    We have hired VMA for several projects. 1)The first project is to install a landlord meter for the public area in a MFH. The 2nd project is to upgrade the outlets, lights,alarms and fans in a two-family house. After I talked to Lorraine to make an appointment, Victor and Tim always showed up in the property on time. They checked the existing environment carefully and send me the quote shortly after the visit. On the day of the project implementation, their workers always arrive on time. Punctual is the first impression I got for this group of electrician. During their work on our site, they always keep us posted about the progress because we���re not living around that area. If there was any change, Lorraine always communicated with us promptly. They were responsible for pulling the necessary permits from the city/town and passed the inspection with any problems. Therefore, we���re very satisfied with their projects. 2)Express services: we also contacted them for a few emergency repairs. For example, at 11:00 PM yesterday evening, my tenant told me there is no power in bathroom and basement and several outlets in the kitchen didn���t work either. And even worse, no heating due to power loss. I emailed VMA and asked for an emergency service in the next morning. To my surprise, Lorraine replied to my email with 10 minutes and told me she would arrange somebody onsite the first thing the next morning. At 7:30 AM, I got a call from Mike that he would meet me at 8:00 AM. Finally Mike replaced two broken breakers in the electric panel and fixed the issue. My tenant is thrilled to see an electrician onsite in such a short time. I am impressive for their emergency services. Overall, they did an awesome job! We love working with them.

    All products were shipped on time; the installation was performed via phone and went smoothly. Good and polite customer service to helped us through the quick and easy installation. We had one sensor misbehaving after two months and we called customer service. They guided us through the reset mechanism for that specific sensor as well.
    Overall they have a very good product and the customer service is great. They are responsive, polite and have a system that is so easy to install and operate.

    Entryway alarm system. Self install, very easy to do.  System works well, they are responsive when alarm in set off.  Phone call within a minute.  Nice simple system and reasonable monitoring.

    I bought this wireless alarm system for my daughter who was living in a ground floor apt. in Boston.  It gave her a sense of security and me piece of mind.  We set it up and it worked really well. She hooked into a central security system and paid a monthly rate.  I would definitely recommend it!

    Their customer service is exceptional! I used the Angie's List offer of $99 and they substituted what I needed. You do not have to go with what is listed on the offer. Everything is cellular so there is no wiring and you set it up yourself - it's very easy. You can add additional equipment at any time. They were extremely easy to work with, very knowledgeable and patient. I got three motion detectors, three door alarms and a glass break sensor and it covers the entire house. I also got a keychain remote, which is great because you don't have to punch in your code to set or disarm it when you leave or come home. Every time I have called FrontPoint,  I have gotten a pleasant and helpful customer service rep. I am very impressed with this company and highly recommend them!

    I have been a Frontpoint customer for almost one year now have been largely satisfied with both their product and service.

    PROS:  
    + Install is as easy as described by the sales reps; just make sure to request some extra tape for the sensors.  I had to move mine a couple times to get them in a place where the windows and doors still function properly. 
    + Web/ and phone access for interactive monitoring and home automation both work well and are a plus for me.+ Wireless monitoring (no need for phone or internet for service)
    + Customer Service

    CONS:
     - You can't update account or billing information online.  This is odd for a company that seems high tech. (UPDATE, I was told this will be coming soon)
    - Contracts suck, I hate being locked into a long term contract but at least I am satisfied with the service.

    Conclusion: If you are the do-it yourself type, like a company on the cutting edge of industry technology, and appreciate a company who really does care about the customer Frontpoint is probably for you.

    Called early in the week to set up appointmentt for Friday. I had to cancel at last minute, Bill was okay and rescheduled for Monday afternoon. He came and inspected my mother's alarm system. She had purchased it with a security plan. When she didn't renew the plan she was unable to get the company rep to come out and stop intermittent alarms. Bill changed the back up battery, removed the number for the auto dial out, (another thing going wrong with the unit) and advised that the wireless remote sensors also had batteries and would eventually need service and that he could take care of them. He was tidy, quick, thorough and professional. I feel comfortable knowing he can support my mother's security system, as I live in Massachusetts.

    I've used them for years. They are small. It s a minimal service, but it's fair, and it works for me. I mean, I have the most basic alarm system there could be, but from what I understand, this company can put in the motion detectors for you and everything like that if you want that type of service, too. I have been very happy with them, and I have no plans of finding a new alarm company any time in the near future.

    ADT is a good company but for their more extensive packages including carbon monoxide prevention, their prices are expensive. I go with a lower plan because it is affordable and gives me the protection I need from home invaders. I had one problem with my alarm recently. They came out right away to fix it. They are a great company.

    One of my door sensors was tripping the alarm without cause and it took three visits and three different parts to fix it. Getting the appointment was easy and the techs were lovely people. I was just frustrated that it took three visits to get it fixed correctly. Since I work at home I was not terribly inconvenienced. Maintenance is included in my monthly bill so the service calls did not cost me extra.
