Very well - We have used this practice for over 25 years. The staff (doctors, nurses and desk personnel) is incredibly caring and responsive. Very convenient to book appointments or order food by phone or on-line. Be sure to ask for senior discount if you are over 65 (doesn't apply to everything but every little bit helps.) They also utilize a portal (Petly) to upload lab reports, etc. which is also very helpful.

The veterinarian there has office hours and has rooms there where they board pets. They also treat and rehab injured wildlife. They have classes and educational programs for kids. They have school groups in there all the time. It is a great place. They have tours for kids and the kids  can see the hospital where the animals are treated. They just built a great big aviary that has two sections to it; one side is for owls and the other side is for haul hawks and other birds of prey. They come in with injured wings or a big problem is they eat a mouse that has eaten rat poison so the owls and the hawks are poisoned. They also get water birds like swans and ducks that have eaten lead shot from shotgun pellets they find on the ground and then they get lead poisoning from that. They have a great big tub, I think it is for cattle watering and stuff. Swans also rehab in the tub. It is pretty great. They use a lot of volunteers that are high school students on the weekends -- because they are open on weekends. They do have internships for veterinary medicine students. The boarding is so important because people can put animals other that dogs and cats there, like turtles and bunnies.

Shivaun, is a real animal lover.  She stayed at my house and took care of my two cats for a week.  She  kept them safe, fed, and groomed,  played with them and kept them happy.

I returned to a neat house and two very happy cats.

She is super caring, dependable and responsible and took my pets care seriously.

I would not hesitate to trust Shivaun with my house and my precious pets again.

Thank you, Shivaun.  You put me at ease about going out of town.

We have been using Leash Leader for over two years to walk our two dogs. They are very dependable and trustworthy. They come in all weather and have never once cancelled service due to weather or staffing. Our dogs really light up when they come to the house and can't wait to go out on their walk with the pack. Sometimes they go in a big group to a large park, sometimes just a two-on-one walk close to the house, but either way they have have fun, get out of the house, and relieve themselves while we are stuck at work away from them.

We didn't like them as much. I just felt they were a little colder. They were more like a business. They were not personable. We weren't very happy with the way they handled things. Their prices were pretty high.

Though friendly people, the environment that the cats and kittens were living in were horrible. It was located in a family home that was cramped with furniture where the overwhelming smell of dirty litter box hit you when you walked in. There was feces all over the floor, adult cats and kittens were sick- sneezing and eye problems. Very unclean environment.

We had a very odd phone conversation. She returned my voicemail promptly, but that's where the good experience ends. I explained how we heard about her, and that we'd gone the extra step of looking her up on Angie's List. I explained that our dog was elderly and required medication and an overnight stay and help getting to a stand some time,s and that sometimes there are bowel movement accidents as a result. All of this is par for the course for any animal owner or aficionado, but  Shivaun's response was fairly negative and she seemed disinterested in talking with us further. Really surprising that someone who had bothered to mail a flyer advertising her services wouldn't be interested in discussing possible options. Flyer is in the recycling bin and we'll explore other, more positive and pet-friendly, options.

They are incredible. I've been using them for 15 years. I like everything about them, their professionalism, their competence and their caring. I think we've had two dogs put down with them. It was tough but they were good.

Jan was very professional and reliable.  She visited our home before we left on our trip and made sure she met our pets and understood their needs.  The cats received excellent care and were in good health when we came home.  She had a little trouble finding the fish food and had to call me to describe where it was.  One of the house plants did not receive enough water.  I will use her again, but will ask her to water twice, not once while we are gone.  Her main goal is pet care and she was excellent for that.  My cats liked her and did very well.

I filled in all the details above.  The personnel at Pooch Palace are exceptional and we recommend them highly.  Our dog loves to go there!

Though the format won't allow for many dates, our dog has gone to Pooch Palace during many days of the last four years.  We plan to continue to take our dog to Pooch Palace!
