Remodeling Kitchen And Bath reviews in Lynnfield

  • We hired Pro Touch to remodel our bathroom, installing all new tile and building a glass shower. They started our project early to accommodate our tight schedule. We found them to be very professional and excellent craftsmen. We are extremely happy with their work and strongly recommend them!

  • Chris is extremely experienced, reliable, reasonably priced and responsive. He diagnoses and resolves the problem immediately. Very easy to work with if he can’t get the job done he will give you the name of a specialist that can. I have been using him for over 10 years now and never been disappointed.

  • Absolutely a nitmare. I have a family of 2 small children and 2 dogs and the work began in November 16 2016. The contract said he'd be done by Christmas. We had to hire electricians, plumbers and contractors to come and fix the work he did and it cost us even more money. We called Leo Souza many many times and he never returns our calls. I am also contacted the better business bureau, contractors board and attorney general to put this guy in prison.

  • I had Gaby come out to take a look at a small, unused area we had near our back entrance. I wanted to have a place to store
hats, mittens, dog leash, etc that was neat and simple to use. We also wanted to have a place to sit and put on winter clothes before going outdoors.  Gaby suggested a combination cabinet/bench with top storage and bottom drawers and a padded seating area with bead board backing. Instead of building the unit on site, he took lots of measurements then built the entire cabinet at his shop allowing it to be professionally finished using catalyzed lacquer to match our trim work in the house.  Since we were in the process of remodeling the house, he suggested we add a toe kick heater to the area below the bench to help warm a cold hallway on the North side and give off radiant heat to the seating area.  It took a few weeks to design, build and finish the cabinet but this is normal and what we expected. The bench was made using furniture grade materials (not particle board). The doors were raised panels made from hard maple. The drawer slides were high quality ball bearing slides that are completely silent. The cabinet itself is made from
3/4" furniture grade plywood and the entire face frame is made from furniture grade hard maple finished with catalyzed lacquer that matches our Ben Moore paint..  Once the unit was built, Gaby made arraignments to install the cabinet on a Thursday morning at 10:00 am and showed up on time with everything needed to install and finish the job in one visit.  I planned to take the entire day
off to help out if needed but it only took him about 90 minutes to install, trim and finish the job.  The unit looked perfect and we have been using it since 2009 with no problems at all. It looks brand new because of the durable finish that was applied at his shop.

    Impressive workmanship and meticulous attention
to detail are why I keep using Gaby for jobs like this. I met Gaby in 2001 in Wellesley and over the last 15 years, I have had 2 complete kitchens installed by him along with several smaller storage and finish carpentry projects.  With Gaby, he does all the measuring, design, fabrication and installation for his jobs so I know I'll always get the most excellent product possible without having to worry about a "no show contractor"  or poor quality work. He stays in the loop with me on progress and has always delivered an excellent product on time.

I think the real value in using Gaby's services is that his overall knowledge and experience shows through his finished product.
He's straight forward to deal with and is a "no pressure" easy going guy.  I have seen many of the custom kitchens he has designed and built in Wellesley and Weston over the last 10 years and they are just fantastic. If you are looking for old school attention
to detail and prompt, reliable service then I would highly recommend using Gaby for your next project.

  • The renovation of my half bath was my first renovation experience and I was very apprehensive about hiring a contractor because of all the horror stories I've heard. It was my lucky day when I found John Downie of Busy-Bee Construction on Angie's list. John sent me a detailed estimate within two days of viewing the project. His price was fair and within my budget, so I was thrilled because I knew I wanted him for the job. Right from the start, I felt very comfortable with John. He is easy to talk to and was very helpful and patient with my many questions. He had a break between jobs so he was able to fit me in right away. I never had a problem contacting John and he always let me know when they would be coming. John and two of his crew members, Danny and Gary were always professional, hardworking and courteous and you can tell that they take pride in their work, which they should. Everything was always neat and clean at the end of each day and at the end of the job. My new bathroom is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. It was a pleasure working with John and his crew. They were amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for future projects and will have no reservations about recommending them.

  • Chris arrived on time and did a great job.  Went from a double sink to a single, so a lot of new piping needed to be installed since the original pipes did not line up.  Everything looks great and professionally done.

  • It was a pleasure to work with Carl from McCormick Kitchens.  He spent a lot of time with us creating the perfect design plan.  He helped us choose cabinets and gave us excellent recommendations for tile, appliances, etc.  Carl was always quick to return calls and texts and always pleasant to work with.  His contractors were knowledgeable and friendly and well as reliable. The kitchen was completed in the expected time frame and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.  There is not a single thing that I wish were different. We spoke to a couple of other contractors who gave us a design and weren't willing to make any changes, and tried to talk me out of things that I knew I wanted.  It was clear that Carl wanted us to have the kitchen that we dreamed of, and I couldn't be any happier with the final project.

  • Jane and Brandon along with all of their teams of plumbers, electricians, plasterers and painters were top notch. They helped with design ideas and made suggestions that shows their professionalism and expertise. We are thrilled with our new home and are enjoying the beautiful fireplace on this cold fall night.

  • We hired Omega Tile after we had floors put down improperly which was causing the tiles to lift. Thiago and his crew removed all the tile and backer boards. They were able to save some of the tile to be reused. Their work was impeccable from the removal to finished grout lines. They also worked with us on the cost as they knew that we had been placed in a financial crisis due to the loss of tile and work already paid for, which had to be removed. Thiago also worked diligently and timely to finish the job as quickly as possible for us. I would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him to anyone who needs tile work done.

  • Excellent.
The customer service rep was able to find our address and confirm that the tub liner was probably theirs. Water had leaked into the old tub and this needed to be removed. We chose the re-install option, rather than just popping the drain and pushing the old water out. They had someone onsite within a couple of days. The team of two guys put carpets down to minimize foot traffic on the house. They popped the drain and then the entire liner. They cleaned the surface of the old tub and the liner, re-installed and re-sealed it, and then made sure that there was a good seam of silicone on the edges.
24 hours later, the tub  is much better than it has been in quite a while.
