Gutter Repair reviews in Mansfield

  • I highly recommend Bruce Moberg, The Gutter Guy! They were prompt, courteous and left my property clean and neat. Moreover, they were friendly and customer focused...appreciative to have been chosen to do the job. It's hard to find service providers with great people skills as well as work ethic. Thank you Bruce Moberg, The Gutter Guy. I no longer worry about water backing into my house from clogged gutters!

  • Reggie meticulously worked after removing all the previous layers to ensure not only was the new siding installed correctly but that it was arranged in a manner fitting with the house's history and aesthetic. If we had any questions or issues, he was there within half an hour to deal with them (he is local to us). All issues found along the way, as you are expectant to find with a 130 year old house, were dealt with properly by Reggie and his team. We were willing to pay the extra necessary to ensure our house was done correctly and beautifully and felt we were delivered that service.

  • Extremely well. Could not be more pleased with the outcome. Jeff was professional, curtious and very attentive to all our questions and inquiries. His crew was timely, friendly and did a great job in the varying weather conditions during the project. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing these services.

  • Reggie and his team did a phenomenal job from start to finish. We had several projects done and were extremely impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail in each project. Reggie and his crew were always very professional and arrived on time each day. They approached working on our house like it was their own. Communication before, during and after the projects was outstanding. We felt like valued customers, not like we were just another job. Reggie was always upfront about pricing and gave us options - especially important when you have an old house. Reggie jokes that he's the "greatest show on dirt" - we would agree!

  • Jeff was extremely prompt; arriving at the exact time he promised. My husband and I have been looking at different ways to approach the tasks we have to complete on the outside of our home. He was prepared to price the many project scenarios I presented to him. If we decide to purchase any services it will be from Jeff. His prices seemed reasonable and his personality is approachable and down to earth. It is so apparent that he takes pride in his Company and knows his business inside and out. Thank you Jeff.

  • Reggie was extremely responsive right from the start of the quote process all the way through project completion. Every time I contacted him with a question, he always got right back to me. The quote was very competitive. Unlike many contractors who set up the job then leave the project for their workers to do, Reggie is part of the work crew every day of the project, a true on-site project manager. The quality of the work is outstanding and you can tell he takes great pride in his workmanship. His crew is friendly, very neat and organized. At the end of each day of work, everything was cleaned up and at the end of the job, the yard was spotless and clean. We had one problem where he did not think that he would be able to install a corner downspout because of the deck and staircase configuration but he was able to figure it out and get it installed and it looks perfect. I highly recommend St. Germain Construction. In fact I was so happy with the job, that I have them under contract to vinyl side another property that I own.

  • The sales representative was on time, answer all my questions, very professional. After calling because of slight mix up with installation request, they installed within a week. Within a couple of days of installation, first rain storm, leaves stuck until they dried, then they just blew away, looks great! Not sure about winter, I do have a roof rake for the heavy snow, but with this type of gutter it seems like it is perfect for all the New England seasons. I originally was just looking for a closed gutter system on the high side of the house, but the price was very reasonable, and the gutter system is a great concept that I had all the gutters covered  . Great Company , Great Product......Thank you!

  • Fantastic, Bruce came out to the house a couple times to make sure he had all the details. The work was done very well and I thought the price was very fair. I would not hesitate to use Bruce again or to recommend him to others. Job well done!

  • Amid a succession of winter storms in 2015 that produced the heaviest month of snowfall on record, my roof formed massive ice dams and icicles that forced water under shingles and into my walls. Roofers were in such demand that most were unavailable during the worst of it, including Robert Roofing. I used another roofer to clear some of the ice where I couldn't reach and between them and my own flailing away at thick ice formation, I wound up with physical damage to the exterior roof materials that contributed to further leakage and impaired drainage. I triaged the issues and waited until I thought I could get some attention from a highly touted service provider like Robert Roofing for a permanent fix.
I called Robbie on Friday March 13th, mid-day, and left a detailed voice message. Robbie called me back within a couple hours. I explained a bit more and he offered to come by for an inspection of the damage the following morning. Robbie arrived with one assistant mid-morning on Saturday March 14th. He scaled my second story roof and took note of various damages caused by me and a previous roofer to shingles, underlayment and gutters. He recommended replacement of said materials stretching ten feet up from the eves, all across the length of the roof; probably 350 sq ft. With short notice and a potential holiday interference approaching (Tues March 17, St Patrick's Day - big in the Boston area), he committed to a one-day job within the following week. He quoted me a price, in writing, before leaving my home and I agreed to terms on the spot. Robbie came across as friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Within a couple days, Robbie confirmed a Wednesday morning arrival.
Between 7am and 8am on Wednesday March 18th, Robbie and his crew of two assistants arrived. It was below freezing and very windy. We discussed the plan before I drove to my office for the day:
Remove all shingles within the target area (10 feet up from eves, across entire roof)
Remove existing (torn) ice and water barrier
Remove entire L-shape run of gutter along edge of 2nd story roof
Inspect for unseen damage to roof deck
Install new ice and water barrier (6 feet of it, replacing the original 3 feet)
Install new shingles (color matched as well as possible, given 7 years of sun fading on my existing roof)
Install new run of gutter (a thicker aluminum, upgrading what I had)
    Clean up
Robbie was confident he would be finished by around noontime and I believe this held true. The work was complete before I arrived home that afternoon and the result looked very well done. I paid Robbie the amount originally estimated and looked forward to the next rainy day test.
In the weeks that followed the work described above I have been mostly pleased with the work done by Robert Roofing. Foremost, I have no water issues on the roof or in the gutters. My only issue is with the prep/cleanup facet of the job. As the snow has melted away, I have found a trashbag-full of debris including full shingles, long strips of water shield, empty shingle bags, metal flashing, quite a lot of partial shingle/underlayment and roofing nails in my front, side and back yard as well as my neighbor's yard. As I said, it was a windy day and I've no doubt much of these items were flying around uncontrollably. But, I expect that to be part of the job and a thorough scouring of the yard was not apparent. Given the snow cover of the time, I know the standard magnetic nail roller was not possible. I hope not to find any loose nails the hard way this spring. I also had several snapped branches from shrubs below the work area, indicating no protective measures were taken in that regard.
In summary, I am happy with the value and recommend Robert Roofing. In spite of the gripes, I would rather engage a roofer who aces the roofing and communication elements as Robbie did. Prep and cleanup are important, but secondary. Bottom line is the work I could not do, Robbie did very well. As his truck says, "One call brings a roofer, not a salesman." That implies a good experience, which Robbie capably delivers.

  • Jeff came out to bid, EXACTLY on time (which I have found to be rare). The pricing was great, the end job was as well. The only downside was he was a couple weeks later than originally proposed. Due to weather issues.

I would HIGHLY recommend Band B in the future and would use them again
