    Hunter, Dr. David G
Dr. Hunter carried out an extrodinary exam for me that eventually led to the cure of a condition that I had from the time I was born. I saw him a few times before the surgery and he was very thorough and was good to answer all of my questions. He does amazing work and I will go back to him for any issues that I might have with my eyes.

    Richard Blocker MD
Dr. Blocker is just fantastic! He came out to get us at the agreed-upon time for our appointment, so there was no waiting. He was easily one of the best doctors I've ever seen at establishing rapport with a young child! He and my daughter got on really well together and she let him shine all sorts of lights in her eyes and put funny glasses on her and she was laughing and pointing at things and generally enjoying herself, which was a relief considering that she'd been having a temper tantrum in the hallway on the way into the office. :) He explained what was happening with each step of the exam, his office was equipped with all sorts of things to keep her entertained and engaged while he performed the exam, and he made both my daughter and I completely comfortable, even going so far as to have a "treasure chest" of little toys that she could pick from once the exam was over. The treasure chest kept us both occupied for the few minutes at the end when he was writing up his report. He sent a copy to her pediatrician and gave me a copy, and he gave me clear instructions for what to look for next in her symptoms and what the follow-up should be. I was absolutely delighted with this visit!

    Jennifer Mullon MD
Great! Dr. Mullon spent a good amount of time finding out about my eye history and condition (granted, I was the last appointment of the day, but I definitely did not feel like she wanted to get me out the door and go home). I felt like she genuinely was interested in my case and even offered to help look up 30+ year old medical records at a previous hospital where I had surgery as an infant so that she could get a complete picture of my eye history. She gave me her assessment of my current vision, surgery options as well as pros and cons of surgery. Since surgery for me is completely optional, she gave me the complete freedom to opt in or out of it with no judgment or influence either way. She answered every question I had and asked clarification to make sure she understood what I meant. She explained everything, from why I see what I do to why it is correctable or not. She not only explained the medical issues around strabismus, but also the social stigma surrounding it and considered both when explaining treatment options to me. She seemed extremely knowledgeable, and even when I asked my children's pediatrician of a pediatric ophthalmologist to see, he recommended Dr. Mullon before I even mentioned her. I had to book my appointment over a month in advance - they only offer my kind of appointment on certain days, either because she is mainly a pediatric doctor or because she splits her time with the Westford office, I wasn't sure. On the day of the appointment, I was checked in by a front desk staff person who was nothing but super nice. Dr. Mullon was running 30 minutes late, but while I wasn't thrilled, I was not upset (I was the last appointment of the day). And in the end, it wasn't a whole 30 minutes late. I was first examined by Dr. Mullon's assistant (Camille?). Camille was very professional and capable - I almost thought she was the doctor. The only negative experience I had at the practice was working with the one front desk staff after my appointment. She did not understand when Dr. Mullon asked her to look up my old medical records at an out-of-town hospital. This staff person thought I needed to sign a release of my medical record from their own office. And when she finally gave me the correct form, she did not know the answers to my questions of how to fill the form out (use my old address or new, etc.). I haven't heard a response from the office about whether they found my old medical record or not and I have no idea if the form that I filled out even worked. Since it was the end of the day, she was the only staff person left and could not ask help from anyone else. But I take this last 10 minutes of the experience to be somewhat unusual given my situation. The rest of the experience was great and I plan on taking my children there for their ophthalmologist appointments, as well as mine in the future.

    Laby, Dr. Daniel M.
Overall it went well, waited a long time before being seen, then once the eyes were dialated then had to wait additional time (and then some) before he could be re-examined. The dr's were great with me and with my son. They made him feel comfortable and were able to explain what they were doing and why to me so that I understood what was going on.

    Lexington Eye Associates Inc.
Dr. Boger and his associate were both great with my daughters. It's not an easy feat to do an eye exam on a squirmy toddler and they did a good job of distracting her and getting the information they needed. Dr. Boger is very clear in his explanations. He took the time to give thorough answers to my questions. Their office is conveniently located (for me). It's easy to park there and they have toys and magazines for young kids. Dr. Boger also referred me to a good eye glass store for when I needed to pick out frames for my youngest. I've been very happy with my experience with this office and I would highly recommend him and his practice.

    Gushard, Dr. Robert H.
I like everything about him. My husband and I have been going to him for eight or nine years. The overall experience was excellent. He is very busy and somtimes you have to wait awhile. The office is very clean. The staff is very friendly. I would use this practice again.

    O'Ine McCabe MD
Dr. McCabe was on time and had a gentle manner that quickly put my son at ease for his first eye exam. He went through all the usual tests and finished with a lollipop. The appointment was on time and a good experience.

I saw Dr. David Gendelman for a follow up visit for an eye problem that I had had. He is very professional, and easy to deal with. He ""ALWAYS"" gives me all the time I need to have my questions answered, no matter how silly they may appear. He is very nice. His office is always clean, comfortable, and his staff are always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I strongly recommend him to anyone needing an eye doctor.

    Hunter, Dr. David G
Extremely successful. I went in with double vision stemming from a childhood issue. Dr. Hunter performed surgery after an extensive exam and the surgery solved the problem. He followed up the next day and remained available for questions or problems. I am very pleased with the result.

    O'Ine McCabe MD
Not a good experience. Had to wait over a month for an appointment. I called ahead to find out whether the exam would be covered under medical or vision insurance, was told medical and that they would take my insurance. When I got there the lady checking me in had a different story - if a medical condition (such as lazy eye) is found then it's medical insurance, otherwise it's vision insurance and they don't take ours. Like Catch 22, I have to guess ahead of time whether my daughter has a problem or not. The doctor was 30 minutes late seeing us. She didn't even look at me or introduce herself, just launched in with the exam. The exam was brief and cursory. She said there was no medical problem and dumped us in the waiting room without even telling us where to go next or what to do. I tried to question her but she was clearly too busy to answer. A week later I took my daughter to a different optometrist who did a thorough exam, and was able to explain and demonstrate to me that her eyes do turn in somewhat - though her eye tracking seems acceptable this other optometrist showed me what to watch for to make sure everything stays fine. By comparison, Dr. McCabe treated my daughter like a number.
