    F Kempes General Contractor
The Fernando was very easy to work with, had great ideas for redesign and replacement options. His crew did a terrific job with beautiful detail. They also did a great job leaving the grounds completely clean. We were very happy with the work and we've already talked about other projects. We would highly recommend F Kempes.

    North Shore Painting
Our three-story Victorian needed exterior painting and repair work (siding, trim, porch), and as with many Victorians, had a lot of detail work. The team from North Shore did a fantastic job - they were thorough, fast for such a large project, and respectful of our property. The team's attention to detail was extraordinary - before the last day of work, we did a walk around to make note of the handful of items that we saw that we wanted to make sure got done. Without us even needing to mention those to the team, they addressed every single one as part of their final touch up process. This level of attention to detail is not something we have had from all contractors we have worked with. We would absolutely use North Shore again for future projects. Pricing was fair, but not cheap - that said, you get what you pay for and the quality speaks for itself.

    Winter Hill General Contractors
Finished, product looks beautiful. There were a few issue a long the way that could have been avoided with better communication, but Winter Hill was generally responsive when it came to resolving it. I would definitely consider working with them again on future projects.

    MasonWorks LLC
The pace set was rapid. There were a number of annoyances. I was promised a week on the phone to empty the storage area under the porch. I only got a day. Questions about the extent were often answered with "Is it in the contract?" The workmen asked to borrow my tools. When I complained, I was told it was a normal thing to do. Communication was difficult as the foreman was often offsite and many of the workmen only spoke Portuguese. When the main work was completed, I learned about it when the main office called to ask if everything was finished. As my rain gutter still lay in my front yard, I answered no but was required to email pictures before they put it back up. The railing was not painted, but as that detail was "not in the contract," I hired a painter to complete. The painter discovered unfilled holes around the top of the pillar and a number of other minor unfinished details. After the go round with the gutters, I decided to have the painter complete them. After several rains, it was clear the concrete stoop was tilted to drain into the storage area. This time I emailed Masonworks and, after a go around, they said they'd come around. I never heard from them again on that issue. I've temporarily put up sand bags to keep the driveway from draining onto the stoop. Roughly a year later, a contractor for a room renovation noticed one of the pillars bowed in the process of structural failure. At my request, the second contractor shored it up and brought in a structural engineer to evaluate. All three pillars were undersized (4x4 vice 4x6). The overhanging garret above would have eventually fallen onto my front yard. Decision time for me. I decided that I did not want a contractor who could make such a mistake to repair it. I considered but decided against legal action. So I gave the second contractor the work at a cost of about $10,000. That was the end of it as far as I was concerned. However, frequent requests for a review began appearing in my email. So I emailed Masonworks, described the situation, how I resolved it, and asked him to do what he considered the "right thing" by his honor. His first response was that I should call in two weeks when his vacation ended. In a few more emails, I attempted to resolve assumptions he made about what I expected. I repeated that the "right thing" was up to him. I failed. His last "right thing" was to blame me for the structural failure. As far as I am concerned the issue is closed. I cannot recommend Masonworks again.

    E.M.C Company
EMC was great to work with. They were efficient and I was happy with the work that was done in my home. We had to replace multiple headers and a beam during a first floor renovation and I was amazed at how quickly the work was done. Our stairs and banister also needed to be replaced. I showed them a picture of what I wanted the banister to look like and I can't be happier with the outcome, it's perfect. EMC was hard working and easy to work with. Now that we've done quite a bit of work in our home, it is really invaluable working with a company that responds quickly and competes quality work on time.

    D. Flores Construction
David and his brother Joshua estimated backstairs project to take 4-6 weeks and finished in 4 weeks. Great prices, very responsive, very professional, very honest and completes a job from start to end without any missed days. Does not require supervision, gives detailed quotes, and takes quality in his work.

    Handyman Specialist
Mike worked really hard to replace my storm door, which wasn't straight and had rotten wood around it. It came out perfect, including a new paint job around the trim! When he left there was no trace of him except for his excellent work. I look forward to the next time he comes. He also cleans gutters for me every Fall.

    Mack's Painting & Carpentry
Mack and his team took on a small but challenging basement project. We purchased a house with a small finished basement that we knew was in need of work. We knew the floors were uneven, but the severity was masked by a carpet put down by the old home owners. I'm still amazed at the finished product and how nice the new flooring looks. Mack was communicative throughout the project and very professional. His pricing was extremely fair. Highly recommended!

    Handyman Specialist
Mike was great, everything was completed per expectations on quality, cost, and timeline. Mike is skilled and detail-oriented, and he is good at both listening, and explaining, so that he understands your needs and preferences, and you understand how things can and will be done. He provides quotes by tasks, and treats each task as if it was his home project. The outcome was satisfactory, and the process smooth.

    Netto's Painting & Carpentry
Once the contract was signed, Netto started the next day to prepare the site for work. He delivered a dumpster to the property, filed permits, provided contractor license and certificate of insurance, etc. The work was completed in a timely manner. After work each day, the property was cleared of debris and equipment was removed.
