  • She was there about a month ago getting a tune up and checking everything including her tires. They take her right away whenever she goes out there.  They're very clean and very attentive.  And not like most mechanics, they listen to her when she tells them something.

  • They're really good. I like their honesty when they were doing the work. The first time I went there, I had an old car and they said, if you are going to keep this car for a long time, you should this, that and the other thing. For the moment, its safe to drive and you don't need to do this although it would be a good thing to do. I didn't do the repair right away. Then I did and the car lasted quite awhile. I just like their openness about you really need this but you don't necessarily need that. They're not trying to push something on you that you don't need. It turned out fine.

  • I don't have anything but good things to say about the Quick Lane and the Service Department at Gervais Ford in Ayer.    Mark Fermanian, Dean Farnum and Jenn in Service Department are wonderful to work with, as well as Rick who is in charge of the Quick Lane. Mark, Dean and Rick have always been responsive to and my car's needed service and repairs.  I used to drop my car off in the morning for routine care and GF would give me a ride to work.  My cars have always been ready when promised..... GF has partnered with Hertz Rent a provide discounted rentals to customers whose cars will be in the shop for a full day or overnight.

  • Done when said and did exactly what I wanted to.   Inspected rear brakes that I was told by others needed to be replaced, but they were fine and only needed to be adjusted.  Very trustworthy

  • Went just fine, was as expected. I frequently use Boch Honda to perform oil changes on my CRV. They have the best price around for a synthetic oil change, especially when there is a coupon available. The downside is it takes an hour, but if you know that going in, it's not bad. Plenty of seats to watch tv, free wifi, and a few computers. There is also free coffee. Sometimes I'll drop it and we'll go out and run errands in my husband's car and they always call if they finish the work early.

  • I accidently hit a large rock on a curve in the road on a Sunday morning blowing my tire.  Had my little donut put on but could not find any place to get a tire on a Sunday.  I started calling around that Monday and quickly found my tire at this Town Fair.
    I spoke to Jon who was very pleasant and asked all the right questions about how old my other tires were since my car is all wheel drive.  He said he could have the tire there the next day.  I made the appt for noon the following day.  I carefully drove the back roads to get there and I felt there was something else wrong but did not mention anything.  I was greeted quickly and had about a 10 minute wait before they took my car in to work on.  I walked around a bit waiting for them to complete the work and when I came back, they called me over for a discussion.  Apparently they had found additional damage and did not want to proceed without showing me.  They took the time to show me the bent lower arm under the car and explain what would probably be involved.  They said they could not put the new tire on because it would ruin the tire very quickly and not be safe. They did not try to sell me anything else or send me to any shop - they advised me to call my regular dealer and be careful.  Throughout the ordeal, everyone was very courteous and I was treated very professionally.  They were very concerned about my car and welfare.  The tire was a good price and they would match any on-line price also. I would definitely use them again.

  • I drove in the automatic garage doors and was greeted by a Valet, he walked me over to a touch screen to check in. I was quickly called by name to sit with a service adviser to discuss my needs. The adviser gave me a coupon for a free breakfast in the cafe and I gave him my cell phone number so he could call me. It wasn't long and he called me to let me know the van was in the shop and the reason the tire light was on, was that one tire was low because there was a nail in the tire. The mechanic put a plug in the tire at no charge. While he was rotating the tires he checked the brakes and found the front brakes would need work soon and asked if I would like to take a look. The mechanic showed me how worn the brake pads were by comparing them to a new set, they looked to be about 80% worn so we decided to replace the brake pads while I was there. I went back to the waiting room until the work was done. I received a call a short time later and the work was done. I paid the bill and was walked to my vehicle that was still inside the building. Overall it was a great experience.

  • I like them. I think he does a good job. His slogan is "If you don't need it, you won't get it here." And so far, over the course of 20 years, I can confirm that if I didn't need it, he didn't try to sell it to me. If I did, he was very honest about telling what I needed and why.

  • Gervais Ford in Ayer is just down the road from us, so we took our vehicle there for the inspection sticker renewal. They failed the vehicle for both ball joints that checked out good on regular phase maintenance at Acton Ford last month, with just a couple hundred miles driven since then. Gervais quoted a price of around $450 for mandatory replacement of both ball joints.
    We took the vehicle back to Acton Ford, who examined the vehicle and showed us the numbers on the gauge for both ball joints to PROVE that our vehicle is within specs. One was nowhere close to bad, and the other side had some movement but was still well within specs. As a result, we passed safety inspection and did not have to pay $450+ for unneeded repairs.

  • It was crowded and did take a little while, but once we sat down and started the whole negotiating thing, it was actually relatively painless. They seemed very service oriented and it was not a lot of haggling.
