    The gentleman came out promptly to inspect the dishwasher. He determined that the seal had gone bad & ordered a new one. He secured the washer back in place & cleaned up before leaving. He returned in a week to install the new seal. (Delay was due to conflicting schedules) The door had to be removed & riveted back after installing the new seal. He had researched how to do it before he arrived. Highly recommend!

    They were easy to schedule and kept me informed as to when they arrived. They quoted $445 on site which is much more than I anticipated, Wanting the washer and dryer installed ASAP I said go ahead. When they finished I asked them if they left the shipping bolts. They said there were none. I asked if they tested the machines. They hadn't, flippantly claiming that if they did not work it was the appliance and not their work. The total time at the house was about 45 minutes (charged $445). First time we used the washer, the whole machine started to shake violently enough that we shut it down. I looked in the manual and lo and behold there were shipping bolts (keeps the drum from spinning when shipping). I called them back, they came out, were apologetic about their mistake (different person), removed shipping bolts and testied the washer for an entire cycle. All is well now, but do not plan on using them again given their pricing.

    Overall I'm satisfied. Ed showed up within the time range specified and called when he was on his way to confirm. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it. He also shared a few things to keep an eye on moving forward.

    We were very pleased with Tony; he did some great work for us; he was the best. He helped us hire his electrician and that guy was trouble. He installed a used circuit breaker; he bashed a hole in the walls around the cable in the side of the electrical box instead of going in through the back. I was not impressed with that so we will not be doing business with him again. I do not know what his name is but he was Tony's guy. Everything but the electrician was fantastic. He was very professional, very polite and they did not leave a mess. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and the dishwasher is working great. Just look out for the electrician. We had to chase him a little to get him to respond.

    Items were freezing in the fridge side of the refrigerator/freezer. Bill Burow responded promptly and came out for a service call. After examining the appliance, he advised me to set both the fridge and freezer temperature settings lower for a day to see if that fixed the problem. His logic was that if the lower temperature setting worked, then we could avoid the expense of ordering and installing new parts. If it didn't work, it would help him diagnose which parts were malfunctioning.
    However, even with the lower setting, fresh food kept freezing. Using that information, Bill diagnosed the problem, and ordered a replacement control box kit (which includes an electronic control, freezer thermostat, refrigeration thermostat and motorized damper assembly). He installed it after the part arrived a few days later. Problem solved.
    Bill is a pro. He returns phone calls and emails promptly, he is personable, he shows up at the agreed-upon time, and he clearly knows his trade. He explained how the fridge worked and what was going wrong in terms I could understand. After having earlier negative experiences with other repair services that charge an arm and a leg just to show up (Sears, in particular), it was refreshing to find a local professional who got the job done. Bill is my new go-to guy.

    Bill Burow came to the house to look over  the dishwasher and determined the problem right away.  He did not have the part needed, but called immediately to the supplier to get it.  He picked it up the next day, returned as promised and on time, and completed the repair.  He's punctual, thorough, very friendly and takes pride in his work.  The only reason for the B grade on price is because the part was rather expensive.  I'd recommend him to anyone needing an appliance repair.

    We left Burow Appliance a message through Angie's List.  He called less than 24 hours later.  After I described what had happened with our washing machine, he told me he was fairly certain it wouldn't be worth fixing.  I told him we'd like him to take a look to be sure before we invested in a new one, and he agreed to come the next day.  He showed up right on time, took the washer apart, showed us exactly what was wrong, told us how much it would be to fix it and that it still might not work.  He didn't push us to do any work and only charged us for the service call.  We appreciated his honesty!

    Water was leaking from the bottom of my freezer drawer. I called & left a message. The call was returned right away. He was willing to come that afternoon but we scheduled for the next day. He arrived on time, immediately diagnosed the problem (a blocked drain), fixed it and was done in an hour. I highly recommend and will use again.

    Called Bill and received an immediate call back.  Fixed an appointment day and time.  Arrived promptly and fixed my dryer.
    The part for my dishwasher latch was not in stock -will call when available.  Professional and pleasant-will use again.

    I would definitely use Burow again. They were very professional, friendly and courteous. They were pleasant to speak to on the phone and the estimate of the work was accurate. The gentleman was very nice when he arrived at the house and throughout the job. He is how companies used to be years ago. He seemed to enjoy his work and understood the meaning of customer service. A+
