    Excellent. Dave was very professional and did an excellent job. He explained to me what happened and what he would be doing. Fixing the frame on the couch turned out to be a bigger job than either one of us expected but Dave made sure it was done correctly. Once completed he talked to me about how to prevent it from happening again. It is nice to find a person takes the time to explain the situation and the care to make sure it is done right. He saved me a lot of money by not having to buy a new couch.

    Durkins worked with the manufacturer to get the best possible price given the amount of carpet yardage required. We had a tight installation deadline, and their team worked 5 long days to make sure that it was done on time. The workmanship in piecing the rug in place, hiding seams, and working around the spindles was excellent. Durkins also suggested a design for our drapes that came out beautifully. The upholstery work was perfect.

    I was THRILLED when I went to pick up my side table.  The table is beautiful once again.

    I asked for a slightly darker oak stain, but not too dark - at drop off, we spent some time discussing the color, and it was exactly what I wanted.

     I will absolutely recommend Restorers Without Borders to friends and family. I plan on using them again.

    First off, it was the Nashua NH Bernie and Phyls. My beef with this company is, I suppose I fell for their wonderful advertising, which boasts: We pay your sales tax; free shipping and delivery the next day. No!  Because I have an address in Mass., I had to pay the tax.  And my sofa, coffee table and end table are not being delivered until November 2nd-ish. Also, much to my surprise, I had to pay the tax and delivery costs up front - luckily for me it was pay week as I usually don't have that extra money [and it threw my budget off].  The delivery cost is $109.00, which I think is outrageous!  I learned that the reason for not getting next day delivery is because I shopped in the "bargain basement", if you will.  I guess only high-end purchases get the next day delivery treatment.  I chose this store because I bought a sofa there 20 years ago [at the Cambridge store] and just had to get rid of it now!  I thought that was impressive. I have no idea of the quality yet as I have not received my products. I'm just hoping that their quality and comfort are still impressive.

    I had called Dan last minute before the holidays, but he was still able fit us into his schedule. Our piano needed a lot of work, as it hadn't been tuned in many years. He gave us some options on what he could do to get it back in shape and we followed his suggested course. After the tuning we were all happy to hear the tone quality of the piano. He was very pleasant and provided a lot of insight into our old piano. We will use his services again.

    As mentioned, we purchased the piano online, and though I had the physical address for the movers to pick up the piano, I neglected to get a contact phone number from the seller. Ken Cormier handled the situation and his movers were able to pick up the piano and deliver it even though I made their job more complicated than it should have been. They really came through for us, and I'm not sure other movers would have been so thorough in following up on this. Can't recommend them highly enough!

    We haven't actually purchased it yet because we are waiting for April and hope to get a rebate. We have got printouts from them. The showroom is fantastic. They have a huge display and they are very knowledgeable about everything in the showroom. We had to wait for five minutes but it was such a good experience. We came home with the actual price of what it would be, and the prices were the same, and in some instances, better than other appliance stores.

    They came recommended by other people. They were very professional in their work. We have just been very lucky. There were no problems. Their work was top notch. Their pricing was in the ballpark. They weren’t extremely low and they weren’t extremely high too. I knew when they gave me a quote that the work was going to be done and done right. I felt that their price for the last job was average. We were very happy with the laminate floors that they put in. So, we are in the process of probably doing the downstairs depending upon the price. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

    2 months ago we bought a crib from them and had a great experience--the staff was helpful, the transaction was easy and the crib we wanted was in stock so we were able to bring it home that day. We just tried to assemble it yesterday, however the holes in the front panel were drilled incorrectly so it wasn't going together. We thought for sure we'd have to go through the hassle of contacting the manufacturer to get a replacement. On a lark I called the store to see if there was anything they could do for us--I couldn't find our receipt and the box it came in was long gone. Since it was an in-stock crib they had us come in and were able to replace the defective piece that afternoon, despite our lack of receipt or box. I feel like they went above and beyond what was expected of them and would definitely purchase more products from their store.
