    MMP Construction Inc
When we started our plan of remodeling, the first thing we did was the complete roof replacement including kitchen vent & duct pipe installation to the roof, and new installation of attic ventilation. MMP did not only completed it just as agreed but also very efficiently. The crews were friendly, professional, and careful. The jobs were carefully managed and implemented effectively. I was impressed by Matt, who is the manager, and he does an outstanding job in managing the crews and the progress of the situation, and the communication was clear and always to the point. We then moved to initiate a search for a contractor of two bathrooms remodeling after completing the roof and attic vent, MMP was one of the many candidates. Matt has had not only the best idea and proposals but also shown an impressive & professional sense of evaluating the project accurately, including the possible structural modification as well as a competitive estimate of the cost of the build. His proposal included a rebuild of a wall of the bathroom to expand another one adjacent to it. Matt accepted to use my schematic design image (made with a software tool) and a spreadsheet list of the fixtures that I created - as many as fifty items including TOTO, Grohe, American Standard, Panasonic, and IKEA - to start the job (later changed some of them due to local plumbing code compliance) After beginning the bathroom remodel project, Matt shared what jobs will be done with us timely and efficiently via text so that we feel comfortable enough in knowing what is going on while living in the house of dust & noise from remodeling. The crews, Zen and Mark, were very courteous, extensively experienced, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication, sometimes with songs of 80s rock music. They ask me when more precise specifications are needed and notified me when they feel advance notifications are required. When a change is necessary due to inspection, they informed me and clarified what and why. I have never felt uncomfortable in living together with the remodel job which has lasted over four months. The completed two bathrooms were stunning, just as I imagined. Matt, Zen, and Mark have proved their strong & thoughtful expertise and lived up with my request patiently until completion. Great job. A home remodeling project cannot be successful without having a trusted partner, and my experience with MMP has led me to be glad to share my confidence that MMP has a credential to become your reliable partner to manage a construction project together.

Honey-I-Want-Done-List complete thanks to this team. I was more than willing to write a review when asked. As someone that use to work in the construction field all their life until becoming hurt, it should not be taken lightly when I say I would recommend them. I must admit I was up butts the entire time asking how they were going to approach each situation and what ideas they had. Each time I was impressed. The office woman really kept on top of everything. I will definitely use them again in the future.

    Strongers General Construction Inc.
The people from Strongers' did excellent work. I purchased a 40-hour general contractor deal from Angie's List. I made a list of what I hoped to get done and they had that completed in the same day. This included repair animal-damaged sheet rock and rotted wood around my 40 year old windows. Then I had to figure out what needed doing next. So they repainted my bathroom and did a wonderful job. I will hire them again later in the year for more painting and other work.

    O'Sullivan Installs, Inc.
When I met with the salesman he laid out how it would go and what the approximate time frame would be. The whole project rolled out exactly as described and in the fastest time frame promised. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor by far.

    Muldoon Window and Door
When my husband and I purchased our home at the end of May 2015 we were thrilled to finally be homeowners. We loved the house and couldn?t wait to start painting and decorating?really making it our own. However, the project we were most concerned about and anxious to get taken care of was the replacement of the windows and doors. The house was built in 1955 and the windows, old aluminum ?porch windows,? were an eye-sore and energy inefficiency throughout the house. Although the doors were a few decades newer, they were horribly framed and hung, which caused further concern for energy costs and security. We knew that this was going to be our first major project and with a house made of brick, we were especially nervous.
As a middle school teacher, I couldn?t wait to use the summer vacation to really accomplish a lot around the house. I found Muldoon Windows and Doors while searching businesses in my area. I filled out an online estimate tool and awaited a phone call. After having just dealt with a lot of different businesses during the home-buying and moving process, I wasn?t sure I?d get a prompt call back, but I was wrong! Three hours later, Quentin Pelliccia called and left a friendly and professional voicemail. I called him back a few minutes later and explained the situation. It was Thursday evening and he offered to come over Saturday morning to assess our home.
From the minute we met Quentin, we felt very comfortable. He was friendly and thorough in answer our questions. He gave us options and asked clarifying questions. He explained what the results would be based on different choices. He measured and took notes all while explaining his process and the timeline for materials to be ordered and the labor to complete the project. Any time I had a question, I was able to reach Quentin by text message. He kept me in the loop regarding the status of the factory order and his schedule of working. He knew that I was a teacher who wanted the projects done by the time the summer wound down. He worked tirelessly and pleasantly on a Saturday and Sunday for 10 hours at a time. When the doors came in a few weeks later, he offered to come work a 10 hour day during Labor Day weekend! He was true to the contract and there were no surprise costs even
if he needed some extra materials.
It is clear that Quentin Pelliccia of Muldoon Windows and Doors truly knows his trade. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the industry. He is a prompt and clear communicator. He is an honest businessman. He is a great planner for projects
that can be challenging. My husband and I love our home, but now we can truly rest easy knowing that we have energy efficient, secure, and aesthetically pleasing windows and doors.  I wholeheartedly recommend Muldoon Windows and Doors.

Called Pros because they had decent Angie's List reviews. Manny came out to the house right away to do an estimate. He was friendly and assuring. My husband and I decided to sign with Pros and give Manny a deposit for the project. He assured us he would be the project manager and everything could be done within a specific time frame of a couple weeks. He told me he would be in touch to set up a time for the power washers to come out first, before any carpentry or painting would start. This all seemed to make sense.
I never got a call. I called Manny several times to schedule this, as we needed the project done by a certain date. My husband and I never received a confirmation on a date, however one morning a truck showed up at the house with power washers. That was fine, at least we thought the project was started. The painters came a few days later, very nice women. However, they had no clear direction of what we wanted for the project. It was difficult to explain everything we wanted done, since the carpenters hadn't come to do their work first. Manny never showed up at the house during the project. One morning two carpenters showed up and I had to call out of work to allow them into my house so they could work on the interior doors. They didn't even know they were doing doors as part of the project. That had never been communicated with them.
One carpenter had to make two trips to Home Depot to buy supplies and called both times to my cell so I could give a credit card number to a store employee over the phone. I have had a similar exterior project done at my previous home, including light carpentry, that never required me to give a credit card number. The whole price was including in the project. So this was quite odd and clearly no one had the funds to front the money for items that I thought were included in the project.
I called Manny to explain that I need to know when to expect workers at the house and inquire why he hadn't been by at all. He never picked up. I finally called the main number and a receptionist told me Manny had lost his license and been arrested for too many driving infractions. Now I was thinking, great what have I gotten myself into. The receptionist assigned me to "another project manager" Sander. He did actually give me a call within a couple days and even showed up to the house to check on the progress and work.
When the painting was finished the painters said they were told to collect the remaining money. But I told them I wanted to meet with Sander to go over the final project. They actually still hadn't finished the job: never touched the shed that was outlined in our signed contract, and there were paint splotches all over our deck, plus the carpentry on the deck hadn't been finished. Sander came out and agreed that the project was not complete. The paint had already started to peel on one side of the house, which he attributed to the humidity.
A new crew of painters and carpenters showed up the next week to "finish" the job. They completely re-sanded that side of the house that was peeling, re-primed, and re-painted. After what felt like an eternity the project was done, although there is still paint residue on the side of our chimney. The painter offered to paint over the whole chimney, but we prefer the natural brick that was there already. So now we just have some lovely beige paint on it.
We were never offered an explanation or discount on the project. The whole crew acted as if this is a pretty typical project that they do. What I found annoying was with the project I had done previously I had a wonderful manager who took care of everything and with this company I had to play project manager, and had to stay home from work a couple days to oversee the work. It was sloppy and unprofessional. It shouldn't be my problem that one of their employees got arrested, or that Pros didn't take the responsibility to assign me a new project manager to oversee things.
I will say the two women who painted were quite nice, as were the carpenters.
I am generally disappointed in this experience, but really just relieved that it's over.

They are definitely one of the most popular construction guys around here. They were excellent. I think I am going to have them do another job. He has done some small work for me but he has also done a lot of work on some of my recommended customers. They did some small work but it has been fine, it has been great actually. I kind of wish that they did my work when I had my addition, the kitchen 8 years ago, but at the time, I didn't really know of them. They are 'A'. Their communication was good. Their communication was great, pricing was reasonable and they followed up. He told me that the job was going to be done in a specific time and he was very close to that time. With the experience I had prior, he actually did a very good job. We will definitely will be using them moving forward for any projects that I have.

    O'Sullivan Installs, Inc.
I called O'Sullivans in October.  I received a prompt call back and appointment to show me what I was getting on the install.  A few days later, the owner Tim came over and measured all my windows and answered my questions.   The windows were ordered and I was told they'd be in within 1 month.   I didn't hear back from Osullivans until I called them in late November, and was told the windows were still not in.   I then called again in December, and was told the windows were in, however, due to a high volume of customers, I would have to wait.  I would not be around during the Christmas holiday, I'd have to wait until Jan. 5th to get them installed.
It was a very cold and windy day when the guys came to install my windows.  They did a great job.  I'd recommend though, to take down ALL window hardware before they come.  I left some stuff on the wood frame and the guys had to remove, but I was unable to put them back up as the fastners were bent.  No biggie, but just a note.
I noticed the difference almost immediately of the difference with my new windows.  And today, I lost my heat, and my downstairs living area does not feel like Antarctica!  Yes, it's still very cold, but with the new windows, the wind isn't coming in and whatever warmth that is still in my house isn't going out the window.
