  • Their very good I like them a lot, they were prompt they were responsive, their reasonable and honest.

From my prospective I think they diagnose the problem immediately, they took the time to look at, I didn't have to wait for a appointment at all, they worked promptly, they called me actually when I came in and I made arrangements to bring the car there for repairs and I actually didn't need an appointment and I was able to stop by, when I take it back I did have an appointment and they took care of it in the morning.

  • Some careless driver had scraped his car across the rear bumper of my 2012 car and driven off.  I was upset and wanted it fixed.  I went o Needham Collision because my family (but not me) had used them before.  The owner, Gino, gave me a price and was flexible in picking a day to do the job.  I dropped the car off in the morning, and that afternoon it was repainted and ready to go.  It looks perfect, and I am very pleased.

  • I had set up an appointment to have 4 tires changed at our home.  The tech was running 20 minutes late, so the main office called and gave me the heads up.  When the tech arrived, he explained clearly what he was going to do, confirmed the price, and got right to work.  An hour later he was done.  Before leaving he explained that my rims were a bit rusty so he cleaned them up, and then he answered a bunch of questions I had about snow tires.
The tech was polite and knowledgeable and the whole process was completely painless and hassle-free.  I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
  • I am not a fan of the car-buying experience to begin with, but Sean McCarey at Route 44 Toyota was by far the worst salesman I've ever had to deal with. My wife and I wanted a fully loaded Toyota Highlander for our growing family. They're a hot commodity in New England apparently because many dealers had zero in their inventory. Our experience trying to buy this car was horrendous.
His tactic: get you to put down a $500 deposit on a car that's in route to the dealership, insists that you negotiate the price and trade value AFTER the car arrives, assures you that you can walk away and get your money back at any time, and sends you on your way.
We went to the dealership on a Friday evening. As expected, they didn't have any matching cars on their lot even though they said there was when we called ahead. He showed us a spec sheet of a car in pipeline stock that would be ours provided we put a refundable deposit down on it that day. If all went well, we would return no later than the following Friday to test drive and sign the paperwork. We regretfully obliged, and waited for contact the following week.
As you can expect, Wednesday came... everything looked good when I checked in with him. Friday came... no car. I had to initiate contact on Friday to find out; I called him over my lunch break. He continued to string me along, saying that it could still be on its way. Finally, at 3pm later that day and said via TEXT:  "No luck. Tty Monday. Have a great weekend." I'm a customer about to spend $45,000 on a new car and he sends me a half-a$$ed text message to tell me to me that he couldn't come though? That's when we knew this deal wasn't going to go through. We went out the following day and bought a different car from someone else... but I still had to return to get my deposit from good 'ol Sean.
The following Monday, Sean texts me to tell me that my car arrived! No wait, minutes later he said (i mean texted) that he made a mistake and it was someone else's Limited Platinum Highlander. I refused to respond at this point and planned to go in the following day to get my deposit back.
This is where the score of "F" is earned for professionalism. I walked in, he greeted me by the wrong name, sat me down at his desk and I gave him the bad news. Then, he literally argued with me in front of the entire sales floor that we had shook on a price and I was backing out of an agreed upon deal. After several failed attempts to explain that we had never agreed on a price, that he specifically requested that we wait to talk about numbers until after the car got there, and that a handshake on the way out the door is a sign of courtesy and not an agreement to buy an imaginary car (the car still was not on the lot when I returned to get my deposit).
The worst part was, he claimed he wouldn't have taken a penny off of the MSRP and that he was glad we didn't waste any more of each other's time--demand was so high for this car that he could turn around and sell it to someone else. Why then was he so upset that I was taking business elsewhere? He embarrassed himself in front of everyone. If I wasn't so irate with him for claiming that I was reneging on a deal I might have felt bad for him. Worst customer experience I've ever had. This is NOT a TrueCar dealership in case you were wondering.
If you go to this dealership, I highly recommend you not deal with this character. He's unprofessional and not worth a minute of your time or a penny from your wallet. I wouldn't have written this review if a manager had interjected and corrected him and apologized for his irrational behavior. (I get it, we're all emotional creatures). But this is obviously a cultural and acceptable norm at this establishment. Please take your business elsewhere. Boch Toyota sells 900 cars per week for a reason...

  • When I bought the new car I got a schedule of maintenance to do certain things at certain times. That is what I call routine maintenance. Their service department is very good. The price of service varies on what I need done.

  • The gentlemen I spoke with, Guy was professional.  I had explained another broker could not confirm a pick up on the vehicle and he claimed he had "his own trucks" and could get it done. But, it came with a very steep premium.  He was charging about $200 more than anyone else I had quote the job.  But, at this point, I was pretty desperate, so I went with him. He requested a $225 upfront deposit, which I paid (I assume this was his profit) and then I had to pay $700 cash to the driver.    The driver did confirm he is an Independent, so United Freight was merely a broker like everyone else.

PS: The other broker called 30 minutes later and said she found a carrier.  She was $200 cheaper, but I had already agreed to the deal with Guy.

I tried to get guy to come down on the price, but he would not (I saw other hauls he had done from FL to MA much cheaper, but he would not budge. Bottom line, these guys get the job done but are very expensive. I move this car 2x a year so I will continue to look at others that can do the same thing (hopefully), but without the high price.

  • I spent $700. They did an evaluation on a used car that I bought for my daughter. John is the head mechanic and he's very thorough, very clear or what he's doing and he's good with followup. He was a bit expensive.

  • I've used them several times within the past year. I spent $270. I bought a used car for my daughter an the frame was very rusted so I went to 3 or 4 different auto body and repair places to get evaluations from them and I liked Mellen Street's evaluation. I thought they were both pricey in the end but everything else about Mellen Street was great.

  • George and all the staff is very good, and I trust them. George even made a house call once when my car wouldn't start! They'll tell you when you do need something done on the car and when you don't.

  • I have been taking my cars to G.T. Arbuckle for years. George has treated me honestly and fairly since 2006. I am pretty fussy about who services my cars and George has consistently done a good job for me.
George helped me keep a 1996 Ford Explorer as a safe and drive-able vehicle for over 6 years. Things would go wrong and George would find a reasonably priced way to fix them. George has been servicing our 2005 Toyota Highlander with 110,000 miles and with George's help, I expect it to last at least another 50,000 mile and another 5 years.
I would not hesitate to recommend G.T. Arbuckle to anyone who is looking to have their car serviced for exactly what is needed with recommendations for what to fix to avoid problems in the future. All mechanics like to work on "new" cars. In my mind, the mark of a good mechanic is the one who is willing to working on older cars and who does an excellent job while doing it. George can help you make your car last as long as possible.
