    Camaforte Design
Camaforte Design was outstanding! They provided accurate cost estimates, great design recommendations, and completed the renovation right on time. I was very pleased with the product selection, design options, and quality of the products. Camaforte Design gave me an estimate of when they could get the work done and they were right on target. The quality of the work was excellent. Marcos went out of his way to make sure we were happy with what we got - and they were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them!

    Craig Certner Design
Craig was so helpful for us during our house renovation. I had no intention of using a designer because I was worried they were going to make my home into something that looked too fancy, which is not my style. Craig walked into my house, looked around and said "John, I LOVE this house". It was nice to see he had as much energy and excitement for renovating my house as I did. However, looking at the picture of his other projects made me weary, I thought he was going to be too modern for my wife and I. He listened to what we liked, and worked with us every step along the way. He never made us feel bad for not liking one of his suggestions. He did make us stretch our comfort zones a little (adding an accent wall, gray island cabinets and white kitchen cabinets...) but it add paid off and I love it. The number of options are overwhelming and Craig was always able to find the right products for our style. He was also able to work with our budget (which wasn't much). The kitchen he designed is AMAZING! And his discounts will more than make up for his upfront price. He came up with a couple of ideas no other kitchen cabinet sales person was able to do From email's at 11:30 pm about bathroom faucets, to picking out tiles on a Saturday afternoon, Craig is totally easy to work with and he made this very stressful situation fun! I highly recommend

Abbreviated Version: Don't use Stoneworks. The owner, Eddy, comes across as a super nice guy, but he's a bit of a snake. If everything goes well, you'll likely be okay. If *anything* goes wrong, you'll likely spend weeks, if not months, trying to get it addressed. Seriously, save yourself the headache, go someplace else. We tried to be smart consumers by discussing our concerns with Stoneworks (some bad reviews) prior to selecting them, but it didn't matter, we were fooled just like most of the other people in the other reviews. Don't be fooled, use somebody else. We wouldn't recommend them and will never use them again. Details: There is a large backstory with many issues, but the biggest complaint we had was in regards to Customer Service, most evident in this issue. In regards to the bullnose: there was none ordered for the edges of the backsplash. Being fair: We never asked about it as we didn't know what it was. Is that on my wife and I? I suppose, but you go to a store like Stoneworks to help guide you through the process as not everyone has remodeled a kitchen - and Eddy never once asked if we needed any. We ordered the bull nose tile after our contractor asked where it was, and this is where Eddy really failed in our opinion. He first told us it should be in the following week. That came and went with no Bullnose Tile. The estimated delivery became another week away, and again that came and went with no tile. I waited a 2 full weeks after that, not bugging him at all and called then, 4 weeks after the order and was finally told: "It just got delivered, come pick it up whenever". We were ecstatic, the final piece of our kitchen. 1 hour after that phone call I got an email from him (no call) basically saying "Just kidding, it's not in, I'll follow up when I have more information". I called 2 times over the next week, got his VM both times, no return call. I ended up going to another Tile store (Tile Plus More, in Natick - recommend them), I ordered the bullnose on a Friday, it was delivered to my home the following Tuesday. What took Eddy 4 weeks (And, still wasn't in at the time I finally cancelled (5 weeks) took this other company 4 days. Now, this didn't impact the functionality of the kitchen, but was a further delay and is ridiculous that 1) I had to deal with the run-around that Stoneworks gave us, and 2) I had to go to another company to actually fulfill the order.

    Charles River Cabinetry
George Abdon and Charles River Cabinetry were recommended to us by one of the contractors we were interviewing in preparation for a full kitchen renovation. The contractor regularly works with George and thought he would be a good personality fit for us. While we had an idea of how we thought we might rearrange the kitchen, we were interested to get a professional's take on it. George came out right away and talked to us about what we wanted before making his own recommendation. He was really easy to get along with and we were comfortable with him right away. We selected the style of cabinets we wanted and had him draw up the design plan. We didn't pick the contractor that usually works with George, but since we were so happy with all the prep work George had already done, we stuck with him. Things did get a little awkward when the contractor we picked was insisting that he and his team install the cabinets, whereas George and his company normally do the installs. Despite advising us against it based on his own paste experiences, George was flexible and let our contractor handle the installation. (We only insisted because it was clear our contractor wouldn't take the project if he didn't install the cabinets and we didn't want to start all over at that point.) However, I can't tell you how many times my husband and I uttered the refrain, "we should have had George do this" over the course of the project! We very much regretted not having him and his company do the installation. Our contractor wasn't familiar with this brand and was sloppy with a lot of the work. They installed the light rail upside-down, causing us to have to wait while more was ordered. The installation overall seemed to stretch on for a week or more, whereas George's guy would have been in and done it all, and done it well, in just a couple of day since he knows the product inside and out and knows just how to finesse it. George was readily available via text and calls and was fantastic when we had an issue with the crown molding. The type we ordered is reversible, and through some issue at the factory, we received the incorrect side painted, even though the correct type was ordered and listed on the box. Our contractor installed it, not realizing it was wrong (another reason we wanted to go with George for installation - his guy would have immediately seen the error). When I contacted George about it, he pushed the manufacture to replace it at no cost to us, even though they initially didn't want to. In the end, we decided to keep what was up as being a nice-looking option we hadn't considered. But the fact that George had sway with the manufacturer and was willing to use it to help us really showed that he cares about his clients and making sure they're happy in the end. We were really pleased we ended up with George and Charles River Cabinetry and have already recommended them to a friend who is considering his own kitchen renovation.

    Bath & Company
Terrible. Absolute terrible customer service. I've been trying to purchase a vanity via a big deal for a while. Several weeks ago I placed an order, was informed the specifications were sent off to the cabinet makers and remnant area, only to never hear back from the associate. I sent multiple emails with no response, I called, never got an answer, only to finally get a simple "we don't have anything, sorry". Do not waste your time with this unprofessional company.

    Pacific Stone & Tile
It went great. They did an excellent job with helping me select a granite, working with me at the granite/stone facility to pick a slab, and scheduling for the work. Sal was very patient, courteous, and professional.

    Marco Polo Construction
Everything they did was first class with professionalism and care to details. I was really impressed with the professionalism shown by Marco executing this project.? We started and finished on schedule.? If Marco said that an electrician, or framer, or painter, or plumber was going to show up at 8am the next morning, the person would be there before time. The quality of the work was excellent; the scope of work was defined really well.? They are consummate professionals, highly responsive, willing to make recommendations, and totally transparent. I'm not sure there's much more to say than that. Easily my strongest recommendation of any home service provider I have encountered. I?m contacting Marco for future projects with no doubt.
