    MA Design & Construction Co
This is the second time I have used MA Design and Construction for a project in my house. Both times were great. For the most recent job, they framed up a partially finished basement, added carpet, leveled the ceiling, added a door and electrical outlets and insulated and painted the walls. The finished product looked great. I have found them super easy to work with - they are always very responsive to any questions that I have and they are great about communicating. I plan to have them do additional work for us in the future.

Excellent! We had a huge project. Vanny was great to work with. He does excellent work! He was even very helpful with giving us ideas as our project moved along and we were making decisions/choices. He works very hard. He does things the right way, he doesnt cut corners, and knows what hes doing!

I hired them to remove an old illegal in-law kitchen in the home, remove the plumbing, and then remodel the main kitchen in the home. Everything went as expected! They did a good job and I am content with the final outcome of the project and will definitely consider them for any upcoming projects.

    LANCASTER HOME REMODELING
John and his assistant were super responsive from the beginning: inspecting the job site, planning and scheduling, applying for the permits, starting and finishing the job pretty much on time. Our case was a special case since it needed special permits and involved a lot of legal representation with the city. They were very helpful throughout the process of getting us ready for the permits. His work started right on time and he finished on time. He kept the site clean as we were living in the building while he worked on the basement. Was very professional in the work he did and they way he did it. Always consulted us on variations from the plan, was very flexible with our changes to the plan. Everything was cleaned after the job was done and the whole project went very smoothly. He did great job (woodwork) on a minibar and shelves he made for us. Rest of the work including the parts that his subcontractors did went smooth and came our great! I have been using the basement for about 4-5 month now and have had no issues. I recommended him already to a few of the close friends. Great experience!

    3G's Construction
Top reasons I would hire Rich / 3Gs again and again: Consistent, high-quality work Great eye for design, and outside the box thinking for tricky design problems Open / available for communication - (even on weekends and at night!) Honesty and trustworthiness - (I never felt unsafe leaving them in my house alone, or having them come and go when we were on vacation.) Tireless work ethic (I truly feel Rich strives to produce the best product he can, including negotiating pricing with vendors to save his clients money!) Now that you have skimmed the Cliff Notes above, heres a bit about our most recent experience: Our new stairs are gorgeous because of Rich and his crew! After 3Gs did a stunning job on our bathroom / bedroom gut & remodel, we again enlisted their expertise on what we thought would be a fairly small job 3 landings done in hardwood, and 3 stairs fitted with oak treads where there was once carpet. Little did we know that whomever built our house in the first place had a very different idea of what structurally sound meant! Our small job quickly turned into a large one as demo progressed and we saw the extent of the poor construction underneath, but fortunately no job is too large for 3Gs! They ended up replacing almost everything on our staircase in total, 12 newel posts, 16 oak treads, 3 new sets of stringers, rerouted some electrical, and most importantly, new joists to carry the loads properly and make sure everything was structural and safe. Although having a small job grow to a large one was on occasion stressful, Rich was always there with a kind word, some humor, and his consistent delivery of high quality work. He and his crew are truly a pleasure to work with, and he has become more like a friend than a contractor over the course of the project. He and his guys were also willing to try something new to them (and me) in the design department. After we realized we would be replacing our entire railing system, I decided I wanted a modern aesthetic, and liked the look of CableRail. Rich brought me a brochure on Feeneys cable rail products, and my research and design began. I did some sketches, and we talked through the different design elements of what each choice would look like. We have an odd-sized landing next to each side of our stairs, and how to finish it was one of my biggest concerns. Even though I have a design background, I just couldnt visualize it. Rich came over on two different Saturdays just to talk through the placement of the newel posts, how the railings would run, and how to finish the landings. At one point I even changed my mind after I saw where the posts would be anchored no matter he had his guys take the stringers apart and rework them to accommodate my new design decision. He was there to make sure my vision became a reality, and I am thrilled with the finished product!! I would hire Rich / 3Gs construction again without hesitation!

Richard was thorough and communicative every step of the way. We always had his full attention... from problem-solving to timing to explaining to me all sorts of things unique to his trade. He encouraged feedback and accommodated my preferences as much as possible. His team was polite, friendly, articulate and everything they did was high quality. When some unexpected changes came up, he pushed through, took the heat and got us what we needed. Our new room is stunning and we are already thinking about the next project we can do with him.

    Boston Painters LLC
Amazing. The best communication. Fast, and great quality. No chemical smell, the paint was super high tech. They sanded all the walls. Worked super clean. Put all the tv's back on the wall, with all the wires in the correct places. I would get phone calls every now and then, with a simple question when ever they were not sure. Seriously these guys are the best. Highly suggest using them.

    MR FIX IT
I had asked multiple contractors quotes on the various plans I had for the room remodeling. Almost everyone seemed to be eager to take the project but was unwilling to give an itemized split so that I could stay in the budget I had in mind or were just unprofessional in calling at last minute and cancelling appointments just to drop by. Simon and his team were excellent and thoroughly professional....they came when they said they would come, explained exactly what they were doing and gave me clear timelines and worked with me on scheduling. The best part was that Simon had a ton of ideas, at the same time was willing to work in tandem with me to meet the budget while also planning what is best overall...They also stayed later on one of the days so as to complete the project in time they told they would finish. if you do mind paying a tad bit more for good workmanship and value professionalism and quality of service and timelines and all....I will recommend them to you....will rehire...in fact have already been talking to him for another modeling in 2018 :-)

Rich and his crew were AMAZING! They truly made what was a very stressful time manageable (saving the day after another companys mistakes), and in the end, beautiful! I would HIGHLY recommend his company, and am looking forward to having them complete future projects for us. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Rich or his crew! The full story: We had some foundation issues which caused floor sinking in 2 bedrooms and our guest bath. We knew we had to remodel, but didnt know how to start, or who to trust. I initially reached out to Rich via Angies List on a Sunday, and got a call back within about 6 hours, that night! The fact that I could reach him on a weekend if need be, or send a text and get my questions answered in a timely manner (which wasnt always during business hours) made all the difference. He truly cares about his work, and the needs of the people he is working for. Long story short, Richs crew came in to gut/redo our beds/bath. They were timely, and always took great care to make sure they were as neat as possible. He recommended a plumber and electrician, and both were great as well. His company stepped in several times to save both the day, and my sanity, during our 6mos project. Some examples: 1) We had an issue with the company that we purchased our bathroom vanity from. They were exceedingly unfair, had multiple issues with delivery of our items, and we almost resorted to small claims court, but decided the stress was not worth it. We ended up picking up our items at the store, instead of risking yet another failed delivery, and Rich met us with his truck at our house, and he and my husband headed over to retrieve our items. He didnt ask for payment for this, he just wanted to help out, and make the project successful. Amazing. 2) During our foundation repair (which was quite extensive, and involved a foundation company out of NH doing injected foam lifting of our slab foundation), things did not go smoothly. The other company over lifted our slab, resulting in additional cost, jackhammering, trenching, and repacking one of our bedroom floors. That company all but walked away, giving us a small amount that they thought was fair to cover the 600 extra pounds of concrete that would have to be removed and replaced when their guy screwed up. Rich figured out how to cut off the overlifted section so that we wouldnt have to remove a portion of the foundation wall, carted away the material, and repoured our floor with minimal financial impact to our overall project. At the end of the project, we ended up with a brand new guest bath (tile floor, surround, tub, and shower shelf inset), 2 new bedrooms, 8 new doors, new pergo flooring throughout, an upgraded electrical panel, washer/dryer moved to be up to code, new ceiling lights, new baseboard heat, and new molding/trim. The final product is stunning, and we couldnt be happier. We are hoping to have them back soon to redo our stairs/railings, and outside deck. Thanks, 3Gs Construction!!

    Carlevale Interiors, LLc
Bill was courteous and professional, provided a clear estimate and was willing to modify the scope of the proposal to accommodate my budget. He did a beautiful job rehabbing my home which had been largely neglected for 20 years. He is attentive to detail, and thinks creatively about how to solve logistical and design problems. Bill did the majority of the work himself, but also brought in and carefully supervised capable subs as needed. I am absolutely delighted with the results - he's made my old home new again! I look forward to rehiring him to complete some more extensive projects in the future.
