    Hogan Tire & Auto
I have used them repeatedly both for my care, and my wife's car.

They are very responsive. On a couple of occasions I have just walked right in, and they have been able to talk to me and look at my care real quick, and give me their opinion. They are great and very professional.

    Bonded Transmission & Auto Repair
Small shop in a very invisible location. Yard looks like a used car lot next to residential duplexes behind chicken wire..showroom is 80's tire/service sta motif with a few stools and very aged reading goods. Write up time is fast, clear...but some questionable advice on brake repair jobs (other shops prices are substantially less-Pep Boys, or more based on decor-Lexus/TOYOTA). I didn't like their automatically sending email "reminders" on this "suggestion" of my car "needing services" every 14 days, and hoky "refer a friend" "10dollars off" smoke signals. Overall, I sense this must be a tough business in a marginal area trying to use the net to re-real prior contacts: it won't work with me...I listen and learn, but I won't be electronically badgered, especially when they were inaccurate-YMMV.

I hate buying cars, but this has been a very good experience.  Jeff Ricard was very helpful and responsive. After we made the deal, he spent an hour going over the car's features (mostly the electronics) with me.  He also offered that I should drive it for a week and come back for another lesson (which I intend to do).  I did take advantage of the financing (a good rate) and Mike was very pleasant to deal with - he told me about the extended warranty plans and the service plans but I never felt pressured.  Jeff made the whole process easy for me and introduced me to one of the service managers.  I haven't had my car serviced at this dealership so I cannot comment on that department.  Two of my friends also bought cars from Jeff and were happy with the treatment they received.  Most auto dealers have mixed reviews, so I found it hard to choose one based on what I read.  That is why I am writing this and recommending a specific sales person.

    Bonded Transmission & Auto Repair
Extremely professional and provided excellent customer service. Very accommodating even over the Thanksgiving holiday. Explained exactly the cause of the problem and treated me with respect. Very honest and I will return.

This was my first time using Middlesex. We have used another local auto body shop for many years, but they were not very responsive this time, so I found Middlesex on Angie's List.  I liked them from my first time stopping in to see if they could do the repair.  They gave me an appointment a few weeks off, but that was fine as my repair was not needed immediately.  Jeff told me that he was sure the car would need more work than the appraisal, but that he would deal with them. Kate kindly set up the rental car reimbursement with the other persons insurance.
They continued to be a pleasure to deal with once the work was being done. They provided me with a nice little rental.  the work was done to my complete satisfaction.  I would definitely use Middlesex again and would recommend them to others.

    Exxcel Auto Repair
I had leak from my car, i took it to my mechanic and he said i will need a new radiator and the cost will be around 600 dollars, my cousin refereed Exxcel Auto repair for me, i called them up and they gave me better deal in replacing the radiator. When i went to do the job they check my car and said that all i need is just a plug and they saved me a lot of money, they were very honest, polite and they took good care of me.

    Bonded Transmission & Auto Repair
I normally take my car to Firestone in Natick but this time I went to Bonded because of its good reviews on Angie's List and wanted to give independent shop a try.   The shop markets itself as "straight answer people".   Both service advisers seemed honest and service was performed within the promised timeframe.   I didn't get the sense they were trying to sell me unnecessary services by using scaring tactics.  Can't speak of the quality of work since I cannot verify but at least the "Check Engine" light is no longer on.
Price is on the high side - even with a coupon I could have saved $200 by going to Firestone.   Also the waiting area is tiny and not adequately heated, also there is very little to do nearby so unless it's a quick job or you can leave the car there, I wouldn't recommend waiting for it.

After paying thru the nose for previous work at BMW I got a recommendation from my auto body guy for Absolute Car Care. First thing I notice is they are hard to find but booked up on work. Good sign. They looked over the car and then they investigated factory parts and aftermarket parts and recommended factory parts. I dropped it off a few days later - they found some extra problems when they did the work but the additional cost was small. They were courteous, professional and less expensive than BMW (well that is easy to do). The cost was well in line with their estimate.
Will definitely go there again. They are m new car guys.

    Haskins Automotive

I love them. I like their integrity. They lay my options right from the time when I walk in; these are my options, these are the possibilities. And then, if there are any problems, they call me in. Sometimes they are a little slow but by-and-large they are right on time. The other thing is I never take it back to them to have it re-fixed.

couple of things I asked them to do. After a week it finally failed to start and they found the problem (new distributor) right away.
It was repaired the next day and I was back on the road again.
John and Pat are the go to guys and truly know automotive repair inside and out. Easy to communicate with and very responsive
ith a very reasonable price to boot.

PS The pricing included additional work such as new fuel filter and a couple of relay switches. so the distributor was about half that price, including a new ignition control module.
