Jesse and his crew were always very professional and pleasant. Everyone seemed to take a lot of pride in their work and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with whatever they did. I am very pleased with the end results. They are a bit expensive with a 20% markup on all materials. They are very upfront about this so as a customer, this should not come up as a surprise. They took care to keep my house clean when they entered, during the work, and when leaving. They paid attention to a lot of little details, which I very much appreciated - too many to write here. I have had some bad or just so-so experiences with contractors before. They have restored my faith! For customer service, attention to quality, and teamwork, I give them an A+.

He explained to me the most effective way to install all the equipment I had purchased.. Open concept kitchen came out perfect. Dave explained how he does things correct the first time around..he has seen to many hack jobs and has had to fix them once on site.. I was very happy about his work!

Joe and his team are really great!
His team came up with some great ideas for a very old, out dated bathroom in a tiny space. He was able to produce a great result while really keeping the budget in check. Due to the very small space, many other contractors wanted to move the walls but Joe's team came up with an amazing solution that involved changing the layout and maximizing the space which really saved a lot of money and hassle.
Joe ALWAYS answered his phone or returned my calls within a few minutes. Absolutely amazing service and I wish everyone I did business was like that. He also maintained a pleasant demeanor even when things went awry. Despite multiple snow storms, the project was kept on track and he consistently gave updates even when I did not ask. Very impressive with his communication skills and the fact that he really went the extra mile installing small things that I requested.
Overall, I would use Joe again and highly recommend his organization. Honestly, I cannot say one bad thing about how this project went.

A late start, but turned out beautiful. Jesse is a lovely man with so-so time management skills. However, he would come and make sure the job got done. Liked all but one of his subs. Overall a quality job.

He was very thorough, he did a very good job, and we are very happy with it. He was very friendly and did what we wanted him to do. His workers were a little rough; they were not as tactful as he was. He did a great job, we had to have him rebuild a cabinet because the refrigerator did not fit and he did a great job doing that.

Over the next 11 months, after the chimney work, we had several phone calls and meetings with Mr. Soucy to discuss progress on the project and were given various dates of completion which were never met.  When we visited Mr. Soucy in his shop in November, 2011, seven months after we signed the contract, he was able to show us 11boxes.  These were cabinets in name only.  Rather, they were only the outside box frames, with no molding on the outside, no runners or drawers on the inside, and no doors. The average to that point was 1.5 boxes being built per month and nowhere near completion.  Throughout the eleven months, Mr. Soucy gave us date after date as to when he could finish our kitchen.  None of those dates were met. On numerous occasions, he told us that he would come over to take further measurements, but he never did.  At the end of eleven months, Mr. Soucy told us that he could not project when he could complete our kitchen. At the last meeting at the end of February, Mr. Soucy  still said that he could not say when the kitchen would be done, and that his son and grandson were no longer working with him (in effect, he was indicating that he did not have the help to get the job done).  Although we entered into this contract in good faith, this project was not approached in a professional manner by Mr. Soucy, as written in the contract. We told him to end the project and that we wanted to be reimbursed for the $12, 500 minus the cost and labor involved in the chimney work.  Mr. Soucy never contacted us after this.  I then went into his shop to discuss this matter and was told that I had no right to walk into his store off the street without an appointment.  He was extremely rude at this time and said that he was still willing to finish the project.  I told him that I no longer had any confidence in his ability we have not received any money back from him.

This contractor is local and known in our community. Estimated that job would take 6 - 8 weeks. After 6 months, we had to fire him. Job was not completed, the work was very sloppy. His crew was careless and caused extensive damage to other areas of my home. We went without a shower for weeks after being told it would be a few days. We lived with a huge hole in the back of the house for weeks - we had birds flying in our house! Contractor admittedly lied about obtaining a permit - said it was filed, but he hadn't a chance to pick it up. Found out after 8 weeks, he never filed. The agreed upon price kept escalating and we were continually "shaken down" for additional payments until we had to hire a lawyer who advised us to fire contractor. When we did, his crew/thugs threatened us with physical harm and to tear our home apart. Police action was required. In the end, we settled out of court and are still discovering how poorly the work that he did complete was done. A real nightmare from the very beginning.

Steve and his crew were extremely pleasant to work with. We had great comfort with his experience. We'd never done work at this level before and valued his opinions when sought. He has a great work ethic and takes pride in the final outcome. He has good control of his subs. I was very pleased with the level of communication. He's connected in every sense (in person, phone, mobile phone, email) and that helped make turnarounds on decisions much quicker. The overall project took a bit longer and cost a bit more than originally planned for. The additional cost was due in major part to additional items added to the project or our choice to choose a higher finish. He honored and respected our house and the details in the finish indicate his attention to detail and preference for a quality finish. I would hire KBC again in a heartbeat.

Aside from the plumber in the complete house renovation it went very well; Plumber delayed project by a month; He will not be rehired

He gave an estimate for me but I ended up not using him. They returned my phone call and were very, very prompt.
