Completely broke my heart when I purchased a sweet little kitten there. A week in he was weak and lethargic... took him to emergency vet 2 times. They showed signs of inflammation and possible infection. Returned him to the shop for observation and Dr. Smiley said it was normal and nothing to worry about..... poor kitty was still sick.. broke my heart. What should of been a joyful addition to my family turned out to be a nightmare. Totally unprofessional and after reading the reviews its seems as though they sell a lot of sick animals.. Truly disheartening, disgusting, disgraceful

Thye just go out and spend half an hour. I will use them until I retire. It also depends on who you pair up with. My dog likes this person as well. You don't have to worry because they're bonded and insured which is the main thing. The key thing is, she has a key to my house, so she comes in every day. I've been doing this several months now. She knows her well enough that she texted me one day at work and told me she didn't like the way that she looked and took her to the vet.

It is a website. An online retailer for pet food and products. They do flea and tick treatments and pet treats. They have everything. I mean absolutely everything. If you need something in the pet food aisle. They have it. Their prices are and I shop online a ton but I get my pet food on Chewy. Their prices are similar to competitors sites and I think that some competitor sites have good prices. I am just as happy with Chewy. I have never had a problem finding something on their site. When I press the button, it usually takes 2-3 days. What I get you can not get at the grocery store. I have never had to call them because I have never had a problem. I have automatic delivery and it shows up when I tell them too.

I have two dogs. They are great. I love it here. It is always available, since you do the washing yourself.

    Unleashed By Petco
My cat is on a special diet so he eats a special cat food.  My cat has allergies and its really hard for me to find food for him.  This is the place that always has his food.  He also has to have special kitty litter.  They have that too.  If they're out, they will order it for me.  They're always really helpful in there.

I highly recommend them.  It is a pet food store.  I’ve been using them since they started probably 10-15 years ago and I used them probably every month.  They are just really friendly and easy to deal with business that keeps your record of purchases so if you can’t remember stuff you bought so you can duplicate it, they know and they are very pleasant to do business with so I don’t have any reason to go anywhere else.  I go to a "B" on the prices since prices are way up there but "A" on everything else.

I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of this store.  Usually, when you walk into a pet store, you're assaulted with the "zoo" smell, but except for one very hot day when their A/C wasn't working, that smell has been almost non-existent, even when the store was full of puppies and kittens.  The staff is always walking around checking on the cages, and as soon as they see that one needs to be cleaned, it gets cleaned right then.  They are also always handling the animals that come into their shop and they allow others to handle the animals as well as long as the animal has not yet been sold, so all of the puppies and kittens are very well socialized.  There was one litter of kittens that came in that was very frightened and skittish.  And even though I had already purchased my kittens (we had to wait a week before we could bring them home because they had yet to see the vet who visits the store every week), they allowed me and my older daughter to pick up and hold the skittish kittens to get them used to being handled by people.   By the time we were able to take our kittens home, only one kitten from that scared litter was still very skittish about being held.  We were also able to make appointments for the kittens to get the rest of their series of immunizations with the store vet at the store.  In this way, we only had to pay for the immunizations and did not have to pay for an office appointment.

    D'Tails Pet Boutique
In terms of price, quality, responsiveness, and punctuality, I cannot say enough good things about Dawn and the individuals she hires.  My partner and I travel a lot, sometimes for weeks, and what I want, what everyone wants in a pet sitter, is someone you can trust to care for your home, love your pets while you are away, and have the good sense and resourcefulness to act intelligently should a crisis arise.  Dawn and her crew have all of that in abundance.   What I liked best about D'Tails is that you see what you get.  Dawn has a shop in the neighborhood so you can meet her and her crew first hand.  When you walk into the store they ask you how you AND YOUR PETS are by name, and that in itself is so comforting.  It is obvious that Dawn attracts and hires the best quality people--mostly young, college-educated women--who are well-spoken, well-groomed, and well-mannered.  So, I knew first hand that they know my animals and that they are taking good care of them.  My cats were always happy and relaxed when I returned from a trip, the place was clean, and I could just pop around the corner to pay my bill.  No worries.   One of Dawn's other comforting and priceless qualities is her resourcefulness and common sense.  Once we were overseas on vacation and our key did not work.  Dawn texted us immediately, I contacted my neighbor and gave Dawn their contact info.  Within a very short time, Dawn had contacted the neighbors and was inside our place with a new set of keys.  She sent a picture of my cats to give me extra piece of mind.  So, she is super resourceful and able to work things out.  It really was like having another me back home to do things the way I want them done.   She and her crew really love the animals in their charge and enjoy taking care of them. As for the shop, when my cat needed high fiber food, she special ordered it.  When I recommended a litter, she started carrying it.  My only problem with the merchandise is that a lot of it is made in China.  It would have been nice to see more American-made stuff.  It is out there.   I love to keep it local.  Despite the fact that I can get pet supplies more cheaply at Target or Petco, I went out of my way to shop at her store because I value small businesses and what they bring to a community.  I love that Dawn is a small business owner, that she is not a subsidiary of a big impersonal corporation, and that she is not just a shop, but a valued member of our community who just happens to do what she does better than Petco ever could.  She brings the personal touch.   Sadly, Dawn repaid my loyalty with gossip, pettiness, backstabbing, and a show of such ingratitude as I have never experienced before.  She turned on me and my family in the most unneighborly fashion and flew her psycho-flag just long enough for me to reconsider my loyalty and to take my business elsewhere.  I had overlooked her gossip and backhanded comments about others and laughed it off as one of her eccentricities--we all have them.  Then I found myself on the receiving end of her sorority-girl brand of mean and, well, it's a shame.  Apparently she doesn't need my business and is doing quite well without it.  So, more power to her.  I hope this is an isolated incident because I would hate to see Petco's Unleashed as the only option in the South End.
