They were excellent. They were really helpful and I felt like they communicated extremely well and kept me up to date with the repairs. They did a great job with it.

    MEGA WATT CAR STEREO
Rick at Wega Watt was the only place that matched a package to improve the stereo sound with my interest and my budget. All of the other locations pushed for much bigger and much more expensive solution. The shopping experience was also excellent. All of the work was completed on time as promised. The technician met with me after the amp was installed to make a number of fine tuning tweaks based on my musical interests and listening style rather than a one-size-fits-all method. I greatly appreciated the personal touch. Of interesting note, there was a slight discrepancy between my written estimate and the final price. When I produce the quote they immediately apologized and adjusted the price accordingly. This speaks to Rick's professionalism and character. I would recommend them just based on this experience. With that said, I can also recommend them for the impressive improvement in sound quality and fidelity. If and when I upgrade the speakers, I have not doubt that I will be going to Mega Watt!

    Traffic Jams-Auto Security & Stereo
Their service is so amazing. I never paid them any money but their service is so good. The reason it wasn't working is I had carried some lumber in the car, the lumber was actually on the deck. A splinter went into one of the buttons. I brought it into the Honda dealership and they said, you're going to need a new radio. It's going to cost you $1200, factory part. I said, forget that. I can get something off market. I brought it in there and he says, I can see that you have a splinter. He took the splinter out, reprogrammed it and charged me nothing. He's like a psychic when it comes to car. He really has skills when it comes to stereos in your car. I had a very good experience there.

    COLONIAL MOTORS
I love Colonial Motors.  Their prices are very reasonable, they always get work needed on my car done quickly (often on short notice, while I shop in West Concord Village) and there are great people working there - I find I often want to chat with them, and once I saw someone who looked lonely and a bit down-and-out come in solely to shoot the breeze.  The respect the owner welcomed him with would have been appropriate for a governor.  The place has a very non-commercial feel, with real plants growing in random pots and used books for sale (including Making Things Grow - clearly they already have this down!).  A gem.

    Sound in Motion
The car was started and finished on time. The owner Derek Kenney and his General Manager Jimmy were most helpful and spent as much time as I wanted with my 993 1997 Porsche. They also fixed my seats which had run off the track. I have nothing but good things to say about Sound in Motion in Brighton.

    SUPERIOR RADIO & SECURITY INC
After checking the battery, investigated as to why it had to be recharged too many times; "Joe" checked every switch, outlet, etc. and found that the control for the dome light was always left on, which is why the battery failed. After having them check all the wiring, was extremely relieved. Also, discovered the wiring for the dome light was missing a plug.  Suggested on how to find one for this vehicle. During this time, Joe would check in with me from time to time and would ask questions about the vehicle.  I found the schematic for the wiring, so I have to somehow find the appropriate plug, and they can fix and rewire it for me.  They are the only people I would take my vehicles to with any wiring issues.   In addition, when I'm ready to replace the radio, I intend to go to them.  They previously installed my Viper alarm system as well.

    AUDIOMAX
I've wanted to have the stereo in my 2006 Ford Escape modified for iPod/iPhone integration for years, but after researching products on the web I realized I couldn't do it myself, but didn't know where to find someone that specialized in it. I found Audiomax through Angie's List and, since it was the closest location that advertised the service, I called to get more information about what my options were. The owner spoke to me at length on the first phone call and spelled out the alternatives, from the low cost options up. He was very knowledgeable about the available products, and spent a good deal of time on that first call explaining them to me. And there was no pressure at all. He was doing more explaining than selling. One of his suggestions turned out to be better (and cheaper) than the product I had found in my own web search, so I decided to go with it. The installation went faster than I thought it would. In fact I had planned to drop the truck off and return when it was ready, but my ride was late, so by the time my ride got there the work was done. The price was for the sound system and labor were just what he quoted on the first call. The owner was also very friendly and took me through a demonstration of the system for about 20 minutes. And as I was leaving he encouraged me to call back anytime I had a question, and he meant it.I would definitely recommend Audiomax for any work, and if/when I get rid of my Escape I'll probably have them take the new system out and put the original factory CD player/receiver back in.

    Krank It Up
I bought a new car and it did not come with a feature that allowed a Sirius/XM radio to be placed internally. I called and made an appointment. They started right on time and even brought me back to make sure I would be happy with the placement of the head unit. They hid all the wires and ran the antenna properly without any trace anything was done to the car. They did it under 1 hour and gave me a little discount because it was quick for them to do. They are friendly and had coffee and donuts while waiting for the head unit to be installed.

    MEGA WATT CAR STEREO
I chose to replace the stock speakers in my car with upgraded speakers. The people in the shop were very friendly and receptive. They researched the car speaker type and went over the options of speakers available. Scheduling was easy and the speakers were installed and work great. There are a few little details that keep them from getting an "A" rating. They have been open for years and seem to be doing great business, but the shop is slightly run down and disorganized. The listening room does not have many decks and speakers hooked up for comparison - so this is not the place to go to comparison shop for speakers. As for price. When I first walked in - I had a 'guestimate' about the speaker costs. When I inquired that it seemed high, they looked up the price and found that their guestimate was $20 over the actual retail cost. The installation cost is at average or above average for this area. When I got the car, I found that the door locks needed to be re-connected again. Mega-Watt fixed the problem within 5 minutes of me returning to the shop, but it was a small inconvenience. The above problems were very small and the work was completed in a timely and extremely professional manor. I believe in fair reviews. Mega Watt is one of the better Car Stereo installation companies I have used, but they are not the best. Many of the problems above are because they are a small installation shop. Larger companies and big box stores may have a better exterior experience, but I have had multiple problems with big box store installers since they use junior installation people. I would not hesitate to use Mega-Watt again. The prices are average/fair. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. And the stereo sounds great.
