  • Great, as usual! Brad gave me a beautiful new soaking tub, gorgeous wall titles, nice new floor and a new toilet. I'm so happy with my new bathroom and it feels like a fancy hotel every time I shower! Brad has done my basement, my back deck, and he's always happy to finish my other minor repair list while he's here. He provides feedback, thoughts and ideas but is always respectful of what I want, no matter how crazy my idea may sound. He doesn't know it yet but he's coming back soon to put in a new dishwasher, repair some rotted wood, and replace a storm door.

  • I hired KFG Concrete Construction and Landscaping in the fall of 2016. At that time I gave them a $1,000 deposit, and got a verbal assurance that I would be one of his first customers in the spring of 2017. This was important because he was putting a concrete patio around my in-ground pool. My ability to open the pool was contingent upon the patio being completed. It was a rainy spring and that did cause a delay for KFG Concrete, but when July came around, it became clear that weather was being used as an excuse and that obviously my project (even though KFG had been holding my deposit since the fall of 2016) was low on this company's list of priorities despite the promises that were being made. Finally, after several phone calls "pleading' to get the work started, KFG came out and did the work. That work was poor quality. The general pour and shape of the patio was done well, but the detail work was not at all performed the way a professional should do it. Pouring the cement resulted in the skimmer moving off-center so my vacuum no longer fit. KFG had to grind it down and thankfully, the vacuum does now fit but not at all as well as it used to (installing vacuum attachment requires much wiggling to get it in straight). The pool ladder anchors are not flush with the patio, and are raised to varying heights. Some are an inch, some 2 inches. KFG's owner, Kevin blamed this on the customer getting the wrong pool ladder anchors. Of course, he told me this AFTER the pour so there was little I could do about it, even if it were true. It isn't true. The pool anchors I purchased should have been flush with the concrete according to a neutral company who inspected the work. The pour itself was done on two different days, and the result is two different colors that do not match. KFG's excuse for that the concrete has not had time to cure, and that when the sealant was applied, it would all match. This was an obvious lie, the colors don't match. Not only that, it did not match the color we selected from KFG's brochure. KFG's owner even admitted that, and said that he called his supplier and yelled at him for that. Further, the cleanup after KFG was complete was very poor. Chunks of cement that was scraped off remained hardened on the sides of the new patio. My white fence was covered in dust, and my driveway, where KFG put a dumpster to put the old cement from the existing patio that was demolished, was ruined. There are cracks and deep grooves, and KFG's explanation for that was that their subcontractor overloaded the dumpster and that KFG "yelled at them for that." KFG admitted to these issues, and volunteered to let me keep the final $1000 I owed. KFG also agreed to refund an additional $1000. For months (August through October) I exchanged emails with the owner (which I would be glad to share with anyone contemplating using this company) wherein the owner promised he would refund the money. Several excuses later, the company reneged, which again, speaks volumes about how they treat customers. Promising one thing, doing another. I would not recommend hiring them.

  • Called because of cracks in foundation. After a thorough inspection and a comprehensive and easy to understand explanation, it was determined that no work was necessary at this time. I didn't even get charged for the service call. In a time where many would try to sell where nothing is needed, this degree of integrity is refreshing to say the least.

  • Josh and his employees did a great job. Josh is very professional and shows up when he says he will, communicates all the details and/or changes of the job. I would not hesitate to hire Harris and Company Landscaping again. The patio, stone walls and walkways are beautiful.

  • It went great. Gaby reviewed the job and provided recommendations on the best way to do them. He quickly scheduled us, he arrived on time as scheduled, and did great work. He matched the existing molding in one area where some had been removed during previous work. He was very nice and treated our home with respect. The work areas were left clean and without debris.

  • The Project should be completed as scheduled this week.  We couldn't be happier with the way the entire project turned out and it was a pleasure working with Ron during the entire process.  Starting with the initial visit and the Quote Ron listened to what we wanted and with his professional experience and suggestions we developed a plan.  During the entire rebuild process Ron kept us informed of the progress.  He took the time almost daily to walk through what was done and answered all of my seemingly endless questions.

Ron manage the project right from the start.  His people are professional's who showed up as scheduled and on time.  The trash and debris was removed daily and tools and supplies were neatly organized at the end of each day leaving the clean.

Ron and his crew are craftsmen.  Their attention to detail shows in every detail of the project.  We had an oak staircase installed.  The detail around the staircase is outstanding.

This project wasn't cheap.  You get what you pay for.  The project went perfect. It will finish on time and on budget.  The quality of all the work that went into this project was exceptional.  There wasn't once during the project that we worried about the work that was getting done.

With this project done we have already hired Ron to remodel our entire Kitchen.  That project should start in August.

  • There was no water but needed I needed cracks filled so a radon remediation system could be installed.  Radon level was 7.7 before the cracks were filled.  Its now 0.9.   I'll be monitoring the radon level for a year to see if it goes back up but I believe that filling the cracks resolved the radon issue.   Prior to starting the work he explained that the filler would not exactly match the concrete.  This isn't a problem since the basement will be refinished and the floors covered.   He took his time filling the cracks so there was no messy over flow and made sure that the filler was level.   The filler did settle a little after a day but he left me with plenty of filler so I could level them out where needed.   Grinding concrete makes a ton of dust.  The way he setup, the dust was collected and he was and there was no mess.
$700 may seem like a lot to fill cracks, but there were a lot of them and a few of them were very wide.
    Overall I couldn't be happier.

  • Vinny and team cleared an area of my side yard that had a 6 foot pile of dirt, rocks and debris that was left when we had a new well dug. The leveld the entire area about 200 sq ft, put down loam and grass. Also mulched the downslope area that was anther 40-50 sq ft.
Bought a deal that was $319 for 8 hours of work. Ended up paying an additional $260 for materials. Overall, they did a great job I was a little nervous because they hadn't had a ton of review but my experience was perfect.
When I bought the deal, Vinny responded right away, we set up a time and he had a crew at my house 7:30 in the mornign and got to work done perfectly. Will definately use them again!

  • We were looking for a general contractor to handle water damage repair. B&B was quick to respond to our inquiries. Unfortunately they were booked up beyond our target date so we needed to go with another provider. We'd contact them again in the future if we needed work done.

  • I'd had a plumbing issue the evening prior, water flowing in the basement from washing machine drain line when we did a load of laundry or flushed a toilet.  Was up late in the evening cleaning the basement.  Called some plumbers in the am and was ultimately referred to Parker sanitation.  Asked if they'd be able to make it out same day to take a look at my problem, they had a good idea of what the issue was right over the phone.  Jackie came out himself at 11 am same day, and sure enough his prediction was right.  A clog in the mainline.  Fixed it in a matter of minutes once he found the cover and cover dug up.  And after discussion we determined that (unfortunately) the company who conducted the Title V inspection the prior fall when I bought the property...had cut corners which contributed to the cause of the issue.  Tank needed to be pumped (which it shouldnt have seeing it had just been pumped in the fall and only 2 of us in the house), Jackie advised that the tank should have been treated as well to promote good bacteria, so he did that as well.   I have no doubt that I had I used a company like Roto Rooter they'd have bent me over backwards to address the issue.  Going forward I know now how to diagnose and fix the issue myself if need be.  There is no question I'll be using Parker Sanitation for my septic service going forward.   Thanks again Jackie....
