    Century Auto Wholesalers
Two muffler heat shields had come loose under my car causing a rattling sound. Century Auto Services repaired them. If I had gone to the dealer they would have replaced them with new ones. One new heat shield cost what Century Auto Services charged me to repair two of them. They are honest and charge fair prices

I bought it off of my daughter’s sister-in-law’s husband. He had taken on a car by the company he works for and they didn’t need it. He asked me if I wanted it, because I had an older car that I was ready to junk it. I usually drive them into the ground. I said sure, so I took a look at it and bought it for $8,000. It had 37,000/38,000 miles on it. I bought it and the next day I brought it down to Mazda to look at it. I watched how they worked and I was very happy. One of the little valves they had, they don’t use a distributor anymore, they use little gadgets. One of them looked like it was going to go, so they replaced it. Two years later they replaced the other two. Usually they last 75,000 miles and they did pretty much. The first one was replaced when I bought it. It was like, take it out now or wait until it goes, so I had it changed. They checked everything, the belts and all of that to make sure it wasn't rotted or anything. They charged me $5,000 for that. Ever since I’ve got every service statement they have, I think I’ve got 2 files. I can go back to any date and tell you what was done. Never been in an accident and it has got 132,000 miles. They did great jobs. I have never had the car quit on me because of a faulty part. They check everything ahead of time, the prices are always good.

The car runs like a top. They send us notices when it has to come in for work and we bring it in. The one we wanted had gotten scooped up by somebody else, they had already put a down payment on it. It had 8,000 miles on it, so he gave us a deal that was just as good. The one we bought only had 40,000 miles on it. It was $21,000, it I had bought that new it would have been $28,000. That was the first place we checked. We went to other dealerships and came back to them.

Some dealers, I am afraid to buy a car because I don?t know how truthful they are about the cars. Hyundai is interested in helping you. They were truthful and they had to have been because we?ve had no trouble with it. They have given me great service since then. When there is an oil change or a 6-month checkup, they keep an eye on the brakes. When they do an oil change they take a quick look at everything else.

When I took it into another place to get inspected, they said the muffler was kind of rotted. You have two choices, Mazda says you always replace it with Mazda parts at $1,500. The guy that puts the muffler system together, piece melt. He welded the whole thing together for $500. The whole muffler system. This is what they do for you, they tell you the difference. If you want Mazda parts, they will put them in, but you have to pay money. Everything is stainless steel, not just sheet metal, stainless steel parts.

I took it to Mazda just to have them take a look at it. I said, I?m going to have it inspected, bit I know you don't inspect things, but can you kind of go over it. Light bulbs, anything that is out or burnt and they did that.

I only go there for gas. The price is set by the state and you have to pay cash or by check, you can’t use a credit card; because the gas company loses 5% or 6% off the charge card. I gave them two $20’s and got a dollar back. I live just down the street from them and I know the owner. They don’t have the kind of service that I need for my cars, so I bring them to the dealership that is right by them. He does the inspections for me, he has been doing it for years.

Had terrible service @ Marcotte today.  I brought my Ford Fusion in @ 10:30 for 45,
000 mile  ?The Works? I gave Jim my cell
phone number, asked him to txt or call me when my car was ready.  By 3PM I had not heard from Marcotte so I
called and was told my car was in fact ready. I came to pick it up about 4:15
and while the cashier was completing the transaction for payment I looked at
the Vehicle report and noticed several red areas ? one for wipers and 2 for
Brake linings.  I asked for an
    explanation.  Michelle indicated that these
red areas needed to be fixed/repaired.
Despite my car being at the service department for 5+ hours NO ONE
called to let me know this work needed to be done and if I had not looked the
vehicle report over before I left the facility I would not have known.
What was the point of having a 45,000 mile check done,
having service find areas that needed attention and NOT HAVING ONE PERSON CALL
ME to tell me and ask what I would like to have done??
Michelle pleasantly offered several options ? leave it
overnight and have the work done Wednesday or leave it and have it done Tuesday
evening.  I chose to leave it.  I sat down with John to review how to handle
the repairs.  He assured me he would call
when the work was finished.  Once again that did not happen.  I called at 7:30 and asked if the car was
ready.  Rob told me it was not and it
would be done Wednesday AM.  I let him
know I was not happy with that response; I had been told it would be done this
evening ? he put me on hold to check on it.
Came back on line and told me yes it was ready, the slip was just left
on John?s desk and no one had the courtesy
    to call.
This is not the first time in recent years my husband and I
have had issues with the service department.
It seems to just be going down hill.
We have been very loyal Marcotte customers for more years than I can
remember ? not only buying cars from you but having our service done there
    also.    I?m sure I could
take it to a private facility such as Veryl?s in South Hadley and get quicker,
    more satisfactory results.
    Very disappointing!

Immediately after purchasing the car, my mother noticed it would stall out. These stalling outs resulted in more than one near-misses while she has been driving it. These are warm starts, after a brief stop. You have to gun it just to get it going again. We tried to take it back for repairs. He insisted that there is nothing wrong with the car. He has not fixed the problem. Previously, he told her that her other car would not pass state inspection because of a small rust spot. It did pass inspection, and there was nothing wrong with it. He just wanted to sell her a car. I would not do business with him ever again. I and other members of my family have personally have had poor service experiences at his shop, so we have stopped going there. According to the state lemon laws, he should have done the repairs. He has stonewalled us on the repairs.

Stopped by the shop unannounced and asked Dan to have a look at the maintenance required light on my 2004 Honda CRV. He reset the light in 15 seconds for free and I was on my way.
I have been going to this shop for 20 years. Never had a bad experience. Dan is always super professional. They charge less and do a perfect job. What more can you ask for? I don't know where i'll bring my cars if he ever retires.

Nicky D's is a small family-run business. Nicky handles the garage, his wife and daughter the office. They are very friendly, business-like people.  They buy good cars at auction, bring them to perfection in their garage, then sell them for a fixed price over what they paid, so you can find some incredible deals, depending on what they paid for the car. We got a Toyota Camry XLE  for a price that you'd think was good for a basic Corolla. They provide firm warranties, and do both mechanical and body work in their garage, but ONLY for cars they have sold, which surprised me when I recommended them to a friend.
The cars are fixed price, so the nightmare of The Used Car Salesman is nonexistent here. The two cars we bought were fantastic. They only carry very reliable makes and models.

They're excellent. At first they said it was going to be like all this money, but then they went and investigated. They went to the manufacturer of the part. It ended up costing me like $80. Before, it was going to be like $400 or something. They took the time to investigate. It was a sensor. They saved me a lot of money. I was very happy!
