    Kraven More Kids
Kravenmore Kids has been an important part of our family for more than 5 years; both of our boys have attended full-time care there and we cannot say enough about the intimate setting and quality of care our family has received. We have felt so very fortunate to find this North Shore gem, right in our neighborhood. It's truly a wonderful spot, and a magical place for kids to grow, learn and play.

    Christy's Home Childcare
We have been bringing our 3 year old son to Christy's home daycare for the last two years as well as our 8 month old since she was a just a couple of months and have been exceptionally impressed. Christy has been such a caring, and nurturing provider for our kids. Our son loves going and has learned so much since we've been bringing him there. We feel comfortable knowing our kids are safe and in good hands at Christy's Home Daycare. Highly recommended!

    Rising Star Family Childcare
Our daughter attended Rising Star Daycare part time for six months. We had a wonderful experience there. As an educator, I was looking for a daycare that offered some structure, while also providing opportunity for children to freely explore their interests and have valuable time to play. Fariba offers this and more! She is warm, nurturing, welcoming, yet still very professional. I always felt comforted by the updates Fariba would send throughout the day (pictures, texts, and videos). She goes above and beyond to communicate to parents, even providing a detailed menu at the beginning of each week. The children have a variety of toys, books, art and music supplies, as well as a beautiful outdoor space with chickens (my daughter's favorite!) to explore. I loved the different healthy and organic snacks meals that Fariba made from scratch daily; they were a welcome change to the bland, often fried foods served at many daycares and schools. At the end of each work day, I always looked forward to chatting with Fariba and watching my daughter interact with the other children. I found that we shared values with the other families who chose Rising Star, and Fariba created a common community for us. We now consider Fariba a part of our family, and I would not hesitate to recommend her services to other families.

    Rising Star Family Childcare
My association with Rising Star Family Childcare, as a grandmother and retired educator, has been nothing but positive. RSFC provides a close and personal approach to childcare. Each child is treated as an individual. Activities are structured to support each child's development. The children are encouraged to try new things but not forced. Milestones are celebrated by all. Through lots of singing and structured play the children develop language and communication skills while having fun and learning to work together. A great place for a young child to flourish!

    Rising Star Family Childcare
We sent our one and only son to this daycare. We loved it so much that we recommended it to anyone in the area who we knew was in need of childcare. It is so much more than a daycare! Fariba puts her heart and soul into providing a safe, warm, loving and nurturing environment. My husband and I can't say enough about the experience we had here. Our son LOVES Fariba. We will stay connected to her for many years to come because of the love and care she provided for our son. She was especially flexible and did her best to accommodate our schedule. In addition, she provided the most fresh and amazing food - we literally didn't have to worry about a thing. It was the closest thing to having an actual nanny care for our son.

    Rising Star Family Childcare
I have nothing but good things to say. When we first went to Rising Star Family Childcare we did not know what to expect because we had never used childcare before. You can tell she loves what she does. She has a joy when working with children. She has a lot of energy and plays with the kids constantly and gives individualized attention to each child. My son is very shy and she has been able to get him out of his shell. He is now more confident and willing to try new things. She is helpful with potty training and my daughter is now almost completely potty trained. She cooks all of her meals for scratch and uses organic ingredients. She gives baths to the children regularly which is really helpful for working parents. She takes videos and pictures throughout the day and sends them to parents which helps parents feel as if they are right there at the day care. She does a lot of arts and crafts and educational activities. She has a Montessori approach helping children prepare for basic life skills.

    Dianne's DayCare
Diane is wonderful with our 2 girls, ages 2 and 3. She is patient and always happy while running a tight ship and allowing the kids to play freely. She has a safe and big yard which my girls enjoy thoroughly with their daycare friends. She reads to the kids and teaches them their colors.  My girls are always happy and tired after a day at Diane's!!!

    BCJ Family Childcare
When I first enrolled my son in BCJ Family Day Care he was a chubby 11-month-old who was still exploring the world with mostly his mouth. He is now 3 and spends most of his time pretending to be a T-Rex or a Jedi, or a mix of both.  Miss Tila is wonderful. I really cannot imagine having anyone else watch my son. She has been such an incredible part of his life, of our lives. She has created a ideal little world for her charges - one where they can learn, and grow, and thrive. She has a developed curriculum and has a structure much more like that of a school than a typical daycare. The food is homemade and healthy, the classroom and her backyard are safe, pristine, and designed to delight and fascinate small hands and growing minds.  Tila also genuinely adores the kids. She is affectionate and loving and infinitely patient. But she also runs a tight ship - chaos, the bosom companion of all toddlers, never gets the upper hand on Tila. I'm not entirely convinced she isn't at least a little bit magical. My son has always been a very physical little beast and at 2 years old was a little behind the curve on speech development. and wasn't all that interested in doing anything that didn't involve climbing or fire trucks. Tila discussed his communication struggles with me and offered wonderful support and advice. Communication issues combined with my child's inherent inability to sit still made parts of daycare difficult. He would act out, often during seated activities like Circle Time or Art Projects. Tila talked with me about how she was addressing the issue during the day and shared ways I could help him adjust at home.  She asked about hearing appointments and gave me updates on how she was working with him during the day, tips to help him "use his words" more at home. She was an ally and an advocate.  He ended up having that big toddler language explosion we were both concerned hadn't happened yet, about 8 months beyond the average window. Throughout the waiting and the worrying Tila was supportive and concerned, and I can't say how much that meant to me. He talks a blue streak now and practices what he's going to say at Show and Tell in the car on the way to Til'as house. He wants to sing his "baby school songs" all the time. And Tila tells me his Circle Time behavior is exemplary.  I know Tila's help and support, her time and attention, were a major part of helping my son catch up in speech development. A lot of his frustration and tantrums dissipated once he could talk and communicate his needs clearly.  Choosing someone who takes care of your child for most of the day is a huge thing. With Tila I know my son is safe, adored, and nurtured.
