  It was a pleasure working with Rafael. He always answered his phone, was up front and honest with his pricing and the quality of his work was excellent. We had some electrical work done in our front foyer and Rafael made it appear as though the walls hadn't even been touched. Would highly recommend Metropolitan for any plastering/painting jobs. I had even called some other local plaster companies in the Milton area that came highly recommended but they were double the price of Rafael and didn't even offer to paint (which Rafael did). AND he did it all the week of Thanksgiving so that we were able to host!

  Sandro and his team are AMAZING. We've hired them several times for various jobs. Both interior and exterior painting, lead re-mediation and wall repair, among other things. They are professional and trustworthy; in fact I was pregnant during some of the de-leading and I didn't hesitate for a second to leave Sandro and his colleagues alone in my home. They are reasonably priced, yet provide top-notch work. Can't say enough!!

  We had previously hired Jeff Veglia Remodeling for our 3,200 sq. ft. home's gut renovation (4 bedroom, 3, bath, kitchen, new windows, high efficiency furnace, hot water heater, high velocity A/C, modernization of the floor plan, wall reconfiguration, tile, flooring, paint, etc.) and we were extremely satisfied with the price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism of Jeff and his entire team. So when looking to completely renovate our basement into a comfortable modern living space, we didn't hesitate in our contractor selection process. The basement’s existing conditions included an uneven concrete slab floor with drafty and damp field stone walls and many legacy pipes and electrical conduits to address. There was also an existing working field stone fireplace that we wanted to preserve but it was in dire need of an update. We wanted to create a mud room while creating a play space for both children and adults alike. Jeff immediately had ideas on how we could capitalize on the existing configuration while also assuring a dry and comfortable space for all seasons. While keeping our budget in mind Jeff's team doesn’t cut corners on what the job requires. They spray foamed the exterior field stone foundation walls, framed, sheet rocked and took the extra step of plastering for a superior finished look on the walls. The floors were leveled and laid with high quality wood grained porcelain tiles. The flooring provides the look of real wood but has the high traffic durability and moisture resilience of porcelain. It's a perfect solution for a basement environment. We rebuilt the original and very worn pine staircase with red oak. It was also widened with a staggered wall detail for an open modern architectural look. The fireplace was stripped and acid washed and the mortar work redone. We added a new absolute black honed granite mantle and hearth which gives it a clean contemporary look while still respecting the original fireplace stone work dating from the 1920’s. The recessed lighting is all warm dimmable LEDs and the heat is a European Buderus radiator system which provides extremely efficient and ambient heat throughout. Elvis, Jeff’s righthand man on site and finishing Carpenter (and all around rock star) worked with our ideas and paper napkin drawings making them a reality. He built detailed and functional built in shelving and benches for both the main room and the mudroom. In summary, there are a lot of contractors out there. But do yourself a favor and hire a known quantity who has the experience and the resources to back it up. Jeff Veglia Remodeling delivers on the promise. In fact, we were so confident in Jeff Veglia Remodeling ability that we recommended him to two close friends of ours who ultimately hired him. I suspect you’ll be seeing very similar reviews to this one from our friends soon.

  Frank and his crew did a great job. From the initial contact through estimate and the actual work it was a pleasure to deal with Frank. He and his crew are professionals and we were extremely pleased and happy with the way the job turned out, better than we expected. He gave good recommendations about what the job would entail as well as materials that could be used. His professionalism instills the kind of trust that is appreciated in working with a knowledgeable and experienced tradesman. Will definitely use Cobra again when the need arises.

  We had a newly constructed 3 season porch we needed painted. The work hard because of the slope of the ceiling and the rafters. The job was to prime and paint. Tiago and assistant were on time and worked until late to ensure the job was done. Our porch looks beautiful ! Because it was late when they finished Tiago came back during the day to ensure there were no touch ups needed. Very Professional and took care to ensure everything was taken care of before he left. We were really impressed by the work. Thank you !

  I have been working with Leo for over 14 years. He is the most trustworthy, dependable and reliable carpenter that i have ever met. He has not only done personal work for me, but he has worked hand-and-hand with the company i have been working with for over 20 years. I work for a General Contractor that builds high-end custom homes. He is very old school and very meticulous and when he works with Leo, he knows he has nothing to worry about. A++ Rating for Leo and his crew!

  We just bought a home in Milton that had the same owner for 60 years. It badly needed some sprucing up and hadn't been painted in decades. We received four bids and George at Island Painting gave us the best price. They put on two coats of paint all the walls, did all the trimming, painted the built-in bookshelves, closets, and the ceilings for a three bedroom, two floor colonial home - about 1800 sq feet. The place looked beautiful after they finished - I would definitely recommend.

  The services provided were very good. However, the room was messy afterwards, and there was a fine dust on clothing we took outside of the room. I would rate the work done as 5, but the cleanliness was more of a 3.

  excellent.Johnny is the real deal. He absolutely knows what he is doing, practical thoughtful, professional. they spread the work out a bit but that was not a problem for me and he was good about communicating. The interior work was also excellent. His prices are not rock bottom but not exorbitant either and worth every penny for the reliability and expertise both in painting and in other areas. Highly recommend.

  We did a major renovation of our four bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home. The renovation included reconfiguring the living space, new kitchen, new bathrooms, moving and opening walls, replacing every door and window, and skim coating and smoothing horsehair plaster walls from 1928. Essentially every surface in the home needed to be refinished and painted. Working around carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers, granite installers, floor refinishers and my family consisting of a 5 and 7 year old, Rob and his team were consummate professionals. They were respectful of our space, were tidy and cleaned up after themselves every day. And they alsways did their best to minimize impact on our lives while accomplishing the job in a meticulous fashion. They became an extension of our family. We plan to have them paint the exterior of our home as soon as the weather permits. I'm looking forward to adding what I'm sure to be a great experience to my review.
