The Benefits of Tree Care vs. Tree Removal

Tree Service reviews in Needham

  • The crew from Royer did an excellent job. Communication with the office, from requesting an estimate to confirming the work date, went smoothly. I had two very large pine trees and one large multi-trunked ash tree cut down to the stump. In addition, they trimmed some branches overhanging my property. I watched the whole process and marveled at how quickly and efficiently they whole job proceeded. When the trees were down they cleaned up the area completely. I was told that the stump grinder would be back later that day and not long after the trucks left he arrived and made quick work of the stumps. I will definitely hire Royer Tree again.

  • They arrived promptly, with 6 workers, immediately got to work without ever having to place trucks on my grass so that was not damaged, worked efficiently for nearly three hours, performed even more trimming than I had expected for the price (but which was badly needed), wear cordial, did great work for a fair price. I have no complaints.

  • My insurance company sent SynergyOne to clean up downed trees and to repair a broker fence after a storm. My insurance company paid for tree clean up plus the amount SynergyOne had quoted for fence repair. We did not want the fence repaired immediately because we wanted to have a large tree taken down in our yard before having the fence fixed. After we had our tree removed (at our own expense by a different company), I contacted SynergyOne to fix my fence, however they then informed me that they do not do fence repair (despite the quote I had from them and my insurance company already paying them for the work). Needless to say, SynergyOne walked away with a fat check for work they did not perform. Despite my attempts to work with them, they were not willing to repair my fence or reimburse me for the money they collected for work they did not perform.

  • We couldn't be more pleased with McKinney Brothers. They returned our call promptly, arrived when they said they would and completed the work carefully and efficiently. They were helpful with advice on other tree needs. I have recommended them to others who have been equally as pleased with their work. Just the best!

  • Andrew and his crew were very professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and seems to really enjoy his work. The pruning was artfully done. He is punctual and spends time giving advice and explaining the process. He is invested in keeping trees healthy and very good with communication and letting you know when do do a particular treatment ( wooly moth that we will be doing this spring). He will be doing a much larger job for us with plating a large number of trees. Its not going to be cheap but I trust him to pick healthy specimens for the right areas.

  • It turned out very well. It worked out pretty good. It was a pretty good experience overall. The service was delivered exactly as what was priced out. There were no additional fees. There were no hidden costs that came out with the course of the work that they had done. The quality of the work was very good. I would absolutely use them in the future.

  • David and Chris are not only professional, they are personable, caring and full of great ideas to make my yard look gorgeous.  It is so nice to do business with enthusiastic, smart and courteous people.  They ALAYS provide a quote in a timely fashion before proceeding with any work.  Their work is neat.  They trimmed some of my trees with hand clippers instead of noisy machines (more landscapers should do this).  They don't leave until the work has been completed and inspected by me.

I have asked them to take care of snow removal in the winter and they informed me that they remove the snow with snowblowers instead of a plow.  When I asked why they told me it was neater looking and disperses the snow better so you don't end up with a wall of snow.  That impressed me.

Cullins Service is great.  Do yourself a favor and give these guys a try!

  • The owner was very knowledgeable and had many great ideas to give the home new curb appeal. The workers showed up on time and were very respectful of my neighbors. They got the bulk of the brush and overgrowth removed and we are able to move on to the fun part with the design of the new landscaping and plantings. Moving forward we have a plan in place to get the rest of the work done. I am very excited about all the new space  I now have in my back yard and look forward to working with them in the future to complete the remainder of the work. I have had disappointing experiences in the past with other companies that were not reliable and very overpriced, so it was a great relief to finally find a company like Cappadona Landscape that that made my life easy, produced great work and started a new friendship going forward.

  • Russell Gates and his foreman, Ross Cigna, did a wonderful job, and the crew was very accommodating and worked very hard and were quite skilled. What was great about Ross, whom we worked with most closely, was his willingness to take extra care and to go all out on the project. He really tried to find out what we wanted and spent a lot of time and care with us. Both Russell and Ross wanted our house to look beautiful, and they succeeded. We ended up having them take over a lot of projects that we had been neglecting, and were extremely happy with what they did. Again, Ross was really good and careful at what he did, and went the extra mile. In addition to the original work, we asked them to stain our deck, redo our threshold, paint the house, and again Ross and his son were great. Then we decided to have Russell do landscaping for us, He changed the look of our yard, and was very knowledgeable about what to do about our hemlock trees that were looking very bedraggled. We are hiring them to do our landscape work from now on. We couldn't find good people to do work for us and now we feel that we have found people to help us take better care of our home.

  • This people are disorganized and/or dishonest. Met with Juan a few times
to estimate the work. The price was fair so we decided to go ahead with
the job. Juan requested $200 deposit to "seal the deal" which I was
stupid enough to give him. He claimed the deposit would get cashed when
the work is done. Of course the check got cashed the very next day...
After that they canceled the original appointment "due to rain", then
the next time they "overbooked" me. I gave Juan the last chance to come
on Saturday morning to do the work, to which he was a no show. I
cancelled our arrangement and demanded refund of my deposit. Juan said
I'd get it as requested. Surprise, of course nobody came to give the
money back. I complained to HomeAdvisor (who recommended the contractor)
about my experience and only then Tree Brothers refunded my deposit.
This was a huge waste of my time and energy.
