    I've been using them for about five years now.  Three years ago, they told me that my cat had six to twelve months left to live.  I still have that same cat, so I'm thinking that their prognosis is a little off.  But obviously they're helping take good care of him; he's nineteen now.

    The Common Dog is awesome!  Laura and her staff are exceptional and have a wonderful way with their 'clients'.  All you have to do is ask my dog, Missy, if she wants to go see her 'friends' and she flies to her leash and once it's on can't get out the door and in the car fast enough!  I sometimes think if I just pulled up to the building and just opened my door that she would just go in by herself.  She doesn't even take a look back at me once the staff greats her!  and let me tell you that when we get home after a day at Doggie Daycare she can't get into her bed and curl up fast enough .. she is so tired!  I am not kidding when I say the staff is exceptional .. they truly care about the 'clients' and you can see the special bonds that they build with our dogs.  When we 1st brought Missy to TCD, she couldn't go right into group as she was a little under-socialized (who knew) and TCD worked with her and now she so acclimated that we forget what it was like when we 1st brought her.  Missy loves her 'friends' at TCD and we wouldn't bring her anywhere else!

    He is awesome. He comes to the house. It is a van. He even made time for me. He tries to accommodate you and I love that. His price is excellent because they are all about the same and he comes to the door so I could not ask too much more. He is very clean. He got me in there. He did some manipulations with his customers and got my doggie in. He was there right on-time. I hope he stays that way. He is very popular all around Boston. Right now, I am very happy with him. I have used him three times. He is a nice guy too. He is very professional. I would not do it if he was not good. He got the personality. I am due to call him within the next few days.

    It was so easy for us and he is so nice. He came to the house, he brought our dog to his van, did his thing, cut her nails, cleaned her ears and used a special shampoo because she's delicate. He got her back in the house and I gave him the money. His punctuality is awesome. To me professionalism is making me feel comfortable and making the dog comfortable and that's what he did. I'm so glad that it worked out because I was kind of nervous when I called him.

    So (did you notice how everyone starts their sentences with and quot;soand quot; now?), they clipped/shaved my cat as requested and trimmed her nails. They had asked me to return to the shop to pick her up in an hour and, sure enough, when I returned in that hour, my cat was ready to come home. The only reason I gave a and quot;Band quot; rating to and quot;Responsivenessand quot; was because it took a few days for them to return my initial call. I thought they had forgotten me; however, at the time I booked my appointment, they had had a few days off in a row. Can't blame them for that - having time away from work - and especially for getting away from that phone because it rang A LOT in the few minutes that I both dropped off and picked up my cat! They did as I had asked - which was great - and I left what I thought was a great tip! They complimented me regarding my cat, as well! I would definitely use this provider again, for all that I have said, and also because they encouraged that I could just stop in to have something done that took just minutes - like shaving around an area on my cat that tends to get dirty!

    Oh, I also want to say that there are many restaurants nearby within walking distance where you could eat and wait for the time to pass while your animal is getting cleaner and more lovely to look at. I thought, however, that there were not as many shops to browse within reasonable walking distance. If, another time, I wanted to shop, I would probably need to scope the area by car, as I do not live in or know Arlington that well.

    My dog is at their daycare multiple days per week and he absolutely loves it. I know my dog is well cared for when there, and have never had any problems. They even called me once when my dog started to limp while playing. They kept an extra eye on him, and monitored his progress. He was perfectly fine the next day, but Dogwood Cottage called and asked me how he was doing. They are also responsive outside of daycare hours and have returned my calls in the evening / and followed up with me on the weekend when I've had questions. As a bonus, they post pictures on facebook throughout the day.
    My only complaint is that because I am there so frequently I wish there was a price break, even just a small one, for frequent users. There are closer doggie daycare centers to me but traveling to Dogwood is well worth the extra drive. I highly recommend Dogwood Cottage.

    They were okay and I did not have to wait long for the appointment.  The hours were good and it was close.  I wasn’t unhappy with them.  I spent around $200 on that service.  I thought that their pricing was reasonable compared to where I used to go.  I had to wait and I did not like that about them.  They told me that they had a couple of emergencies, but I had to wait a long time.  I never waited that long at the other vet.

    I had a great experience with Toureen! I called a few weeks in advance to see if I could board my 2 cats for a few hours while my movers packed and loaded the truck (see my review for Roadrunner Movers). I live in a loft so I have no doors and didn't want to pen them up in the bathroom for hours on end.

    Frank (gosh I hope that's his name!) was really great on the phone and shockingly, said he WOULDN'T CHARGE ME for the few hours I needed. He was just glad I was putting my pets in a safe place on moving day! Are you kidding? Who doesn't charge in this day and age??? I paid for the nail trim of course, but sure enough, I wasn't charge for the boarding.

    The young woman at the desk is a bit surly and perhaps needs to consider a different profession, but everyone else was really great. Despite the earthquake and the trauma of a mani/pedi, Linus and Lucy were in great shape when I picked them up and put them in the car for the drive down to CT. Already in their individual carriers, it made it just so much easier to belt them in and we were on our way.

    Thanks to the staff at Toureen for making one aspect of moving day a lot less stressful - and a lot less expensive!

    When we got home the cats didn't even bother to get up from the couch to greet us, so I think that the visits were exactly what they needed. Usually they freak out with neediness, but this time they were happy and relaxed. I think they love Peg more than they love us!

    I called one day before and made a appointment for the next day. The following day I went there, as soon I walked in the door they took my dog and put him to play with the other dogs, then they took the dog to bathe. They treated the dog with a lot of love and care as if it was a child. The place is not to big but they treat your pet(s) very well and the price is worth paying.
