    JMS Partners Inc
Fabulous job. Couldn't ask for better work. The job was done perfectly, you'd never know it was one closet a few days ago. The 2 workers arrived at the promised time, were great about keeping the house clean, really appreciated them covering their shoes. They were great to deal with and did a fabulous job. On the financial side, working with John was a pleasure. He gave us a great quote and stuck to it. Would definitely work with again.

I had Mario completely finish my entire basement. Before I purchased my home I was told the plumbing in the basement was not legal and he completely gutted and put in a brand new bathroom with proper plumbing. He really knows what he's doing. He has been my go to contractor for every project so far completed in my new home.

    KITCHEN CENTER FRAMINGHAM INC
    .
I had come to the decision of gutting my 50 year old bathroom and replacing it  with a new one and a call was made to The Kitchen Center.
They were courteous, respectable and professional during our conversations. After I chose them to work in my home, details of the remodel were given and all of my questions were answered. .A detailed contracted was issued which included a timetable for the projected work to be done. They continued to answer all other questions throughout the project.
The project began and was completed as discussed. Dust control measures and floor protection was provided which assisted in keeping my home dust and dirt free with all the workers in and out. Another smart move on their part was to put a lock box on my door which allowed the workers to come and go as needed. This also gave me the freedom to do what I needed to do at any time.
I know that there is always a snag during construction projects. In my case it was a tile issue which was taken care of according to the project specs. For this I was greatly appreciative that my best interests were of the upmost importance to the Kitchen Center.
My experiences with the sub contractors,of which were many, were all of a positive nature.
My new bathroom is beautiful and was worth the wait!
I would highly recommend The Kitchen Center Of Framingham for any home improvements that one has in mind.

    Bay State Bulkhead
We are not pleased with the end result of this project.  The issues: the door on the bulkhead leaks, the re-grading around the bulkhead is terrible, and our fence was broken in the process.  I can understand the fence of course, it was cold and it is vinyl - we knew there was a risk pulling it out of the ground to get the equipment into the backyard, so I can write that one off.  However, I cannot ignore the fact that the door on the bulkhead leaks - this is due to poor quality workmanship plain and simple.  They arrived late (due to late delivery of the bulkhead unit - fine) and worked into the dark hours, which we believe resulted in a poor seal around the door and leaks (there was a lot of dirt in the caulking around the door because they were filling in the holes at the same time as sealing the door - in the dark).  In addition, the grading around the door was terrible and exacerbated the problem.  We asked him to come back to fix it of course, but he never did.

    Craig's Home Repair & Renovation
We had a horrible experience with a contractor who performed subpar craftsmanship. We ended up firing the contractor. We needed some one to finish the job and fix the poor craftsmanship. We interviewed several people and decided on Craig. We have been very pleased with our experience. Craig is a PROFESSIONAL. He comes on time, even with our crazy schedules. He goes over his plan for the day, and when you get home its done with an attention to detail and the house is CLEAN. If you are looking for someone to work on your home, look no further. Craig is the guy for your job.

    Believe It Or Not
The doors were replaced fine. I'd asked that he stain/finish the doors, which he agreed to. However, he only applied polyurethane to the outside of the exterior door...no stain or finish otherwise. Also, he did not read the install instructions on the doggy doors, installing them too low so that our large dogs need to scrunch down in order to go through the openings.

    CASE HANDYMAN & REMODELING
The estimate went well, Jim was punctual, professional, and thorough. He was very clear about the work to be performed and the cost involved. However, I elected to go with another provider, because Jim attempted to recruit me (soft sell, but still a pitch) into a multi-level-marketing program. He described to me what the product involved (some acai berry snake oil something or other) was able to do for him, describing a near-miraculous recovery from a shoulder injury, and how much money the top sellers made in a year. I considered this to be completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I invited Jim into my home to give me an estimate, not an unrelated sales pitch for what I consider to be a scam. Had I known he would attempt to recruit me into that program, I would not have considered him as a provider at all, much less gotten an estimate.

    McE's Home Services
Brian, the owner, is far from your typical contractor and I mean that as a sincere compliment. We had a fairly extensive list of projects we needed done ranging from painting to minor remodeling and carpentry. Brian very carefully itemized the projects, worked with me to estimate the time it would take to complete them and gave me a very accurate quote for the services. We had a desire for a very short turn-around, as we are looking to sell our house, and Brian did everything possible to accommodate us. The bulk of the work was completed on time and the whole project was done at, or just under, the quote. On the slightly negative side, there was some sloppiness and lack of reliability in some of the work his crew did. Without Brian being there to supervise, necessitated by our desire to have the work done quickly, they seemed to slip in quality and there was a fairly extensive list of things that needed to be touched up on at the end. That said, Brian handled all of these things with no argument or trouble. A few of the projects, uncovering and refinishing some hardwood floors and carpentry work, were outsourced to great professionals who really did a great job. Being someone who has had a lot of bad experiences with contractors and service providers in general, Brian's commitment to quality and sincere care about our overall satisfaction was a very welcoming change.

    Royal Thermal View Inc.
Found this company on Angie's List. They had done work for me in the past which I had been very happy with (replaced all the windows in my house). I called for a free estimate and scheduled a date for this. John (the owner) gave me a good description of the work and some ideas on how I could improve the home (adding a new front door). We set a time for the work to start and scheduled this. The materials arrived at my house on the day that was specified. The work began promptly on the day that was planned and was done to the highest standards. The entire house was covered with the premium vinyl siding that was decided on. Special gutters where installed and some carpentry work was done. The new door was installed and the updated fixtures where put into place. Shutters where put on last to make the job complete. This company does impressive work; they work tirelessly and completed the job in a timely fashion.--------- I had all my windows replaced the previous year and now the siding. Royal thermal view has my highest rating both in service and quality of materials. A year has passed since this siding project was completed and my house still looks incredible. This was one of the best home improvement decisions that I have made.
