KELLY'S HOUSE OF HARLEY DAVIDSON INC
Kelly's House of Harley Davidson has all of the amenities a business traveling man needs and expects. They have coffee, phone an internet service to use while you wait. The mechanics and owners are honest and have very fair pricing. They get the work done on time and it's always top quality. I can't remember what this job cost.

    STREET MACHINE FABRICATORS
They did a great job. The paint job is near perfect and looks like it was done in a factory. The seals and tire mounting were well done. Dan always takes the time to answer all my questions (since I often work on the bike myself) and discuss options for anything I need. He and his team are great.

    BIKEWORX
Bought a replacement chain and sprockets for my Honda VT750 C/D Dlx. through the internet, then realized it would cost me more to buy the tools to put it on, then it would to have it done.  I chose Bikeworx because they're local, i've used them before when they were at their Maynard address (they've moved, the address is 1 Kane Industrial Park, Hudson, MA 01749).  I dropped the bike off in the morning to pick up later in the day after work.  I was quoted 1-2 hours work. When I picked the bike up, it turned out that the read axle had been frozen to the wheel bearings and it took quite a while to free them up and get the job done.  Even so, the bike was ready by the end of the day and the total price ($195.00) while more that I was expecting, was still less than the lift and chain-tool I would have had to buy to do it myself. The bike was sounding like a cement mixer before changing out the chain and sprockets, afterwards, the noise was gone. The Bikeworx guys are great, they do good work, and they don't cost you an arm and a leg.

    Twisted Spoke
Twisted Spoke went through the entire cooling system to determine the problem and then corrected it. Have had no issues with the cooling system since. They can to my house a picked up the bike for $30.00, the least I have ever seen for that type of service. I would use them again and plan on using them this winter to store my bike.

    J & G Performance
Executive summary: They do it right and they're the only game in (near) town that I know of... I have an old Suzuki VX-800 that sat for years. It's hard to find a shop that will touch these old bikes. These guys came recommended from a local dealer. We arranged a pick up, they showed on time, snatched the bike and left. Couple of days later (I told them I was not in a rush) I got a call back with the laundry list: disassemble both carbs and clean, new air filters, new fork seals, etc etc etc and the estimate. Lots of parts to order. I said, do it all and get it inspected. A week later, it's good to go. I swing down and pick it up. Runs like a champ. So the one ding, but not enough to degrade service: They didn't inspect it. I was bummed, because it was a long way back. But I when I checked the bill, I noticed they hadn't billed me for an inspection, either. I called, they apologized anyway. The snow came, I ended up waiting a month and a local shop had new stickers, so in the end they saved me the cost of an inspection. (All MC inspections in MA expire end of May)

    RIVERSIDE MOTOR SPORTS
I love these guys. Riverside Motor Sports don't condescend because I'm a woman. They are honest and show me respect. I really appreciated the pick-up service. I know they are excellent mechanics and I would recommend anyone with a motorcycle to go here.

    Vindicated Cycles, LLC
Everything went extremely well. Chris was straight forward, honest, and a true pleasure to do business with. I called and got in within 20 minutes to do the inspection. I found I needed a new tire (which I expected) and Chris ordered me a new one right there and is planning on making the replacement this week. I love working with shops that are upfront, unassuming, and fair. These guys are great!
