    Mike's Car Care Inc
I've been a loyal customer of Mike's for 9 years, as is my husband. I count myself very fortunate to have finally found him. I am a woman, so I'm used to dealing with sketchy car repair people. I almost expect that they are going to try to screw me.
Mike gets me in when I need to get in and my car is always finished by the estimated time, and finished RIGHT. His prices are reasonable, and I am never surprised by the bill when I go to pick up my car. Mike is not an alarmist but will tell me when something needs to be done. He doesn't push me to do any more than I brought it in for - but he might recommend a certain service by such-and-such a date. This most recent visit was a little different, though - he called shortly after I dropped it off and told me that I had a safety issue and that he strongly recommended I not drive the car until it was fixed. I know Mike well enough that if he said I shouldn't drive it, then I shouldn't drive it. I knew he was NOT just trying to make me ok additional work to inflate the bill - He has more than earned my trust over the years.
This was about 4pm on a Friday afternoon. I had to leave on a road trip very early the next morning. Mike said he would do everything he could to get it done that night. He said again that he really didn't want me to drive it until this problem was fixed.
Well, I didn't have high hopes. The service center closes at 5pm on Friday - he had less than an hour. When 530pm came and went, I tried to figure out how I was going to leave the next morning.
Lo and behold, a little after 8pm, Mike called to say it was finished. He, the owner, stayed for 3 hours after closing to get my car back to me so I could do my road trip. Top THAT, people! You can't. Mike is amazing.
I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, for any car/truck repair. You'll be in good hands.

    Westboro Toyota
I had taken my car to Westboro Toyota on a number of ocassions and had been very satisfied.  However, I took my car in for a repair (faulty coils as it turns out) and I was told I only had 3 mm of break pad left and needed new breaks.  I declined the break repair, preferring to go to a local mechanic.  My local mechanic informed me that my breaks were fine.

    Don's Service Center
In my attempt to save some money on auto service, I discovered Dons Service Center on Angies List (I have only had the car serviced by BMW in pervious repairs). I told Dons Service my car was idling roughly and asked if they do service on BMWs. They indicated they did. I dropped off my car on Wed morning, Nov. 5 and had to rent a car since I expected this repair may take a couple of days and have no transportation means to and from home. I called them on Thursday afternoon and they indicated they were having trouble getting my car to run smoothly and complained that BMWs are hard to work on (tight spaces in BMW engines). On Friday afternoon, I called them and they were still not able to fix my car. This meant another two days of expense for the rental car. Finally on the following Tuesday (5 working days later) they called to tell me my car was fixed. I turned in the rental car ($313 rental fee for seven days). The next Monday, a fuse blew on my car (never did that before) causing it to run really rough and I called Dons Service to find out what could be done and what caused it. Dons Service indicated it was probably a short in a component in the engine. On their instruction, I went to the hardware store, bought a fuse, and replaced it. Although my car has functioned properly since then, I am constantly concerned about this abnormal occurrence. Two weeks ago, my service engine soon light illuminated, and I brought it to another service center. One of the problems was that someone had switched connections on the evaporator sensor and oil pressure sensor (yet, another $90 for this diagnosis and repair)! I seriously doubt BMW service would have made this mistake from past repairs since the last time BMW touched my car was 1 years ago and I can only assume Dons Service made this error. Plus, the other service center cautioned me that the oil pressure sensor may become faulty due to the mismatched wires. Stay tuned on this. While Dons Service may be able to perform basic repairs such as replacing brakes on BMWs (not sure on this stament), the problems elicited on my car were clearly out of Dons Services league. They should have done the right thingtold me up front that they are outclassed by these types of problems or stopped the repair and sent me to another repair shop more adept at BMW engine repairs.

    Farrell Volvo
Oil change, air in the tires. We did both cars in the same day and it took less than 1.5 hours. Farrell does an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone.
