    KINSELLABUILT
All work was done as promised. The quality - first class. Very professional. Great attention to details and original woodwork. The project came a little over budget, but we asked for several upgrades. Construction crew was very friendly, cleaned after work every day. James is a great carpenter himself and gave us many good advices. Strongly recommend.

    Marcellos Design & Builders
Every time we work with Marcello and his team, the work is simply stunning. Their attention to detail and on-the-spot problem solving have made them my go to partner for all projects.
As the project progress, we learned a lot about the house as we did demolition-- as with all projects. The team came up with some really great variations to the design to incorporate all of the good and bad discoveries about the house. For example, the center chimney stack was going to be a dead space where we would have simply put shelves. They suggested we make is a centerpiece and painstakingly applied field stone onto it and made is a key focal point of the design.
Marcello is also focused on using less waste in the process of construction which is very important to me. His team utilized reclaimed lumber to build the bathroom vanity and frame all of the bathroom doors and windows. Again, absolutely beautiful.
I can't recommend Marcello and his team enough!

    Bertola Custom Homes & Remodeling
Joe was able to schedule our initial appointment very quickly after we contacted him.  He was able to send us a quote within 24 hours.  Joe's quote was very complete and itemized everything we discussed.  Joe had some great ideas for how to hide the columns, oil tank, radon equipment, furnace, sump pumps, etc in closets.  Joe's company also installed a ductless system (in the basement as well as on the other two levels of the house), built several closets for storage, replaced all doors and windows, installed a new floor, walls, ceiling, lights, etc.  We showed Joe a picture of the laundry closet we saw on-line from another website, and Joe was able to duplicate it perfectly. Joe was always available via email, text and telephone to go over any issues, problems, questions, etc.  Any issues we had, Joe was able to resolve quickly.  Joe has a team of very experienced and professional workers (electricians, plumbers, painters, carpenters, etc.). Joe added some extra small improvements at no charge to us, because he knew we had gone over budget (due to some unexpected costs/complications), and didn't want to "nickel and dime" us, to get some extra improvements taken care of.  Joe takes a lot of pride in his work and wanted to make sure the job was done the right way.  My husband and I are very pleased with the final result of the basement, it looks beautiful and we can't wait to start using it.  We will definitely recommend Bertola Custom Homes & Remodeling to our neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, etc.  We plan to hire Bertola Custom Homes and Remodeling for future projects because we know we will receive the same excellent job, attention to detail, fair pricing and level of comfort,  that we received on this basement project. Thanks again Joe... you and your team did an awesome job! :)

It went great!  Joe didn't have any problems whatsoever hanging the rack and it is still hanging!  And he patched some of the holes I had made during my failed attempts.   Joe is very handy and easy to work with.  I'll definitely call for his services again.

    Spectrum Painting & Carpentry
Went very well. We LOVE how the walk in closet turned out. Beautfil custom made cabinets, hardwood floor, wood trims and moldings, and well installed adjustable Rubbermaid shelving grid system. In our 50's house, this was an unusual and tough space to work in. But careful attention thru all the construction steps resulted in a closet that looks like it's always been there and provides wonderful functionality. Our kitchen patnry was another oddball job that turned a tiny broom closet ito a highly functional kitchen pantry with roll out drawers. Approach was thoughtful and allowed for discusison along the way to modify and improve things so end result was even more storage, and more flexibilty for re-arranging shelving components than we had hoped for. A non-closing shower door and jamming bedroom door were also quickly repaired in between these 2 other projects. When next project or repair project pops up, we know who to call!

Result is just amazing. The space is completely transformed. Workmanship throughout is excellent and we are very pleased. In this 50's house nothing is quite level or straight. So it was important for some things to be carefully scribed or fitted to create a result pleasing to the eye as well as functional. Some of what we wanted was only a vague idea and Paul helped us figure out how to best implement it in a cost effective and reasonable way. Paul is very professional, keeps things clean and tidy while work proceeds. Easy to work with. Project ran longer than we expected so cost was ultimately a bit more than expected. Everyone warned us that remodeling a basement takes more time than you think and it did, but we are very happy with result. We plan to have him return to do additional work on the house upstairs and would recommend him to others as well.

    HEINO HOME IMPROVEMENTS
Everything went great. Initially, we thought that his price was high, but this price is justified by the high-quality work he provides. He was also very accomodating and fixed an issue with the trim when it turned out to be something other than what I had envisioned it to be.

    JMS Partners Inc
John and his crew are all professional, flawlessly courteous and patient, and highly skilled. Throughout the process, John was in daily contact with us to tell us how the project was going, and what the next steps were. The guys working in our home were so nice, friendly with us and our kids, and cleaned up every day. When there were occasional glitches along the way (carpet installed wrong by the vendor, a problem with the door lock), John was right there to address the problems to our satisfaction. We have received many compliments on the craftsmanship of the work, all thanks to JMS.

    CLOSET TEC
AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO INSTALL EVERYTHING ON ONE DAY IN A MATTER OF HOURS; INSTEAD IT TOOK ALMOST TWO WEEKS. FIRST DAY THEY ARRIVED AT 1:00 FOR A 9:00 APPOINTMENT (THEY DID CALL TO SAY THEY'D BE THERE BY 12:00, BUT WEREN'T); THEY WERE RUDE, DEFENSIVE, AND UNAPOLOGETIC. THEN IT TURNED OUT THE PIECES HAD BEEN CUT WRONG SO THEY COULDN'T INSTALL. SECOND DAY THEIR SAW BROKE SO THEY LEFT THE JOB HALF-DONE (INSTEAD OF GETTING A NEW SAW OR USING A BACKUP!). FINALLY FINISHED ON DAY THREE. PRICES WERE HIGH, WORKMANSHIP ADEQUATE, MATERIALS CHEAP AND OVERPRICED, DESIGN OVERALL MEDIOCRE TO POOR.
