Dana Storrs did not only inspect the three chimney flues, but the connections to furnace and water heater as well, explaining the safety feature on the furnace in case of flue failure, and the absence of such on the water heater (and what to look for instead). Climbing on the roof he found the bluestone on top of the chimney loose. And, when we mentioned it, had a likely solution to the occasional...

The guy doing the work was professional. More unusually, the owner called me the week before, because she was going to be on vacation while the service was being performed, and she wanted to make sure I didn't have any questions ahead of time and to give me a number in case I needed to reach the guy doing the work on the day, which I really appreciated it (even though I didn't end up needing it)
