We hired Lucas through a realtor friend who had used his services in the past.  He gave us a free estimate and was very professional and knowledgeable in answering our questions and meeting our needs.  Work started promptly and on time.  His crew had to remove old carpeting from two of the bedrooms and hall. They also removed laminate from the first floor master and were able to salvage most of it for future use in the work area of our basement.  Baseboards were removed carefully for the installation of the new floors.  All work was done quickly, and the areas completely cleaned up.  Top notch oak flooring was installed and sanding done with a minimum of dust. Three coats of polyurethane were applied, and sanding/buffing was done in between each application.  All work was done on time and the floors were finished beautifully.  We have had many comments on how great the floors look.  We highly recommend Lucas for the quality of workmanship, professionalism and highly competitive prices he offers.

    Tom Eaton Wood Floors
We got several quotes and Damian was the lower of the quotes, by a few hundred dollars.  He showed up on time to estimate the job, I gave him a deposit of $200 for materials, and showed up when scheduled to do the work.  All was done as promised, the floors look great.  We are real estate investors and flippers, so we will use this fellow again on our next job.

    Happy Floors
We closed on our house in Hyannis Friday Oct.19, 2012.  We wanted the floors done before the movers unloaded our furniture.
A realtor recommended Happy Floors specifically Alex Cheglakov.  He arrived at the house Friday the day of our closing.  Alex together with Bogdan and Pavel started the floors the next day--Saturday.  I stopped by Sunday unannounced.   What I saw took my breath away!   All 1400 square feet of flooring was sanded and varnished, like new.
And we made even more work for these guys.  At the last minute we decided on hardwood floors in the kitchen.  They had to remove the stove, refrigerator and the old tile as well.  They worked all night staying until 4am Sunday.  The new  floor in the kitchen matched seamlessly.  Another coat was put down throughout the house a day or two later.
These guys work hard.  Give Alex, Bogdan and Pavel a chance you will not be disappointed.  We want them to replace the linoleum with tile in our two bathrooms next.

    Fratantonio Flooring
1.The floor went OK. After it dried after a few days, workers came to paint the room. That's when all the problems began:The two painters rolled out to cover the floor some paper (when I described it in detail to a floor refinisher he said this was 'asphalt paper'). I supplied two cans of white paint: one primer for the walls and ceiling and a second one for the trim, and one gallon of blue paint for the walls.I saw that no prep took place: no masking tape for the trim or three windows. Prior to agreeing to the work Mr. Fratantonio said he would close off the hallway before sanding the walls. The workers who arrived had no plastic sheeting. when I asked them if they were doing this they asked me for a bedsheet. Finally they went out to a store and purchased plastic and blue tape.Because they showed up for work about 6 to 6:30 every evening normally, and often stayed until 8 or later it was really disruptive. I never knew when they were coming. Several times Mr. Fratantonio phoned me and said he or the crew would be coming at 1 or 3, etc., and they did not arrive until hours later. Painting the walls took SIX visits over many evening hours. Not because the room was so large but because the workers did such a sloppy job that they had to keep going over and over the same trim and the walls. Even the last worker spent more than 1.5 hours scraping paint spatters from the base of the floorboards, touching up blue where there was white trim overlapping, and vice versa because the previous workers had done such a sloppy job. Workers also tracked white paint on my black hex tile in my master bath, installed the previous month, and left spatters of blue paint on the beige tile on both sides of the toilet in the same bath. When they removed the paper covering the floor, I discovered 9 partial circles the size of paint cans imprinted on the wood floor, as well as lines, that the refinisher I consulted with said were and quot;oil marksand quot; from the underside of the and quot;asphalt paperand quot; used to cover the floor.Mr. Fratantonio responded angrily when I said I had and quot;consulted with another floor refinisher about the circles, and days later brought this up again. He claimed the circle impressions had occurred because his workers were standing on the paint cans. Not so==they were using my footstook. He refinished the floor again and said the can of polyurethane cost him $129, intimating I was getting free work.Mr. Fratantonio also complained a number of times that I would not allow his painters to wash their rollers, brushes in my bathroom. Not only were my two bathrooms new (they were just completed the previous month by a contractor) but I have a septic system and put in expensive wood furnishings in the master bath. As far as I was concerned this was my choice--he must have complained 3 times about this.
Throughout the painting work, Mr. Fratantonio's role was basically limited to phoning me at night, asking me how the work went, and asking me if I was ready to and quot;settle upand quot;. HHe took no responsibility in assuring the quality of his workers product.
When the work was finally done and I paid Mr. Fratantonio the agreed upon $650,and we discussed the above, he stated he found it difficult to find sufficiently skilled painters, or hire people who are truthful about thier skills. I wish Mr. Fratantonio had told me before I agreed to pay him to sand and paint my bedroom. I spent three miserable weeks sleeping on my sofa.
