Tree Service reviews in Littleton

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • BioMass replied to my on-line inquiry within a day, they were out for an estimate the following day. The price was reasonable. They sent a written estimate by the end of the day and later on sent a text to let me know if I accepted the proposal, they could be here in the morning. From start to finish it was only 3 days with written estimates, signed proposals and services performed. While they were here they also consulted on some other tree issues I have and sent an estimate for that service by the end of the day. All of this is remarkable considering some other places didn't even bother to return a call or respond to the on-line inquiries. I will use them again.

  • They were busy but were here in 4 weeks. I watched entire job, which was done safely and with attention to detail. Friendly & professional crew. Ground an additional two small stumps for free. Included in price were the crane, the stump grinding, and a police detail.

  • Pretty well, overall. Sticker shock, of course, but lifting the lumberjack and 8 trees over the top of my house, I was glad they were as skilled and competent as they were. There were some communication challenges and some deadwood could not be removed with the equipment that was used. Part of the work was subcontracted out.

  • They arrived for the appointment on time, diagnosed the situation and provided quotes for the various options available for treatment. When the work was completed, the results were excellent. The trees looked "natural" after the pruning and no yard debris was present. After multiple rounds of snow fall this season, the branches are still in good shape (i.e. none cracked or fallen), especially on the pine tree, which typically suffers from the weight of the snow.

  • Todd was cheap but super unreliable and a terrible communicator. Not a single part of the job was done on time - weeks and in one case - months late, with no explanation. The quality of work was OK. He also miscalculated his estimate by my ~1,000 dollars. (Total work was $5k)

  • In one day with 2 people, they clear cut all of the overgrowth in the area I designated.  After removal of all of the visible portions of the brush, they went through the whole area and dug out all of the root systems they could see.  They even pulled down poison ivy that was winding up some of the trees.  They also cleared a section near a rock wall that was overgrowing some nicer flowers, and managed to spare some of the flowers that were there.  They also removed all of the brush from the property, which was important for me as I did not have much place to put it.  As for scheduling, Ronaldo said he was about 2 weeks out, and would get back to me.  I hadn't received any email or phone call within the two weeks, so I emailed him back and he was very responsive once I checked back in.

  • Ben and his crew is amazing.. True professionals, extremely courteous, and did a fantastic job. We had huge front yard covered with dead plants and trees. Could not even see the front street from our window! When requested quote, Ben came down to view the  area and gave us the best competitive quote based on our specific needs. Prices beat the other two service quotes!

In return, we got excellent results!! They cut down so many trees, removing/pruning dead plants and branches, trimming and chopping surrounding trees as we asked for. Ben and his crew did fantastic job at our house and left the site spotless. I will highly recommend and will definitely call again for similar services.

  • The tree was split, and Rich advised my husband to install a cable support, which my husband has done with other large trees. Rich came out in the middle of a huge rain storm and didn't even charge for the trip. Rich has come out several times for other things and is generous with advice. Rich, we appreciate your advice but at some point, don't you think you should charge us? :-)

  • The crew was punctual and very professional.  The owner was super knowledgeable when he did his estimate and we were so impressed with the entire service.  The pine tree was well over 60 ft tall and the crew worked fast, efficiently and safely.  We will be suing Greenleafs again in the future.

  • I left a message requesting an estimate on the work we needed in late April.  Tim promptly called back that afternoon, and arranged to stop by the next day on his way between jobs.  We walked the property together, and he thoughtfully questioned where our septic and well lines were located, so that he could determine what type of equipment he could bring in to work on the tree over our shed.  Knowing that we were on a tight schedule & needed to minimize damage to the lawn, as we were planning to put our home on the market soon, Tim was very helpful and promised to fit us into his schedule somehow.
He provided a very detailed estimate per tree, and explained just how he planned to address each one - to prevent damage to our lawn, he used ropes, pulleys and climbers rather than bucket trucks as other services proposed. It was pretty amazing to watch them take down the tree over our shed.  Carefully bringing it down and straightening it as they went, a section at a time.  They were very precise, professional, and fast - Time an his crew were here for about 2.5 hours, they took all the downed wood, small branches, etc. away for us, did a great clean up job, and as a team, were well coordinated - they clearly were experienced and knew what they were doing, and each of the crew seemed to have a great deal of respect for Tim - and he for them.  They were a great team, and did a great job.
Weather wasn't very cooperative, with rain and heavy winds arriving every time Tim put us on the schedule.  He stayed in touch over the 2 weeks that passed, and assured us that as soon as the weather gave us a break, he would get things done for us. True to his word. he finished earlier than expected on another job, and the weather had cleared that afternoon, so he called and asked if he & his crew could come by, as he knew we needed to get things done quickly and had other work we needed to do that was dependent on having these trees out of the way.
We are extremely pleased with the work that was done, and thrilled at the pricing and timing. Other companies we called were either booked for the entire season already, unless you were going to include other landscaping services, or they wanted to charge much more - 1 estimate was double the price that Neufell's charged, and that was just for taking down 2 trees!  Others also insisted that we needed to use a crane or bucket truck on the tree over our shed and the hanging branch, though it would tear up our lawn, brick sidewalks, and part of our patio.  Tim's crew did such a great job that we were able to have an open house 1.5 weeks later, and there is absolutely no damage to our lawn, patio, or walkway.  We definitely will call Neufell's with any future landscaping or tree service needs here, or at our next home, and have recommended them to everyone we know.
