FUNERAL SVC INC
I spoke to four different providers including the two big ones in downtown Needham, and I was mortified at the type of sneaky tactics employed by them. Folsom was the only one who gave me a complete and detailed estimate of all costs, had me sign legal disclosures and didn't put any pressure on us at all. They were terrific during a very difficult time for my family.

    FAGGAS FUNERAL SVC
I don’t have to explain everything to them. They were very understanding, caring and I was happy with them. They took care of everything and they helped us through everything. They were right on the money and I used them 3 times.

    PHILBIN COMEAU FUNERAL HOME
Tom Comeau, of Philbin Comeau Funeral Home greeted us at the door, welcoming us into a nice room to discuss the details of preplanning a loved one's funeral services. He was very comforting and understanding and able to address all of our questions and concerns. Within our conversation he helped us to consider all aspects of the arrangements, from obtaining a local priest to a luncheon after the services, walking us through the entire process. Once we decided on all the arrangements, Tom walked us through the itemized contract and helped us to better understand the details regarding the trust that holds the money for when the funeral services are required. Toward the end of our conversation, we realized that we did have additional questions just outside of his scope. Without hesitation, Tom suggested a local estate lawyer to meet with and even called the office to schedule an appointment for us.

    BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME
My father passed away last week in a hospital in Worcester. We contacted the Buma Funeral Home when we knew my dad would be passing and I was so impressed by their communications and support on the phone and in email. I was also impressed that they offered a web form where I could sit and enter information about my dad in my own time. Follow up communications were clear and once my dad passed they took him into their care and I felt very comfortable knowing this. Their funeral home is a beautiful, stately Victorian and its impressiveness also felt right to show how important and loved my Dad was. Jim Buma guided us through all the arrangements and so many small details. He just took care of them all so we were not burdened by them including placing our flower order, hiring our bagpiper and ordering death certificates. He was patient, knowledgeable and kind as we made decisions with his guidance. The service itself was lovely and my father looked so incredibly handsome. The Bumas also gave us a room in the back where our (many) children could retreat to when the front rooms were too much for them. We were absolutely treated liked family. I will also say, as a technology professional, that I was very impressed with their investment in tasteful digital capabilities including being able to run a photo slide show in all of the rooms and simulcasting the service itself into overflow rooms when the crowd got bigger. We were even provided with a recording of the service. They effortlessly and very quietly adjusted to the increasing size of the crowd, moving chairs in when needed and guiding guests, and our family, throughout the entire night. This was the most terrible event I have experienced in my life but I was given tremendous comfort by the Buma family and their excellent staff. I know that my father was well cared for as he transitioned from this life and I know we placed him in the very best hands.

    CONWAY CAHILL-BRODEUR HOME
This was as positive experience as possible given that is was obviously a sad occasion. Phil Conway was very professional and made the entire experience as painless as possible. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and even surprised us at the burial by coming up with a specific piece of music that I had mentioned in the eulogy.

BRADY & FALLON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE
It went very, very smoothly, which was just what I needed. When the death occurred I was a quarter of the way around the world. They were accommodating to a fault regarding my geographically inaccessible situation. I was looking for the simplest of cremations and that is precisely what I received. No guilt trips, no maudlin speeches. Respectful and professional. I give them my highest rating. Price was not the lowest, nor the highest.
