The location has its issues because the building is old. But if you sink in to the massage under the comfort of the blankets, you will emerge refreshed and ready to move.

  • If there is one thing I don't appreciate is poor customer service.  I was putting up with the chronic pain because i knew I had an appointment for the 30th.  What I did not anticipate was the email I received from K as a result of my email and my yelp:
    "I wanted to address a few things from your yelp review.
    First of all if it makes you feel better to go online and complain by all means. But know that it does make us want to work with you. 
    Lucy is a fantastic therapist with almost a decade of experience. You yourself said that it was a good massage. So you are either lying or you were lying.
    Second, you are in Hudson, which is NOT our area. You can give referrals to whoever you see fit. 
    It seems very petty to complain about a hallway that we have no control over, online. Maybe you have too much free time?
    Regardless we have blocked you from ever booking with us. We did as soon as you gave us a poor review on yelp. Typical groupon customer! You want everything but will not pay for it and then b**** and moan. 
    Oh well, you are not our ideal client and you can whine all day long on yelp if it makes you happy! 
    Maybe you should've used up your voucher before complaining about a hallway!
    Good luck and hopefully you find a place that doesn't give you the willies. But we are only concerned with our clients. And since you are not, we do not care!

    Maybe its just me as a consumer, but I did not feel safe in that hallway, and if I didn't, maybe someone else wouldn't.  And Im not squeamish about those things.  Whether or not they have control over the hallway, the safe experience of their clients should be something to consider.  I have had folks contact me when a review goes wrong or if Im not happy with service.  But the above is a copy and paste from the email I received from them within 24 hours of my very unhappy email telling them I did not appreciate not getting a call to tell me why they were canceling or telling me about the change in management and policy.  I am a senior blogger and reputable consumer.  No, you dont send a flame mail to an unhappy customer without giving yourself time to cool off.  No, you don't accuse your clients of lying without giving them the benefit of the service and at least calling them.  Poor reviews in the past - I have always gotten a call.  No, I wasn't a regular client, I was a potential client.  And they did not mince words, they don't care. If you are a potential client, just make sure you are careful what you say and where you say it.  You just don't treat potential clients like this.  For a spa provider of zen... this is a questionable provider.
